We stayed over Christmas, including cooking the feast: the house had everything we needed, was warm, well-equipped and nicely furnished. Minor thing: I’m a big chap, and one of the three beds was, for my comfort, too short and much too soft (and creaky!) so I spent a couple of nights on the sofa sorting my back out (which was great and long enough for comfort!) but that was the only challenge: the rest of my family were very comfortable in their rooms and we had a truly great stay, really appreciated. Thank you!

Darren’s Place was immaculate, in a great location, and very well decorated. The house has great character, and some beautiful features, it’s got fun quirks and is super cool too. We used it as a location for my bridal party to get together and try on wedding and bridesmaids dresses. We then all cooked together in the huge kitchen and cozied up in the very comfortable living room and watched movies. The beds are super comfortable and we all got a great nights sleep. It was easy to find with plenty of parking and a quiet location that felt like you were out in the middle of the countryside. We are now discussing returning to Darren‘s house for a wedding crafting session in a few months time. Thank you for hosting us and we hope to be back again later in the year.

What a beautiful house. All the rooms have been finished to a very high standard. Very clean and beds were very comfy. The kitchen area had everything you needed. Would definitely recommend it. I will definitely be returning.

My family and I loved this place. So much of air bn'b is soulless, this feels like a home and is full of plants with a lovely little garden. It's in a great area too. The kitchen table is wonderful for a big dinner - there were 7 of us - and we were blessed with a gorgeous weekend so we sat in the garden. We would definitely go back.

The home is spectacular, a real jaw-dropper. It was well-equipped and a brilliant size. Perfect for our group of adults and dogs, with all the essentials covered! The location is brilliant, and we had all the space and functionality we could ever need. Our host was incredibly helpful, responsive, and generous and we hope we might be able to visit with them again!

I booked this place for my family and it was great! FabAccomodation were very polite and always responded quickly. They messaged us during the stay to ensure the family had everything needed. The house was modern, clean and spacious. I would definitely recommend this place and the host to others! 👍🏻😊

Just what was needed to break the monotony of winter. Gorgeous setting, so quiet and tranquil and enough to do should you want. House was as described , perfect location to explore Cotswolds area. Great recommendation for Thai takeaway on our arrival day given the lateness ! Excellent food. The wood fired hot tub was a wonderful addition and clear instructions on how to start the fire and the wood burner inside also . Definitely would visit again. Rob and James were excellent hosts. This is our second trip to Lower Mill and this trip was even better, Chris & Alex’s is lovely. It’s nicely tucked away so feels very private and ideally located for some of the longer boundary walks around the lakes. They are brilliant hosts and were incredibly responsive. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Excellent instructions to find the property. House was clean and comfortable. There was sufficient plates, cups, glasses, etc for the number of people stating in the house, plus a large pan for cooking. The children who were part of the group appreciated the toys on the property. The park was quiet and well maintained. We would definitely consider staying here again for a family get together

Great stay in a perfect, compact home-from-home. Great host, very accommodating and lots of communication in advance. Loved the added extras on arrival! Beautiful surroundings and loads to do here makes this the perfect place for a mini-break.

A beautiful little place, in a beautiful little spot. We found a cute welcome basket on the table with a welcome pack and snacks. It’s very clean and tidy, with lovely decor. A good selection of additional amenities; great selection of books & games! The hot tub was a fantastic addition too! The garden area was very secure, which was a relief as we had our dog with us - he loved the place too! Lots to do, not too far of a drive to get to so many different places! The hosts were lovely, welcoming us as we arrived & gave clear instructions on how to find the property. I would highly recommend this little hideaway, and will definitely book again if we come back to the area! Thank you Gemma & Roly! :)

Three friends in their 40’s away for a short weekend. Perfect place to catch up. Pool was wonderful to have. Pub a stones throw away. Easy to stroll around the country lanes and fields. Very clean in all rooms and kitchen well equipped for cooking. Jacqui was on hand whilst respecting our privacy. We would return.

I booked this 3 night stay to spend time with my family and our two Labradors for my 50th birthday. Victoria had ensured my 50 was well advertised and I felt very special with a lovely message and welcome pack. I really couldn’t ask for anywhere better!!!! The house had everything provided. Our water babies (dogs) made amazing lake walks very special. The swimming pool and facilities were lovely and clean and warm. We were extremely lucky to have sunny days for February and throughly enjoyed chilling out and making the best of the sunny front patio area watching the wildlife and taking in the peace and beauty ❤️ and thank you Victoria for your fabulous communication x

My second stay with Sandy and I loved this place again. If I did t already have someone I use regularly to stay with in Bristol, he would be my first choice. Very considerately for this stay Sandy had opened up for me and put the heating up (it was a very cold night!). This was lovely to arrive to after a long journey. It’s such a great place (see previous review) and I want to come back again asap.

Lovely weekend away in Bristol and a reunion for my wife and I with my adult 2 sons and their GFs while my daughter is studying at UoB and lived close by. Our dog came too! Good to be close to the Downs and walking distance to Clifton and Bristol City centre. The house was plenty big enough and has been nicely renovated. David, our host, was very helpful with all the admin and recommendations for nice places to eat, pubs and local amenities.

We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful house for a family and friends gathering for my bridal shower! We also had their cottages attached to the house. Home was beautifully kept, cozy and spotlessly clean. Bedrooms were comfortable and the garden gorgeous. Lovely surrounding area! Epitome of luxury perfect for a getaway. We’ll definitely be back and couldn’t recommend this place enough. On top of that the hosts are incredible, every query, checkin and out and anything we needed help with was answered promptly. They really went the extra mile to provide us with a memorable stay! Thank you so much 😊🥂

Stephen and Mel were great hosts. Very responsive to any message I sent. The lovely finishing touches were amazing. Milk. Marshmallow tea cakes and toiletries in the bathroom. Great place to stay, home from home. Lots of nearby locations to walk my dogs. Thanks for letting us stay so long.

We had a lovely few days staying at Henry’s place. We met friends their and found the kitchen and living spaces were great for us all to come together in as 2 families. The bedroom set up was great. Lovely location with some fantastic outside space and close to some great spots for us to head out to for the day. Thank you Henry for being a great host.
