Great place to stay. Peace and cozy. It has everything you need to relax and cook.

The Chalet was awesome. No complaints. The place was exactly as advertised, if we go back to Jackman for snowmobiling again we will 100% book with Darrick again.

Second time staying here, great location for skiing sugarloaf and saddleback. Everything was as described, even helped out with some ideas when we had some rain days and didn’t ski. Highly recommended.

We had a great experience at Shelley’s place in Coplin Plantation. The house was spotless on arrival, with plenty of towels/linens for all the guests. Shelley was thoughtful enough to leave us hot chocolate, coffee, and a few essential groceries in the fridge in case of a late arrival. The house was everything and more than we expected and I would recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the Sugarloaf/Flagstaff Lake area.

Loafer’s Lodge is peaceful, beautiful, comfortable and offers something for everyone! Close to Sugarloaf and the Outdoor Center, Loafer’s Lodge was centrally located to all that we wanted to do. Returning back to the house to enjoy the beautiful view of the mountain, the cozy living room beside the fire, and the soothing hot tub was beyond any expectations that we had. Looking forward to returning!

We loved our stay and would return! Perfect for our two families looking to do some spring skiing. We got lucky and caught the last couple days of the ski in/ski out trails being accessible. Loved dinner at Portage and the hanging out at Moose alley. Highly recommend!

This was our second year staying at this wonderful house. Haley is a great host, checking in with us before arrival and also following up to make sure everything was in order and to see if we had any questions. House was perfect for our large group. Very clean and well appointed. Hot tub was super clean and very welcome at the end of each day. Plenty of parking. Everything you could ask for in a ski house. Its not always easy finding a place, but this is a no-brainer. Highly recommended. John

We stayed for five nights and had a really relaxing time. The house is just outside of a little town and right off a quiet road. The views from the house are great and the home has huge windows facing the lake. We had a great time using the hot tub. We went on walks nearby and enjoyed getting outside. For the rainy days, the couches upstairs and downstairs are very comfortable and the TVs are easy to use. I would definitely recommend your stay here if you are looking for a peaceful few days.

It’s a wonderful home and has everything you need to feel comfy and at home. Took my teenage boys and younger sister for a four night five day get away and was well worth it. Darcey is a great host and very responsive and very helpful. Will definitely be continuing my stays here in the future ❤️

Sure! Here’s a shorter, more casual version: Amazing Lake Getaway! We had the best time at this incredible lake house! Jim and Zainab were super welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed— answered our numerous questions, gave great suggestions. The house is beautiful, clean, and right on a peaceful lake with stunning views. We loved the boats—whether we were fishing, kayaking, or just relaxing on the water, it was perfect. The sunsets were gorgeous, and the whole place was so relaxing. Oh wait and the hot tub!! I cannot say enough good things about this home and these hosts. If you’re looking for a great spot to unwind, this is it. Can’t wait to come back!

The usage of the canoes, paddle boards, fire pits, perfect condition grills made our two days stay exceed our expectations. The whole area is nicely and clean kept at all times.

We had such a wonderful stay at Katie’s Aframe on Piper Pond! It was just perfect!

Michael was a very thoughtful and responsive host, with clear instructions and proactive handling of situations. The house itself was very beautiful and comfortably slept everyone in my party of 8. We would definitely recommend AWD and snow tires for those visiting in the middle of winter. There was a huge snowstorm during our visit and Michael was clear about when the plow would be visiting, although we did have to wait a few hours and shovel ourselves out a little bit, but there were shovels on the property to add to the ones we brought in our cars. We felt there was a longer list of checkout instructions compared to other properties but we also felt that Michael and Maggie provided a greater number and higher quality of amenities such as a fully stocked kitchen and bar area. We would definitely visit again to try out the hot tub and boat in the summer. Thank you to the hosts for sharing your home with us for the weekend!

We loved ending our honeymoon at Rockwood Cottages! After an adventure filled week, it was nice to sit and admire the lake from our cabin. Very beautifully remodeled. To end the honeymoon, we wanted to grill steaks, and Kelsey was very responsive (on a holiday weekend no less) to get the propane filled! There was plenty to do in the Moosehead Lake area and most definitely could have spent more time here! Highly recommend!
