We just returned from a peaceful stay on this very beautiful property! This is not a cookie-cutter mansion, which is a good thing. It has style and charm yet remained very functional for our family vacation. We loved crabbing and fishing off the dock and spent lots of time in the beautifully maintained pool. We brought our two dogs to this pet-friendly property, and they had plenty of room to explore. It is relatively secluded and peaceful, but Crisfield is very close with lots of restaurants, groceries, a marina, etc. There is plenty to do nearby and if you need any suggestions, the very friendly and charming hosts are happy to provide you with recommendations. We will definitely be back to this lovely mansion that manages to be both roomy and cosy at the same time. Thank you!!

We stayed at this terrific property for our annual family vacation. The vote is in, everyone had a great time! Our hosts David and Jerry were very responsive and helpful and check in was easy. David was there to greet us and give us a quick tour and helpful tips on local activities. The pool was fantastic. It was warm and the perfect spot to hang out during the day. The dock was a great place to walk out to in the morning, watch the lovely sunsets at night, do a little fishing and a great way to launch the stand up paddly boards we brought. The house is great, was clean with plenty of room for a group of 10 (7 adults and 3 teenagers). In the evening we could hang out in the game room and play cards or could hang out and watch TV in the TV room. Both ground floor rooms open to the pool. We also appreciated all the little extras like plenty of garbage bags, paper towels, cleaning supplies, water and more. The whole gang highly recommends this property. Thanks we will be back

We were thankful for a restful retreat at this beach house in a tucked away location. It was a blessing to be able to watch the sunsets over the Chesapeake Bay from the living room and screened sunroom. Nearby we enjoyed hiking Deal Island State Wildlife Management Area (be sure to bring insect repellent) which was an adventure for our children as we found snake skeletons and tortoise shells and saw a variety of birds on the Marsh. We took two day trips to Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge and Assateague Beach which were lovely. Our children appreciated the art supplies and outdoor toys. I was impressed with how clean and spacious the the house is--it was a comfortable and affordable vacation stay for our large family. Leticia was a friendly and thoughtful host.

This is a wonderful old house that can hold quite a few people who want to get together for a reunion. We had fun playing games and kayaking. We had a couple issues and host Mark was responsive and accommodating. The location is perfect if you want to get away from civilization and just relax on the porch to read a book or watch nature. There is not much internet coverage and you will want to shop for groceries on your way in through Cambridge.

My husband and I booked a last minute anniversary trip and Denise's home was absolutely perfect. This little home was everything that you could want and more for peace and relaxation. Denise was helpful and responsive and accomodated a very late night check in with no problems!

The house was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated, providing a perfect blend of comfort and luxury. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy to prepare meals while enjoying the breathtaking scenery. We loved the spacious living area, which was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The location was ideal—peaceful and serene, yet conveniently close to nearby attractions and dining options. The outdoor space was a highlight, with a lovely deck where we spent evenings watching the sunset. Overall, it truly exceeded our expectations. We can't wait to return and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a tranquil and spacious beach getaway.

for the area by far the most value for your dollars. Denise was phenomenal, very responsible and helpful. If I'm ever in the area again, guaranteed to be my first choice for lodging!

We enjoyed our stay in Maggie & James’s quaint and cozy home. The area was quiet and like something out of a book with all the locals and marina and restaurant. Our teens enjoyed playing board games from their childhood even though there were games there for their age group. We were gifted a beautiful loaf of sourdough bread from our hosts. So very thoughtful! If you plan to stay there be sure to check the weather and high tide schedule due to coastal flooding. You’re between the sound and the marshes and low roads can get covered with water. If you’re arriving at night it can be difficult to see where the road ends and the marshy area begins. We enjoyed our stay and our teens want to return when we can have more time sitting out on the beach by the water which is just a few steps from their home.

Great stay! Very cozy, beautiful area, beautiful patio free from bugs, will definitely be returning next year.

The journey to Tylerton is part of the experience. The house has a special nook and cranny kind of fun, lots of sleeping space, and a good location. Kept really clean and easy to operate.

Our stay exceeded all expectations! Duke is an excellent communicator, the village is welcoming, the home is comfortable, the decor is a reflection of life on Smith Island and we look forward to planning our next visit! Be sure to visit the local Market for delicious crab cakes and famous Smith Island cakes. We highly recommend this beautiful Smith Island Bungalow for a quaint getaway!!

This home was the perfect location for us! We visited for a family reunion at the state park in Crisfield. The home was the best for our little family. It was clean, close to everything, and had everything we needed! The hosts were very informative and easy to contact if needed. When we come back to town we will definitely return to Noah and Carolyn’s home!

We had a great stay! Was flexible with our very late check in. Directions to house were great. House was very clean. Each kid had their own room which is helpful with teen girls. We would stay there again!
