South End, Halifax : locations de vacances adaptées aux familles

We had the pleasure to stay for the month of August. Great location overlooking a lake, just a short walk to a small quiet beach on the ocean. An old railway track converted to biking/walking path close by. Close to groceries and restaurants. Great location for day trips to Peggy’s cove/Halifax boardwalk/many parks and beaches. The home had everything you need. Just bring your swim trunks and spirit of adventure. We highly recommend a stay at this lovely spot.

Michelle's place was exactly what we expected. It even looked larger in real life vs. photos advertised. we loved the enclosed gazebo the hot tub was located in, the large kitchen table with oodles of seating, open floorplan and the small touches that made it feel aesthetically pleasing and cozy. we will be back sometime in the summer!

Marvellous start of our 5+ weeks Nova Scotia - Newfoundland tour. Lovely apartment with outstanding view located directly at the beach.

We came for the Hunter Moon and fell in love with the sunsets and walking on the beach. Lots of places to explore in the area.

My family really enjoyed our stay here! It was such a convenient location. The beds were very cozy and we felt completely at home.

Very clean, spacious and convenient condo in central Halifax, close to downtown and Dalhousie. Easy check-in, and all the amenities needed to make our stay comfortable, and the host responds quickly if you have questions or need anything. Highly recommended.

We stayed at Krista and Stephen's place for 2 months in the winter and it was fabulous! The house had so many wonderful amenities and the location was perfect. The dogs loved running around the yard and we were right beside a trail for wonderful morning walks. The sunset and sunrise views from the house are unbelievable. I'd highly recommend!

This place looked so beautiful and unique.. I really enjoyed spending the night here and the spot was perfect, bars and restaurants weren’t that far :) I’d recommend if you plan on staying close to downtown :)

This was a very nice place on the south end of Halifax. It was a quiet neighborhood and only a few minute walk to a large grocery store. Easy walk to downtown and Point Pleasant Park. The visit went seamlessly with Paul being responsive and accommodating.

My wife, friends and I had a great time in Nova Scotia and Candace's location was perfect for us.

We had a wonderful stay at Paul’s place. Lock boxes make entry and exit simple. The location is great with easy walking to many restaurants and bars, Pier 21, Maritime Museum and the harbourfront. The apartment was clean and comfortable as was the bed. Parking availability is a huge bonus. It was so convenient we just booked to stay again =-)

Barrie is a wonderful host and the location of this home is truly incredible. We had everything we needed, plus our own island! We hope to be back!

Outstanding host. Truly blown away by Gerry’s warm welcome to Halifax. Every day he offered assistance and advice, which was much needed and appreciated since we had never been to Nova Scotia before. His friendliness is genuine and heartwarming. And his place is totally fantastic. An unexpected bonus was 100% the best hot water pressure in a shower that I’ve ever experienced in my life. Highly highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay. The suite was well equipped and clean and in good condition. The location is very central and it really was easy to walk everywhere downtown. The temperature was comfortable and there were extra towels and blankets.

We always feel at home in Angela’s flat. Can’t think of a thing that has ever been lacking to make our visit completely comfortable. We love the neighbourhood which is remarkably quiet, especially considering how close it is to restaurants, public transit and downtown. Looking forward to our next stay!

This unit is spacious, clean, and well equipped. It is conveniently located along a bus route and next door to a restaurant that serves coffee, sandwiches, and hot food. The host is friendly and flexible. I would be happy to stay here again!

I cannot emphasize how comfortable and welcoming both Sammi and their AirBandB were. The attention to detail and genuine concern and thoughtfulness for their guests is remarkable. I so appreciated their prompt and gracious communications and commitment to make everything about the stay comfortable and easy: from keeping on top of snow clearing, to accommodating my request to ensure baby gates were installed. Truly outstanding.

I had a fantastic time at Catherine's place! She provided plenty of guidance on places to go, and each one was exceptional. She both met me when I arrived and said goodbye when leaving, and she made sure that I had everything I needed. I had to make a sudden last minute change to my booking and she was very accommodating. I would highly recommend staying here.

This was the perfect place to stay for a visit with my son at Dal. The apartment was cozy, clean, and nicely decorated. We felt right at home, which was exactly what I was looking for. It's convenient for getting around as there are bus stops right outside the door. I even took the bus to and from the airport - only $5 each way! It was also a very quick walk to the grocery store, coffee shop, and anything else you need. Great stay overall!

One of those rare times when a house described as "stunning" really lives up to it. John's house near Halifax is beautiful and serene, all windows and wood and incredible views out to the water in the cove and ocean beyond. Surrounded by trees and a garden path down to the dock, it feels private but not isolated. Great house on the inside also - spotlessly clean, streamlined so there's no clutter but everything you need, simple but quite beautiful also. Comfortable beds, great kitchen and bathrooms and just full of sunlight. Can't imagine a better spot to relax and recharge, and close to lots of good hiking. John is super friendly and responsive, a great host - look forward to coming back.
