One of the best Airbnbs we‘re ever stayed in. Stylish, spotlessly clean and well-equipped studio with a super comfortable bed. We enjoyed hanging out by the pool on a hot day and exploring the area by car. Spier Wine Farm and the Jonkershoek Nature Reserve (20 min drive) were highlights or the trip.

Booked Byron’s place for my sister and niece for the niece’s graduation and to enjoy the Capetown sights. Byron was very friendly, and they loved their stay there.

What a beautiful location! The unit is just a short walk away from the Keurbooms river lagoon, and we took full advantage of the fact. We spent our sunsets snuggled by the river, we walked along the beach and the estuary, and we kayaked across the river to get breakfast. The unit itself was spotless. Very well-kept, and with amenities like beach towels, toiletries, tea, coffee, etc. Our week was packed with activities and it was always nice to come home to the unit. The shower was amazing, and the bed was comfortable. Lindsay was an excellent host, showing us around and answering all of our questions during check-in. She was responsive over text and she texted us to let us know about events in the area, load-shedding schedules, etc, but otherwise gave us space and complete privacy, which we really appreciated.

This was a really comfortable and lovely stay! It’s a stones throw away from several restaurants, and a 15 minute walk to the beach! Thanks Carolyn for your hospitality! We will surely be booking again.

The name Ons Huisie is perfect as it really felt like home away from home... We will definitely be back when we make a trip out to that side again. I will absolutely recommend Ons Huisie to family and friends.

We just love staying at Slumbering Shell. Pieter and Karin are always so accommodating and friendly. The accommodation is always in pristine condition. One of the best "home away from home" experiences ever. We checked our children, visiting SA into MME's. They felt safe and cared for and found the hospitality exceptional. We can highly recommend this accommodation as a place guests will find clean, modern and luxurious accommodation with friendly and generous treatment of guests.

The host is extremely kind and accommodating of his guests. The surrounding area is safe and peaceful, negatives were that the place was smaller than depicted and the sliding door leading to the small garden area was not accessible to guests.
