first things first we had a mixed time here but pravin the chef here is magician with the food and amazing human being east to talk to n took care of us, Manoj the other staff that worked was always on his toes any time we needed him so big cheers to the staff here . the host is fairly responsive and so on aswell I have had few issue but I have picked that with the host rest it's all happy memories from this place

It was a pleasent stay at Viinod and Beena's place. Me and my wife liked it a lot. The host were very helpful. The walk to the river was very nice and we spent quite some time there at the river till sunset, which felt peaceful and beautiful.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here and my daughters were excited to have their own little house! It was well set up with a restaurant across the road for breakfast, lunch or dinner, and also packed breakfast for the safari if needed. The hosts were very friendly and showed us lots of birds and animals in the lush garden. They also shared badminton nets and cricket bats for our daughters to play and put up big hammocks to relax in. They were able to arrange everything such as the safari tour, a trip to the local Buddhist temple and to see a colony of fruit bats, and a car to our next destination. I’d recommend going for the 6 hour safari as you can go a bit further into the park and not be around as many jeeps. We saw elephants, mongoose, monitor lizards, the giant Sri Lankan squirrel, crocodiles, wallowing buffalo and 20+ kinds of birds. Recommended as a place to stay near the safari park entrance.

The place was as described. Interiors had interesting nooks and was quite comfortable. Approach to the place has a slight complication with the big car to small car switch, but enough advice and support was provided to overcome it. Neighbourhood’s alright, just make sure you are good to walk up inclines and flights of stairs if you are exploring it on foot (we had elderly folks with us, they struggled a fair bit). Of course, what made the place stand out was Kaushal and his Team of Kapil and Raju. Very accommodating and friendly, and quick to help resolve a query or requirement. Even the people they recommend to you (cab drivers and such) were extremely kind and helpful, which just goes to show that they do care about your experience beyond their villa. Overall a very satisfying stay, and would be happy to recommend Forktail to others.

My friends and I recently spent a night at Kamp Kamouflage Kanha and had a wonderful experience. The farm stay is like a green living jungle, surrounded by lush greenery and a serene atmosphere that immediately helped us relax. The accommodation is extremely comfortable, with the right balance of rustic charm and modern convenience. After a long day, we enjoyed chatting late into the night, soaking in the tranquility of the surroundings. The hospitality of the staff was truly top-notch—everyone was warm, and attentive, and made sure all our needs were met with a smile. In the morning, we were treated to a delightful breakfast, which perfectly complemented our relaxing stay. The combination of fresh, locally sourced ingredients and a hearty meal was delightful.  We left feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. If you're looking for a peaceful escape in nature with great hospitality, Kamp Kamouflage Kanha is a wonderful getaway!

Such a special and memorable place. I will remember the sounds of the jungle at night most of all! We did the river excursions, floating breakfast and elephant safari all of which were amazing. Delicious food too!

The property is just awesome..! Exclusive place to get out of city chaos and relax mind ..spend time with friends,family self and in the lap of nature lot of books to read in from the house collection & sleep hearing sounds of waves. The cherry on the top is the Food they serve which has homely authentic regional flavours and taste -5* Pratibha &Vijaya are always helpful and great chef. Great place for kids too to hv fun playing games.

Skandavan is a great place for travellers seeking some distance from the buzz of auroville. We stayed for 10 days and would have stayed longer had it not been booked. The room has a beautiful color scheme and the dome is a unique feature. It is a good idea to rent a scooter upon arrival, since it is far from the road, the hosts are ready to assist in that. It feels secluded and in the forest, which of course comes with some mosquitoes. It also feels a bit dark in the winter under the large bamboo bushes. The common kitchen has very basic equipment, bring coffee making equipment. The nearby botanical garden offers delicious lunch on weekdays. There is fast wifi in the common room, it does not reach the cabin unfortunately, airtel struggles too. We had a wonderful and peaceful stay and look forward to our next visit. We highly recommend staying at pranathi’s farm. The experience there was magical and special, inspiring us deeply. The unique architectural style, delicious and healthy food, and the surrounding nature all came together to create a one-of-a-kind experience. Pranathi was attentive to all our needs and made us feel at home. It is perfect for ones who want a quiet place that is close to nature.

We planned a trip to Bolpur to experience "poush mela" and stumbled upon Arunima's listing. It's a beautiful place! better than the pictures! so serene and peaceful. Will definitely come back whenever we are visiting Bolpur. Thank you for hosting us.

I really liked the location of this place. It's 20 kms before main Manali market etc so if you're goal is to see Manali then this might be a bit far unless you have your own car. We weren't really interested in Mall road and our main goal was to drive to Atal tunnel and Keylong the next morning. So for a night's stay it was perfect. Surrounded by lots of green I liked the quiet ambience here. I am not sure how the other rooms were but we booked a villa that had a hall and 1 bedroom downstairs and 1 on the first floor. Both rooms had attached bathrooms. The campus also had some random swings that gave us 5 mins of adventure lol. Food taste was decent (some may not like it but if you're not a food drama queen you'll survive) P.S. For those worried by the word "Satvika" in the name - they do have non veg food :)

Positives 1. The property is very well maintained, serene and peaceful, a perfect weekend getaway 2. I loved the individual choices of a few items in the room, specially the first floor of Villa 1 3. Accessibility is brilliant with ample car parking facility and very spacious 4. My family and my pet enjoyed thoroughly walking on the grass lawn 5. Generator and power back up was quite nice Possible things to improve 1. While I understand the rationale of employing natives it is pertinent they understand Bengali quite clearly. 2. There was no TV in either of the rooms in Villa 1 3. Flexibility ( may be due to seasonality ) was quite low on the food menu 4. An Intercom facility would be great to have considering the charges.

The place is awesome exactly as shown in the pics. It’s not the place which made our stay amazing, it was the care taker Sivadas who made it memorable. Shivadas is one awesome proactive care taker available 24/7 for any help. Shivadas and wife Lata have excellent culinary skills you don’t have to find any restaurant for any food. From mutton to dosa everything was finger lickingly tasty. This will be our go to place in Ooty. Thank you Nisha and team!!

Well how do I start this off... we had the greatest ever experience here with a top host named Rukmal. The hospitality provided was out of this world along with the food provided. If you are looking for a safari adventure like we was you are in great hands with Rukmal. He certainly knew his stuff well living in the wildlife for many years he filled us with great knowledge and inspiration. I’d highly recommend hiring out his clay hut for the night and perusing on to the beautiful safari only a few minutes away. We’d like to finish off by saying thank you so much and we’d love to book a camping stay out with you in the near future. Massive big ups to your fine self and let’s keep in touch! Tenzin is an extremely warm and amazing host. He has amazing clarity of thought and has some amazing stories and worldview to share. He would go out of his way to make us feel comfortable. The place is very beautiful, well maintained and cozy. The food is homely and very tasty. Would recommend without doubt and would love to revisit again.

Sangay and Karma are great hosts. They take only one group at a time so we (me nd my partner) had the place to ourselves. You can requests the hosts for meal (for a very nominal price) incase you cant head out. The place looks exactly like in pictures and you will have a cozy feeling. The studio has a good vibe. Books to read and art of other students can be seen and enjoyed. Pets on the property are a great bonus.

Ashish does not only make honor to the “super host” term, he’s also a super human. He is one of the kindest people you will ever meet. I was traveling for a wedding and he even helped me get there on his motorcycle. I also had some issues with the drive back to the airbnb, and ended up calling him really late at night, and he was happy to help. He is just amazing. He is also so knowledgeable about the surroundings, and recommended a hike nearby, which ended up being one of the most beautiful sunset hikes of my life. The place is amazing, just like described in the pictures. I cannot recommend enough this place. Ashish you truly embody the well-known Nepali warmth and hospitality. Thank you so much!

Staying here was an absolute dream! The house was not only beautiful and peaceful but also the perfect place to slow down and acclimatize to the high altitude. Angtak and Catherine are the most loving and welcoming hosts, making me feel right at home. Their passion for sustainable textiles and the workshops they offer provided a deeper understanding of the rich Ladakhi culture, which was truly inspiring. The surrounding beauty and the warmth of this place made my stay unforgettable. I feel so lucky to have found this gem and can’t wait to return!

The stay is amazing. The view from our room is surreal. You will be able to enjoy snow covered peaks and stars from the rooftop. Padma aunty made delicious home cooked food for us. Aman is a very responsive host. He also gave us great tips on the route to the location. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

I had a wonderful stay at this small paradise! Its ultimate peace! you only hear birds singing, there are wild parrots flying around in that beautiful nature. The hospitality was super nice I was totally feeling at home. The building itself is a very cozy space with nice furnitures. The host is super friendly and helpful. Our stay at North was truly special. The cabin we stayed in was built with love and felt like a museum in itself, showcasing traditional craftsmanship and a deep connection to the local culture. The hospitality was exceptional, and we were welcomed with warmth. The food was simple and authentic giving us a true taste of Himachali flavors. Very naturalistic place surrounded with mountains, river, paddy fields, lots of birds, beauty views of sunrise and sunset. 45 mins drive to Hampi attractions. Had some maintenance issues but were addressed timely by both Host and Co-Host as soon as they were reported. Overall it was a good experience.

I had a great time at Mitti Ghar. The place is beautiful, well maintained, full of surprises and is situated at a nice and cosy spot. Taha, the host was cooperative and made sure that I had a comfortable stay. Would recommend it to anyone who’s seeking a place to stay in Bir!
