Marie’s apartment and island of paradise was a nice retreat after a long day in the boatyard. And she’s a great host. Feels more like a friend!! Highly recommend. Though, I will say, if you have mobility issues, this is not the place for you. The second floor is more of a loft with a ladder like stair system and there’s a low bridge getting into the shower/bathroom. Otherwise, wide open. And it is a very secure place in a truly Mexican part of town.

This was a wonderful trip! So exciting to be in the "real" Mexico. We seemed to be the only gringos in town except for a handful of people who have houses there. The casita was right on the beach with a spectacular view of the Sea of Cortez. Sunsets were amazing, but it was all beautiful 24/7. Hammock was perfect. Food was fantastic. Don't miss the fresh shrimp cooked in chipotle cream at the Brisa del Mar, two houses down. You can even get there by walking on the beach! The beach is miles long and the quantity and variety of shells that washed up each day were amazing. The casita was homey with everything we needed. Plenty of big towels and my favorite kind of beach chair recliners too. Kris and Don were awesome hosts. So friendly, helpful and immediately responsive. Great to be able to walk out onto the beach at all hours to swim in the warm water and watch the pelicans dive. I don't know when I've been so relaxed on a vacation. Thank you Kris and Don!!!

Very helpful host. Would stay here again! Private parking was great. Lots of activities and the beach was walking distance. Highly recommend

El alojamiento superó con creces las expectativas! Las fotos coinciden lo que encuentras pero realmente es todo mas grande y super super limpio. Israel fue muy amable permitiéndonos una salida flexible ya que tuvimos un imprevisto y le pedimos ducharnos después de haber dejado el alojamiento. Estamos realizando un viaje de 2 semanas por baja california y he de decir que es de las camas más cómodas en las que hemos dormido. El alojamiento se encuentra en una zona algo apartada pero muy tranquila. Israel mantuvo una comunicación fluida y accesible en todo momento. Hemos quedado encantados! Recomendaría este alojamiento sin duda.

We had to cancel at the very last minute because our pet was ill. So we did not ever set foot in this rental. Now even sure why I can do a review other than maybe because I paid for the space and was not refunded. I did want to let others know that a short while before check-in I was sent rules and there were many. One of the rules said the air conditioner could not be set lower than 30 degrees Celsius. That’s 86 degrees Fahrenheit and very hot for us. We would have looked for another rental if this information had been shared on their listing page. So, I herd may want to see a list of all the rules before agreeing to rent.

Rogelio’s a great host and his place was so cozy and welcoming. I would definitely recommend. We plan on booking again soon!

We discovered this hidden gem in Etchojoa during our Mexico road trip. Gracia and her son greeted us when we arrived and we immediately felt welcomed. The suite is clean, well appointed and included cold water in the fridge and even a few snacks. The bed is very comfortable. The bathroom is very clean and modern. AC works perfectly. We were exhausted from a long travel day and they suggested a local cafe for dinner and even called for delivery. This was so appreciated! The outdoor garden and landscaping is beautiful. The pool was refreshing and clean. In the morning, Gracia treated us to some homemade frijoles. So generous! The hosts are super generous, thoughtful and kind. We would definitely recommend staying here and we look forward to returning again. Muchos gracias Gracia! 🙏🇲🇽❤️

We enjoyed a most pleasant stay at Pete & Marilyn's suite. It is so well furnished. Loved the decor! One of a kind! Thanks for that very comfy bed. Hosts are very friendly and hospitable. NO bad days in Puerto Penasco.!
