The place was perfect for a get-away for the family but what sealed the deal was they are pet friendly. The place has a rustic charm and it felt good to be away from the noise of the city and enjoy the quiet farm life. The kids enjoyed the pool and the dogs enjoyed exploring the surroundings. However they are far from supermarkets so it is advisable that you bring anything you might need. Kuya Jong the caretaker is also very helpful and is always around to assist. Phoebe is always very responsive to queries as well and even tried to help us by reviewing CCTV footage when we thought we lost our dog. All-in-all if you want a charming place to stay for solitude this is highly recommended.

Magical stay, the hosts immerse you into Thai culture and nature starting with the ex-governor’s traditional house, interactions with farm animals and beautiful jungle surrounding. David and Nim were super helpful arranging sea kayaking and island hopping for us with the best guides at very reasonable rates. We enjoyed every minute spent at the Ecovilla :) Thank you!!!

Miss Jocelyn and Joy are topnotch hosts. It's heartwarming to have hosts check up on you and ask you if everything is up to your standards. Cozy bungalow made our Ilocos tour even more memorable. It's near Calle Crisologo, Baluarte, Paoay, etc. The place is sooo clean! It is really a home away from home. If my family and I will be back again in Ilocos, will surely come back to this place. I spent 2 weeks at the villa and it was truly positive experience. Made and his family are great hosts, responsive, generous and helpful. The villa is spacious, surrounded by tranquil rice fields, with a 360 degree view from upper floor; you can see a lot of birds, and I water turtles. I loved the long work desk with this view. The place is spotlessly clean; Made arranges a full clean every 3-4 days. There was an indoor as well as outdoor kitchen. The bathrooms & kitchen equipment is a bit "tired" from use (this is typical for Ubud villas I've stayed at), but clean and functional. There are a few warungs (cafes), coffee & massage places 5 min walk away,. A busy & traffic heavy main street is 15' walk, about 1/2 of which is small, narrow road not well lit that can only be reached by foot or bike, so I didn't like walking at night or in heavy rains. Wie haben die Zeit bei Alastair & Nok sehr genossen. Die Unterkunft ist wunderschön und dadurch, dass diese etwas außerhalb von Chiang Mai liegt, super geeignet für alle jene die sich nach etwas Ruhe sehnen.

I stayed here in 2020 and fell in love with the place. It is a great place to stay if you want to have some peace and quiet and get in touch with nature. Huge plus for the gym and the lap pool. Customer service is top notch! I will keep coming back.

I'm really happy I chose Wayan’s Place for my last two days in Bali. Staying in this local area has been awesome for experiencing the real Balinese culture and enjoying nature! Love the breakfast here, it was prepared with heart. Nice conversation with wayan about the jungle garden. I just wish I could stay longer!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Farm of Joy! Lowela is such an amazing host so welcoming and accommodating. The place is surrounded by beautiful nature, which made it so peaceful and relaxing. It’s the perfect spot if you want to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Weng and Alvin were incredible as well they assisted us the entire time and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The farm itself is serene, and waking up to the sound of birds and fresh air was such a treat. We felt so at peace during our stay, and it’s definitely a place where you can just unwind and enjoy the beauty of nature. We’ll for sure come back the next time we’re in town. Highly recommend this hidden gem!

this was our 2nd time to stay at VC farm. It has many rooms and beds so it can accommodate big group/family. the surroundings is very nice, lots of trees and plants so the place is naturally shady and cody. we enjoyed the infinity pool and the big terrace where we eat our breakfast with a very nice view. Ms.Rona is also responsive to our inquiries and the caretakers are very helpful. overall we really loved this place and we will come back again.

Shanty's villa was everything we wanted for our 3 night group stay. The view was beautiful, the breakfasts delicious and the one night we had a chef cook us dinner for 8 people (organised with Shanty) was spectacular! We also organised with Shanty, drivers to take us into Ubud and massages at the villa and both were done promptly.

Such a great find! The big pool was not heated but was always warm, with just the right depth for my small kids. Abigail was responsive and very easy to talk to. Pau and the other staff were friendly and always ready to assist. The villa is pretty, clean, and quaint; the surroundings peaceful and well-kept. The kids and kids-at-heart loved the rentable bikes and golf cart that we rode from the villa to the pool. We were lucky enough to have the place to ourselves during our stay. The place feels secluded yet accessible enough to have food delivered thru Grab. So convenient! Our kids were so sad to leave the place. We will definitely be back.

We had a nice stay, cozy beds, clean rooms and a lovely place in general.

Initially, I was heavily skeptical because the photo just looked too good and maybe the place wouldn't match the description. But I was extremely wrong. This place not only has a living space that completely blew me away with handcrafted furnitures, but everything is extremely well kept and clean, not to mention the amazing hospitality that we received from both K'Tum and Ed that makes us feel extremely welcomed with their souvenirs, complimentary drinks and breakfast. The best thing about this place is probably the kitchen because there really is every kitchen utensils or tools you need to cook for your family or loved ones, not to mention the vast amount of beautiful plates within the cabinets that elevated our Valentine's date even more. We are extremely delighted to have found, stayed, and enjoyed Rumor has it and will probably come back again in the near future!

The Megananda Team made our stay wonderful, the view out of the villa was amazing! The location was perfect because it was near Ubud (30 Min by car) but also near famous sights like the Ceking Rice terraces (15 Min by car). You can take a grab or use the provided car service. There is also a free shuttle to Ubud everyday. The breakfast was delicious, the staff friendly and helpful. The refrigerator in the room was a little bit too loud and some of the furniture (like f. ex. the mirror in the bathroom) should be exchanged because they look a little bit used.

Our family loved our stay at this place. Everything is clean and all of the things you might need are here, just bring your food and things so you can enjoy. The view is also magnificent. We also loved it more with the pool The caretakers are also approachable and responsive.

Yuli and Daniel have the most gorgeous space at Rumah Laplapan and it felt like such a breath of fresh air once we arrived. The views, the ducks, the peace, it's truly something you can't put a price on. As Bali tourism increases, finding hidden gems like this where you can truly escape the noise is so rare. We appreciated the kindness and care of Yuli, Wayan, and Daniel at every step and highly recommend this place as a week-long escape or romantic couple's getaway for a seasoned traveler. And don't miss out on the Crispy Chicken Waffle at Mango Cafe across the street! 5-star stay all around! We'll be back!

the place was good,nothing to complain.

The place was perfect for our Christmas getaway… we were 10 adults and one child with our puppy . Have enough space for every one of us. The common space has game tables and karaoke so it was a lot of great memories made there. The bedrooms were massive and very well kept. The outdoor area is so peaceful and relaxing. And the river next to the house is perfect for water activities and a cool swim. And the most important part are the people. Ms Adelfa, Nicole and the rest of the team are very friendly, polite and helpful. They were so intuitive and very mindful of what we needed. And the food that they prepared for us was so delicious with lots of options to choose from. We will definitely go back and we highly recommend this place
