i had a really lovely week at this sweet and cozy place! felt comfortable and home from the first moment i entered. very easy accessible and just a short walk from the beach or the restaurants. definitely gonna come back next time i am around!

After week's of travel in Botswana with our 10 year old girls, Chris's bungalow and space was a mini oasis for our visit to Cape Town. The glorious setting, fabulous antiques, art, excellent kitchen, outdoor showers, wood-fired hot tub and having a million places to perch and just relax was near perfection. We were also so grateful to Chris for stocking the place with fresh fruit and other fabulous supplies that we didn't even really need to go out for food for a few days. We would recommend any of Chris's spaces to anyone who wants a home away from home with extra care, beauty and elegance.

Wow, what a find and where to start! From the check in to check out Karen and Gary made us feel very welcome. The cottage is located in a truly stunning place with a view that can not be explained but has to be experienced first hand. The cottage itself is very large with enough space to go around, both in- and outside. It's withing walking distance to swim in the Indian ocean and a couple of minutes drive to "downtown" Simon's Town. We found Berthas one of our favorite restaurants but there are many good oprtions. Another couple of minutes drive and you're at the Harbour Bay Mall where you find everyting you may need for a self catered stay. The cottage has a nice Braai area by the pool in the back and a great terrace to sit by at the front letting you have a sundowner as you take in the view. Karen and Gary: thank you for making our 11 days in Cape Town a memory we will treasure for life.

We had a brilliant stay at this gorgeous property. It had beautiful views and is very convenient for the beach and city. We would definitely stay again. Host was super!

Fantastic beach side location with glorious sunset views in private cul desac. Walkable to the restaurants of Camps Bay.

The place was as described. Beautiful property set on the beach with restaurants within walking distance. Would highly recommend this place if you are looking to relax and unwind. You don't need a noise canceller, just crack the window and listen to the ocean waves! Thanks for allowing us to share your wonderful space!

It was an idyllic stay: house and garden beautiful, with easy walking access to beach, mountain walks and charming town and coffee shops. If we had a problem, hosts were friendly and immediately responsive. I’d come back in a heart-beat. It was likely the last vacation I’ll have with my 90 year old mother, and we’ll treasure the memory of this lovely welcoming place forever.

Wonderful beach front property. We utilized all the spaces and amenities. This house was one of the highlights of our South African trip. Hope we can come back to visit again.

The place exceeded our expectation. Everything was neat and clean. It was a wonderful place to stay, safe and secure. Wouldn't think twice about booking again.

This is a very convenient place and is walkable (20 mins) to shops and restaurants. This place offers good value and with a kitchen including basics and utensils which works well if you like to self cater as well as eat out. The host is responsive and helpful. We enjoyed our time here.

Eine Woche im Paradies, wir haben es von morgens beim Sonnenaufgang bis abends mit dem Blick in die Sterne genossen! Ausserdem haben wir den 17 jährigen Ninja, einen Jack Russell Terrier kennen lernen dürfen. So ein schlaues liebes Hundl. Schwimmen im hauseigenen Pool und auch im 5 Minuten entfernten Naturpool war absolut super. Es ist wirklich alles so, wie abgebildet und beschrieben! Wir waren sicher nicht zum letzten Mal dort.

We loved our 2 night stay at KarMichael Farm. The Rose Cottage was beautifully appointed and very comfortable. The views were so beautiful overlooking the farm. The heated blankets on the beds were fantastic as it was very chilly at night. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a place to stay in Himeville - it’s very close to the Glencairn Wedding venue too.

What a wonderful experience! The cottage was so homely and peaceful, beautifully designed and thoughtfully laid out. You can definitely see the artist’s touch in Zelda’s work. She was a fantastic host and very helpful. The cottage is well-equipped and conveniently located near everything in Onrus. We will definitely visit again. Thank you, Zelda!
