Had the most amazing stay here! The pod has everything you need for making small snacks/drinks. The surroundings were beautiful and it was so peaceful with the added bonus of the hot tub! So much nature around too which makes it feel that little bit more special. Would return again, thanks :)

Everything as described, had an amazing time so peaceful and relaxing and if in need of anything hosts were on hand very responsive. Owners son Josh helped us out with something was a nice guy very helpful nothing too much trouble. We will be returning in the near future highly recommend to anyone who wants nice relaxing retreat away from everyday life madness

The lodge was absolutely gorgeous, cosy and clean. Very communicative hosts and really straight forward process checking both in and out. Loads of utensils and amenities available to use which is not always guaranteed in a self catering stay! Thank you so much, it was lovely ⭐️

The place is very clean, exactly as described. The shared bathrooms were also always clean and functional. We would definitely come back.

My husband and I were looking for a couple of days of peace and quiet and some relaxation, away from everyday life madness and chaos. We couldn’t have chosen a more tranquil location. Darren and Sinead’s lodge was the perfect setting, picturesque views of fields and farm animals and at night, that blackest skies you could ever see. The hot tub made relaxation even better!! Even when the rain was pouring down, we were still in there enjoying ourselves! The interior of the lodge was beautiful, very cosy and calming. The lodge had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable, towels, bathrobes and WiFi to name a few. We would definitely recommend to family and friends and we will definitely be back at some point ⭐️

Had a fantastic few days stay in this beautiful caravan. Lindsay was very responsive to our questions and all the little things she left for us was just nice. Will definitely recommend this place to anyone. Brilliant host xx

Lovely private wee lodge in a super peaceful area. Had everything I needed for my two nights there. Bed was enormous and sooo comfy! The wee decking area was a lovely spot for breakfast in the sun in the morning! Katherine and Adam were so lovely and incredibly communicative, always there if you need anything at all. I’d recommend this place 100% and would definitely stay here again:)

This is the greatest place on earth. I couldn't begin to describe the level of beauty, tranquility and peace that we indulged in while at the Dark Sky Retreat. The sounds of birds, the wind rustling through the trees, the smells of the country were just the most perfect setting imagineable, and DON'T GET ME STARTED on those STARS oh my DAYS. We will be back in the summer no doubt! Emma & Rob were fantastic hosts, showing us how everything worked and always quick to respond to anything we needed, they're both wonderful individuals living an idyllic life comparable to (the only thing i could think of) a hobbit in the shire. We've came away knowing that we want to return to the life as soon as possible! Thank you so much for what you've given us just by letting us be within the space.
