The atmosphere, calmness and views were amazing! Loved the personal touches throughout from the art pieces to cozy pillows. It was very nice to look out the windows and view the lake and trees (and snow) in the sitting space. The heated floors there were an added bonus. My young adult son stayed in the lower level and felt very relaxed there as well. It is like the host thought of all of our needs! The kitchen was well stocked and all the added instructions (how to use the TV, adjusting the temperature, how to enter and checkout). The host even had the drive way shoveled for us on the day that it snowed. We enjoyed exploring the area. The roads to the house were easy to navigate. We shopped at the local country market and had a short drive to restaurants. We enjoyed several nearby nature spots (Glendale Falls, Keystone Arches, and Sanderson Brook Falls). Overall, our experience was nothing short of amazing. Highly recommend Loksze and the location and the property!

We had a wonderful time during our stay, it was a lovely cute space and we had everything we needed! Joshua was extraordinarily helpful when we got our car stuck in the snow, truly went above and beyond while being sincerely friendly, kind and patient. We will be returning when the opportunity arises.

Great spot - close to the little downtown area with a few restaurants and bars. Lots of room and Ginny was very responsive and clear in her communications. Would definitely stay here again.

Edison’s place was just what me and my friends and family needed for a weekend getaway. It was comfortable and accommodating for the 5 of us and Edison was very communicative. The only thing is to make sure you have a car with good tires as the roads to the house are dirt and very slippery when wet. Otherwise, it was very enjoyable and I would go again given the opportunity.

We had an excellent stay at Carol's place very comfortable. love the kitchen greatfor cooking!! plenty of supplies on hand was very helpful. neighborhoods very quiet at night. Carol is also very helpful in Booking us another night in one of her other homes in a pinch.

We had the best stay with our pups Peighton and Parkyr. We were a bit early and Patricia was so kind to allow an early check in. We were in such need of some downtime, and some winter skiing. We got exactly that. Patricia’s place was perfect for our Golden’s and us. Very cozy, extremely per friendly. We enjoyed a nice long walk on day 1 to begin our getaway. Then 2 perfect ski days and our pups never skipped a beat. I was happy to hear that they just chilled out and took on all the cottage had to offer, yes they enjoy being on couches and beds (covered off course). Plenty of accommodations and the daily scones and juice, an added bonus we truly enjoyed and will surely miss. If we can swing another mid winter getaway we won’t hesitate to book again. Thank you again Patricia and your pups for allowing us to enjoy your little paradise for a short time.

Clean, comfortable, very well stocked. KAren responded quickly to any questions. Easy to get in and out of house. We stayed one week and the price was very affordable. Would definitely stay here again.

loved this cozy cabin for a snowed in weekend. the setting is beautiful and the house is completely stocked with everything you could need for quiet time with family. we came with two small kids and it was well suited for them. hoping to come back in the summer to enjoy the lake. thanks Scott for being such a phenomenal and responsive host amid the crazy snow storm.

Direct Lakefront Home on Otis Reservoir Giant Yard

We stayed for two nights in January and had a wonderful time. The house was perfect for our group (a family of 5, a family of 3, and a couple). We all had our own spaces and own bathrooms, with spacious common areas to hang out together. Adam was a great host who was very helpful, responsive, and up-front about everything. We look forward to staying again - maybe in the summer months next time so we can enjoy the lake as well.

Private, secluded and cozy weekend away. The space was just as described and more private than expected. We loved waking up with the daylight and relaxing at night with the open sky and sauna sessions. Area recommendations were spot on and made the trip even more enjoyable. Hope to be able to get back during a different season to enjoy the area again!

The Floating Library: private hiker's hideaway

The Floating Library was the perfect place for us to stay while we were getting our Connecticut home ready to sell. It was a wonderful oasis at the base of the mountain. We thought we would be able to enjoy some time hiking yet our tasks took most of our days. The environment is clean, creative, and beautiful. There are many nooks to spend time thinking, praying, reading, meditating or just being still. The kitchen is well stocked with many thoughtful extras. There is an abundance of linens, towels, sheets, blankets, etc. The bathroom has a great skylight, terrific shower and plenty of space to put your personal toiletry items. One night we took out the nostalgic game of rockem sockem robots and had many laughs. Thanks for a great place to stay, Damien!

the place was exactly how it was described. it was beach m beautiful and clean and really easy to give and get to. very helpful that there was a package store across the street. 😁 the hot tub was really clean. we had an issue in the early morning, viktoriya got back to us in a timely manner and she sent over somebody to help us.
