South Eleuthera : locations de vacances en bord de mer

We had a wonderful time at the property – so secluded and close to the most beautiful beach – the dock was wonderful to just sit out and watch the sun set and the turtles swim by. The home was clean, and the pool was nice – this was just what the doctor ordered. Violet and Charles are very nice and always accommodating – great team.

The place is more than beautiful. The property is located on a beachfront lot. The beach itself is really serene, we’ve seen only 3 people on it over the 4 days we’be passed there…. And it was Christmas… The villa is spacious for our party of two and could ideally accomodate a family. You’ll have every accessories you need to spend 2-3 weeks vacation there. We wish we’d book for longer but decided to visit a couple of Bahamian islands on our 10 day visit. There are lots of good restaurants nearby but a car is really a must if you want to reabh them easily. We liked afternoon munches at Potlatch Club, dinners at Bougainvillea and, of course, relax snacks at Tippy’s. Barbara is a great host and did everything she could to accomodate our (belated by the airline company) arrival and departure. Her manager, Winifred, is also really pleasant to deal with and efficent. I definetly would go again and recommend the place.

La Round House è letteralmente meravigliosa, ricca di particolari e dettagli che la rendono accogliente e richiamano il mare, è circondata da natura incontaminata ma nonostante questo il proprietario è letteralmente a due passi per qualunque problema, vista mare bellissima con spiagge altrettanto belle raggiungibili a piedi ( franch bech e twins cove) . Consiglio di noleggiare un auto per visitare tutta l'isola che è paradisiaca ma se volete fare un vacanza di puro relax questa casa supererà qualunque aspettativa !

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tir Na N’og. The property was immaculate and on one of the best beaches we’ve ever seen. The kitchen, although small in size, was extremely well equipped for our group of 11 as we made most of our meals there. We also appreciated the amount of toys for our toddler as well as the pack n play, high chair, and a few beach toys. The snorkeling gear was also a great plus! The WiFi was pretty spotty (able to stream video periodically, but not entirely reliable). Daniel (the property manager), and Christine (the housekeeper) we’re attentive to our needs and a great plus to this property. Tir Na N’og is truly a hidden gem in Eleuthera and our family had an amazing time!

This was our first trip to Eleuthera. We wanted to explore central and south Eleuthera with a house away from crowds. Exploring and connecting with the location we travel to is always a priority to us. The Round House was perfect. We only ate out twice, using the kitchen (except oven) to prepare our meals. In the evenings we relaxed inside with all the windows open listening to the Atlantic and always comfortable with the breeze. The beautiful landscape around the house makes it so easy to fall completely into the island experience. We had a fantastic 7 night vacay. Taja and Doon helped make that happen. We enjoyed visiting with locals on the island. The absolute nicest people!

The beaches and water on the island are absolutely stunning. The road to the house is very badly maintained but the view from the house makes it all worth it! We should have read the guide that they sent us more carefully and realized that good organic, fresh food isn’t easy to find on this island. So you might want to bring a lot of stuff with you. Also everything is double the price on the island so you may want to plan ahead for that! But the water and beaches are just breathtaking!

We had an amazing stay at this beachfront property! The location is unbeatable, with stunning ocean views and just steps away from the sand. The house itself is beautifully decorated, clean, and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Waking up to the sound of waves and enjoying morning coffee was pure bliss. An unforgettable beach getaway!

This place was everything we could have hoped! It was just as described in the descriptions and pictures. A perfect vacation!!

I stayed at Cayo Loco with my partner and it was a 10/10 Airbnb experience. The beach house had everything we needed from sunscreen and bug spray to beach chairs and coolers. We loved hearing the waves crashing from our bed. The beach was very quiet and we saw only a few people during our time there. We wish we could have stayed longer, it really is a piece of paradise! I would absolutely recommend this for anyone, but it's perfect for a couple! We can't wait to return! Don't hesitate to book this one.

I could not have asked for a better place to stay in!! This was perfect for our little family with our 10 month old baby. The view was spectacular and it was so convenient walking down to the beach everyday with our girl! The kayaks supplied were so fun! My husband and I took turns while we watched the baby on the shore. Such a great location too! Felt super safe! Next to great restaurants (Tippy’s and La Bounganvillea). Hewitt the property manager on site was so sweet. And dealing with Pam was amazing. Her communication was impeccable and she was so patient with us and All our questions. The house itself was beautiful and so comfortable. Book it! You won’t find a better place or property management team!!!!

We had a wonderful stay with a lovely host. We traveled with an infant (9 months) and toddler (almost 3) and four adults. We found the house and location to be surprisingly kid friendly. Being able to step out onto the pool deck with an incredible view, or out to the beach 30 yards away, was so convenient. It was also very nice to be able to run back to the house for snacks, bottles, naps, etc., without having to pack up our car and drive back to the house. Hands down, the location is the most stunning place at which we’ve ever stayed. The beach is unparalleled and the house is within 5 minutes of great restaurants in Governor’s Harbour (Buccaneer’s is our favorite, and also very kid friendly). The house itself is charming and rustic, a true beach house. We loved the easy going vibe. We found the kitchen to be well-stocked, which we appreciated since we cooked in several nights. This is a great place to stay in a central location on Eleuthera. You are about 10 minutes drive from the best restaurants in Governors Harbour and it is about an hour drive north and south to the ends of the island. This is a clean home where I felt very secure and you can walk around the corner to see the sunset from the cliff upon which the neighborhood is located. If there is a downside, it is that you will 100% need a car (anywhere you stay on Eleuthera that is the case). It is big! It is not walkable (or safely walkable) to Governors but you are not going to find much that is unless you are staying directly in town. Use this hub location to enjoy the beauty of Eleuthera. Pink sand beaches within 15 minutes on the Atlantic side and gorgeous cream sand beaches with bonefish flats that are abundant on the Caribbean side. You will love your stay here and on this island once you get the hang of things in Eleuthera. And beyond this place - a 4 wheel drive is required!

Amazing trip. Perfect for our family of 6 plus two grandparents. Beach is amazing for families. Beach is essentially private and has areas for waves, a gentle pool area surrounded by rocks, and great snorkeling. The beach was so nice we hardly used the pool. Kitchen is very well stocked. Driving to town for food took about 15 minutes but worth the distance for the location. Would definitely go back if we get the chance.

The pictures don't do justice to this home (light and beautiful) and its surroundings (paradise). There should be one of the view from the deck directly down to the ocean! :) Architecture is stunning. Full on views of the beach and tropical vegetation from every side. Two different work spaces with desks and views out the back. Kitchen is a little small if you're having a big group, but for two it was terrific. Everything worked. Fans in all the rooms! Great shower with fabulous water pressure. Loved the simplicity of the decor and having the beach to ourselves. BE SURE TO READ THE INSTRUCTIONS (and maybe print them at home). VERY useful information. Contact Latoya for practical questions. She was able to get us a rental car when other companies said they had no vehicles left. Do get a 4WD. The high chassis is important for rutted roads if you go anywhere off the beaten track. We didn't plan to, but it happens! :)

Literally steps from the beach, as advertised, we found Rachel's place a perfect oasis for two couples looking to relax in stunning surroundings. The layout of the house is open and the feeling airy, yet it was easy for four of us to spread out into different nooks to read or work. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and user-friendly. There's a generous deck right off the house, and a lovely, partly shaded terrace halfway down to the shoreline. We had an amazing beach week, enjoying the gentle crash of waves 24/7 and the different views and terrains on our many shoreline walks as the tide went in and out. Rachel shared many recommendations before our trip which helped us make the most of our time on Eleuthera. The house is well stocked with games, snorkel equipment, cleaning supplies, towels, etc. We appreciated the quality of vacation reading material and noted the harmoniously arranged ocean blue spines of the books on the shelves!

I've been on the island many times the location of this house is actually amazing just 10 minutes from the central airport and 5 minutes to the best restaurants in town, the view of the water is just spectacular. Private Road real quiet and peaceful.

Words cannot describe this amazing find! We've been renting vacation homes twice a year for 20 years through VRBO and Airbnb, and this is the best appointed home we've stayed in. Every kitchen amenity you could ask for and some we didn't know we wanted but used. The view of the Caribbean Sea over coffee and breakfast on the covered porch was heavenly. Walk or drive across the street for the Atlantic sunrise on the deserted beach, snorkel and swim during the day, grill out for dinner and sit in plush lawn chairs for sunset over the Caribbean in the back yard. Then have a bonfire by the water before bed. Rent the SUV offered from owner. Go to the Island Market for fresh produce and fresh baked bread. Go the the fish market for fresh caught local seafood and get some stone crab. The locals are friendly and negotiable. We are so glad we decided to rent this home and we'll definitely be back again in 6 months.

Beautiful house in a beautiful location! If you are looking for a laid back, relaxing vacay, this is your spot. The house is brand new and beautiful, the beach is outstanding. You are very close to the Caribbean side of the island, if you prefer calmer waters. Laura was very responsive and the local managers were very helpful and welcoming. Tips- if you’ve never been to Eleuthera- know that it’s more rural and laid back. There are resorts but it’s not so commercialized (which was ideal for us). Many times we had the whole beach to ourselves. There’s an adventure built in- navigating the island, finding good food spots, etc. The locals are incredibly Friendly and helpful and will give great advice for places to go and things to do. When booking a car- really try to get an SUV. We were a little late to the game and got a car instead. It’s do-able but the roads can be a little rough and to get to most things you have to drive unpaved roads. Overall great trip!

Small piece of paradise. We enjoyed our stay at the cottage, would definitely recommend a car to have the freedom to move around in the island. Would definitely return in the future.

Je recommande à 100% Rosemary et Spencer sont très gentils et très accueillants, Il est venu nous chercher en haut de l’île a notre arrivée et nous a déposer a l’aéroport du sud de l’île le matin de notre départ, La voiture que Spencer nous a mise a disposition nous a était très utile, Le logement est très propre, calme, la vue est magnifique. La réalité est très conforme a la description, Je n’hésiterai pas a revenir, Merci pour l’accueil !
