La estadía estuvo muy bonita, la vista desde la cabaña es hermosa, el acceso al lago para ir a nadar es seguro y le da un plus al lugar, esperamos volver 🫶🏻

Nos hospedamos en Casita Mimosa para dos personas, puedes parquear dentro lo cual es bueno y seguro. En la noche hay poco ruido, pero si eres muy sensible lo debes tener en cuenta. La casita tiene muchos detalles lindos y utensilios para cocinar. Hay varias tiendas y una panadería cerca. También un muelle por el que pasan colectivos hacia otros pueblos. Nosotros caminamos a San Marcos en 20 minutos. Y en tuc tuc fueron entre 15 y 25 por persona one way.

Great spot for a couple nights in Tecpan! A little removed from town, so you can still hear some of the noise, but the cabin itself is peaceful and the hosts are very helpful.

Die Lage und Aussicht sind spektakulär! Einfach ein Traum jeden morgen mit Blick auf den See und die Vulkane aufzuwachen. San Marcos ist fußläufig in 30min erreichbar, allerdings sollte man trittfeste Schuhe tragen. Wir hatten ein kleines Ameisenproblem, jedoch hat uns Luzmi freundlicherweise Gefäße für unser Essen zur Verfügung gestellt. Krümel und Essensreste sollten immer sofort entfernt werden. Vielleicht empfiehlt es sich, größere Container für Lebensmittel bereit zu stellen, damit das Insektenproblem vermieden werden kann. Ansonsten war alles tiptop und wir würden einen Aufenthalt im Eco Cottage unbedingt empfehlen!

La cabaña es muy bonita, grande el jardin de la granja , por la tarde noche excelente iluminación, el área de la fogata muy funcional y acogedora, instalaciones excelente y limpias. Un lugar para ir a descansar, compartir con la familia y respirar aire puro

Dar's Airbnb was incredible. The views were breathtaking to wake up to every morning and house is beautifully constructed. Very impressed with it all and highly recommended to travellers I met on the way. Just be prepared for the walk and definitely book the Tuk tuk guide for your first time checking in. He was extremely helpful and we very appreciative with the help with the bags we had.

This is a great cabin to get away from everything. The construction is really nice, the bed is comfy, and the property is beautiful. When we were there the thimbleberries were perfectly ripe and so good. It's private and quiet (except when the cows cross the road). The insects and birds in the evening are relaxing from the upstairs porch. The wood stove is nice but can get a bit smoky where it's not sealed until the fire really gets going. Everybody involved is nice and helpful. You do have to get a tuk tuk or pickup to the property and they might try to overcharge you, but overall it's not *too* inconvenient to come and go if you're patient. It is out of the way and there's only a few places within walking distance, and no direct lake access nearby, but the place itself is lovely.

La ubicación excelente, para el embarcadero y moverte a los otros Poblados. Muy buena seguridad y las personas del restaurante son muy amables! Tienes una vista muy privilegiada y estuvimos muy contentos!

amazing location hanging off the side of the mountain overlooking Lake Atitlan and San Marcos below. Beautifully designed and pristine inside created a retreat for us to relax and enjoy the solitude. Nicholas and his brother were always available to help us with our luggage up the mountain or pick up whatever we needed if we didn't want to leave. We did not have any issues with insects in the house as we had read previously. We were there for 5 days. The shower was hot , the bed comfortable, the views stunning, the mini kitchen worked well for our simple meals and snacks. We highly recommend Dar's place for anyone who wants a spectacular experience.

We had a pleasant stay on the water in Santiago. The apartment seems to be affiliated with the Hotel Bambu (that is where we checked-in & out). The Hotel Bambu is also the closest place to get a meal, we got dinner and lunch there. Otto was very friendly and walked us to the apartment and let us know he was available should we need anything. It was a quiet place and offers great sunrise and sunset views.

Truly an amazing stay! Overall I really enjoyed this space, the views, peaceful and tranquil environment. I really appreciated the supportive and helpful host, rapidly responding to my questions or requests and providing an excellent experience in Tzununa on a daily basis! The house, outdoor space, bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect for my needs. Having the privacy to a house and front yard after busy days of travel was ideal and relaxing. Considering how close to the lake it is, there is no smell or humidity when keeping the door or windows open, which I prefer! The house was accessible through the local boats, with its own boarding dock always readily available. I highly recommend this house to anyone who is looking for a private and peaceful home during their travels!

My stay at the Sacred Tree was an absolute dream. The grounds, casita, and views were gorgeous and relaxing. The people working at Sacred Tree made the trip special as they were welcoming, warm, and helped us with everything we could have possibly imagined. I must return to this very special place. The hospitality, tranquility, and delicious meals make this place a rare gem!

What a lovely property! Perfect, restful space for 2 tired travelers. Close enough to walk into the city and boats, but far enough to be quiet and peaceful. We really enjoyed the amenities as well!

Such an amazing and serendipitous stay. This little lakeside cottage was exactly what I needed for my week away in San Marcos. The area is perfect and easy access to the downtown San Marcos area. The bungalow itself is super quaint and perfect for 1-3 people. Filtered water provided and a full kitchenette and refrigerator to prepare your own food. The fire pit was lovely as well which I wasn’t expecting. Whenever I plan to be back in San Marcos I will absolutely be checking to see if this airbnb is available during my planned stay. Thank you!

hola fue muy bonita experiencia, lo recomiendo, pero tal vez ayudaría un poco tener cortinas no trasparentes en la cabaña para sentirse cómodos. y no tener tantos lazos de colgar ropa en todo el espacio para que pueda apreciarse más el hermoso lugar. pero todo lo demás muy acogedor y Chello muy atento. gracias por la experiencia.

Situé au cœur de la nature c'est très agréable, le personnel est très aimable. L'écologie est très bien respectée. La chambre est très bien, la nourriture peu chère et très bonne. Je recommande.

The stay here felt like pure luxury. We loved everything about it. We came prepared with food for our 2day stay so we didn’t have to leave the property once - and it was the best decision we could’ve made. We just enjoyed the view, and could completely unwind.
