Janice was very helpful from the start to finish of our stay. We expected to spend almost all our time in Three Oaks, but the surrounding towns were easy and quick to get to and offered lots of fun things to do. The house is very comfortable and quiet. Three Oaks is a lovely town. Froelich's and Journeyman were our favorites for food and drink.

We came to hike and the River Trail did not dissapoint! The house was nice and clean and comfy. The location is good and close to a number of places to eat and explore.

The home was very easy to find, and was in a little neighborhood. The house was very clean and had a very relaxed atmosphere. Atmosphere Kate was responsive to all of my requests and made it very easy to check in

Was an absolutely relaxing stay. It was exactly what my husband and I were looking for. An extended weekend away with a bunch of things around us to do. It had a little bit of everything around us, including privacy. It was fantastic.

I surprised my 9-Year-Old daughter with a mommy daughter overnight to Patti's cozy cabin. We were greeted by Dale the mule and Red the horse right away much to my daughter's surprise and excitement. This tiny cabin was the perfect place for us to read and color and spend time together, enjoying a quiet getaway. Giving horses the treats was a highlight for sure, the stars were beautiful at night and we didn't have time to make a fire but would have really enjoyed that setup as well. Patti was so kind and helpful and the cabin has been made into such a beautiful respite, cozy indeed! Loved this stay and not far from great restaurants in Michigan City and a beautiful sunset over the lake! We would love to return!

Loved staying at this cozy cottage over the winter! So much to do in Harbor County and great recs from Carla! Great host and will definitely be back!

We had the most wonderful Valentine's weekend getaway at Sarah and Michael's place! We were even greeted with some chocolates and a card to set the mood for the weekend! The house was very well-kept and cozy! My kid-at-heart husband loved the basketball game in the basement and was determined to beat his high score throughout our stay. We loved the charming atmosphere and amazing acoustics of the Acorn theater and we met Colm Keegan former Celtic Thunder singer, one of our favorite groups! We were disappointed we didn't have enough time to explore the bells and whistles of the kitchen appliances which were a chef's dream! But we did enjoy baking cookies! In between activities we challenged ourselves to the 1000-piece Hawaii puzzle. The mudroom was the perfect place to unwrap ourselves after walking around in the snowy neighborhood. All around amazing stay and can't think of a more fitting place to stay for Valentine's than the Heartwood House!

"The Box" was comfy, cozy, as advertised, easy to get to, and situated on a beautiful lake (which connects to a couple other lakes). John, the host, was friendly, helpful, and responsive. We had no issues whatsoever with our stay. We had a great time!

My family has been here before and it was during the summer and we loved it sooo much that we came back but this time it’s during spring, we definitely prefer going during the summer but we love this place so much!!! My kids love it ❤️ we loved using the grill and the paddle boats. Would definitely suggest it for families!
