Somerset : locations de vacances avec petit déjeuner

Our first visit to Jane's tranquil cottage, and what a delight it was. The cottage is exactly as described and depicted in the photos, very thoughtfully furnished and decorated, and Jane has provided absolutely everything guests may require during their stay. The cottage was so warm, cosy and very welcoming. The very generous welcome goodies were much appreciated, thank you Jane! Our directions and arrival info were spot on, and it was really nice to have an earlier check-in and later check-out. We had planned to do more walking and exploring, but rain stopped play. However this gives us more reasons to visit Jane's cottage again in the near future. We would recommend Haynes Motor Museum and Yeovilton Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm Museum, both of which a half-hour away just outside of Yeovil.

Very clean, spacious apartment. Both bedrooms a great size. Considerate hosts who had thought of all needs, felt like we had our own undisturbed space. Would recommend!

Jane and Andrew were very helpful and flexible. The annexe was a great base to work from and for a dog walk. Great for a stopover en route to Cornwall, or to explore Somerset. Fresh free range eggs for breakfast were gorgeous!

La maison de Lyn est superbe, propre, joliment décorée, confortable et, somme toute, très accueillante. Il y a beaucoup de place et la maison est située pas loin du centre ville. Lyn est une hôte accueillante et attentionnée. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le petit déjeuner et sa gentillesse en général.

Jo's place is beautiful and cosy, with a big living area and kitchen that is shared by the other guests. We didn't see anyone else when we were there and had the space to ourselves, including the open fire. Jo is friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Would highly recommend and will definitely go again, perhaps with family and/or friends next time as there are four rooms.

Wow! What can I say!!! Let’s start with my dad always has a negative thing to say and he LOVED this place! My kids had their own room and my daughter loved the dining room with the books and the door to make it private! I loved the home aspect of it. We have been traveling now for a few years and this really felt like somewhere we could stay for more than a week. The eggs bread milk and cider where such a bonus that made our arrival less stressful as we have a toddler. I saw the baby gates and baby items. Such a pro if traveling with littles. I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the fire pit and game room. My daughter and dad woke up early just to play ping-pong before we left. Thank you again Mary & Sophie. Next time we come to England we will be coming back ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Rie’s Retreat is magical. I, how the retreat for 10 women here, and it was idyllic. Her home is spacious, beautiful, peaceful and full of space to reflect and connect, including the most beautiful gardens with dozens of different flowers growing. Her space is filled with positive energy, you can feel the healing powers on the land. And Rie is incredible! First, she is so friendly, personable, and fun! She is also so helpful about everything you need, whether it’s recommendations for activities, or transportation or grocery shopping. She is also an incredible chef, and I highly recommend having her cook your meals for you, as she will make you feel so well fed, pampered, and taken care of. Her meals are healthy and delicious! Even her healthy continental breakfast and snacks are amazing! We all loved the space and the beauty. It’s so close to town and to all Glastonbury sites. I will definitely bring groups of women back here, as Rie is now a friend and sister to us all.

This apartment is amazing and you will love your stay -here are some tips that might help 😊 At the apartment: 🪟The rooms have blinds behind the curtains -useful for kids. 🧯Incense or sage burning must use the bowl on top of the fireplace (obvious safety) & by opening the patio doors or the fire alarm will activate. The living room sensor deactivates by pushing the central button with the long stick by the entrance. The hallway’s one stops if aired with a cushion & by opening the bathroom window (air flow). 👩‍🍳When cooking, opening the kitchen window avoids the above. 🕉️ Mediate in the patio -it’s a truly magical place. In town: 🛒Co-op on the high street is convenient but expensive. However, if you leave the apartment and turn right into St Mary’s Walk, there’s a large Morrisons. 🥩If you turn left, the butchers next to the Crown pub has amazing meat at great £ Must visit: 🛐St Magdalene’s chapel 💞White Spring Temple (Yang) ☯️Challice Well (Ying) May your stay be as blessed a ours was! 🙏🏼

We stayed at Mary’s annex whilst visiting chard equestrian and it was absolutely perfect for what we wanted, exactly how described, had everything we needed perfect location and Mary was very friendly!!

Really helpful - we arrived late after a breakdown, and we were welcomed in, shown where to store our bikes, and given recommendations to eat and a lift into town!

I stayed at Sarah’s’ Airbnb for a month whilst on placement in Shepton. The Airbnb was spacious and had all the amenities needed for a long stay. Sarah’s instructions were clear for arrival and she even had some pastries and milk in the fridge to help me get started. It was nice having a clear parking space and you definitely feel like you have your own privacy. I would recommend this Airbnb to anyone that is looking for a long or short stay in the area.

Jane was a lovely friendly lady to stay with, and I would certainly stay again. The main downside was the parking for my car. I also wish she had put in her description that the flat is on the top floor. People who find it hard to climb stairs would have difficulty.

It was the second time I’ve stayed at Carla’s place and I think that says everything! Really great host and homely feel to the guest suite, plus a super comfy bed. The location is easy to find, and the welcome folder of local restaurants and things to do is really helpful for visitors wanting to explore the area. I’m sure I’ll be back next time I’m in the area, either for work or a holiday. Thanks again, Carla!

We had a lovely stay at David's place. It was warm and comfortable, and the centre of Glastonbury was easily walkable. The breakfasts were fantastic!

Good communication with Jon before our stay. Lovely property in a very peaceful location. Large room with comfortable bed & private bathroom facilities. Jon was the perfect host & very generous with his time. Breakfast was very good. We ate at the Firehouse, which is a short drive away & does very good pizza. Would recommend & would stay here again.

The Bothy is an incredible find in the Wiltshire countryside. The room was lovely, the host put the heating on before we arrived and left tea and coffee plus fruit for the next morning. The view is incredible and we rested really well. Tranquility and a lovely home! The breakfasts were amazing and the communication with the host perfect. We will visit again! Great location, great say and 5* review. Thank you!

Great Stay at Dianas place, very easy going and a simple place to stay, if you are looking for something simple yet so comfortable place to stay in then it is for you . Diana was very friendly Host. Thank you Diana 🫶🏻

Ian and Wilma were the perfect hosts, the house was spotless and quite beautiful. We have no complaints whatsoever, thank you both, oh and the Lobster Pot in Portland was spot on.

My partner and I had a fantastic stay at The Potting Shed in Shapwick. It was great to meet the hosts and their two dogs 😀 The hosts were incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and very accommodating. They always checked in with us and went above and beyond to make our experience as enjoyable and convenient. The space itself was cosy and well-equipped, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The surrounding area was peaceful and convenient, with beautiful countryside walks and surrounding parks. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience - highly recommended!
