Our weekend was perfect. Joseph was so kind and told us right away everything we were curious about. The only expression that comes to mind is the house on the sea. We all fell in love with the fantastic view. In the back sea, we enjoyed fishing and caught a small fish and two crabs on the last day :) We will visit again with our friends soon.

This is our second time staying at Steven’s house. It is a perfect retreat for us.

We are so thankful to have stayed at this beautiful waterfront house. The host thought of anything and everything that would be needed for our stay and went above and beyond to take excellent care of us. I would highly recommend staying at this location, or any of our hosts other locations. We can’t wait to come back and are looking forward to our next vacation at the Mermaid House.

What can I say? All the other reviews were spot on. This was a spectacular home for a family wanting to spend quality time together, inside and outside the home. Serene, beautiful surroundings, spotless home, and all the necessities to enjoy cooking/grilling at home and feeling at home, while also being close to LBI and other surrounding beaches. Great place to go if your trying to get away. Big windows in the living room to let in all the sunshine on comfy couches to help you rest and recharge with views of the water. Kitchen was big , had everything there we needed, spacious clean rooms . 👍

May’s place was in the perfect location for our 4 sisters gathering. The sunrises are spectacular, plus we got to watch bald eagles on the ice in the river. Her place is spacious and comfy with a giant sectional and giant TV.

The main suggestion is to have a welcome binder or something to help the guest navigate the house. How to start the fireplace? Internet password? What is expected when leaving the house such as cleaning, empty garbage, strip bedding, wash towels, dishes etc.

What a beautiful time spent at Anne’s home! My family of 3, my sister’s family of 5 and my 2 parents all had our own space within the home. Anne was very thoughtful with what she keeps at the house for guests. It was fully stocked and we weren’t in need of anything. Everything was clean and decorated beautifully. A wonderful location for our family getaway😊

The cottage was a perfect spot for a quick weekend getaway, we wish we had stayed longer. Ryan was very descriptive with instructions on how to find the cottage, how to get inside, and expectations of the property. The cottage was incredibly clean with many more amenities than the average Airbnb. A guidebook listed several restaurants and local things to do, which was incredibly helpful for finding food. We definitely will be back!

What a wonderful, quiet and peaceful cottage for a girls weekend. We loved stying at the cottage. A quick walk to the lake. The neighbors were all very kind. Laura was great and responsive. Would stay here again!

Beautiful stay, albeit short and I only needed it to sleep. It even smelled amazing. After my long days it was so very nice to arrive at the cabin to sleep. Will definitely be booking again!

Beautiful location with stunning views of the bay. Loved morning coffee on the patio, watching the sunrise and relaxing evenings in the hot tub as the sun went down. A very enjoyable weekend with the family.

We loved our stay here . The grandkids and everyone had a great time with all the amenities provided . Kayaking , fishing , crabbing , swimming etc . We also enjoyed the outdoor concert at the pier & the nearby restaurants ! Would definitely love to stay here again . Salvatore was very friendly and helpful !

Very intimate, the locals were also very nice! Extremely clean! Everything is as advertised and some! You really need to see it in person! Lots of wild life to admire! The water is literally a matter of 10-12 feet away from the back of the property! Still very convenient regarding the latest technology, & great cell phone reception! David is very responsive and helpful regarding communication! Everything I needed, I was briefed on before arriving! No details were left out, & it was spotless! Loved it! We hope to be back again! My husband and I traveled here for a night away from our children and work responsibilities. We were looking for some place that was private and on the water. This place was both and it did not disappoint! The loft was cozy and spacious and we loved looking out the windows at the water and rain. It was very clean and there were plenty of towels and blankets and other special touches. Janelle communicated with us ahead of time to make sure she was ready for our arrival and she was kind and responsive throughout the process. We also found it easy to get into Easton for dinner at The Stewart, which was a treat, and then return back to the cabin. I would stay here again in a heartbeat -- but hopefully for longer next time.

My wife, two sons (19 yrs, 17 yrs), miniature poodle, and I enjoyed a peaceful off-season visit here in late December 2024. This house has a nice location just a few blocks from the bayside beach and lovely interior that feels like you're at home. First, the enclosed porch was superbly decorated. Second, the open layout of the spacious kitchen and living room is wonderful. Third, you can walk to the bayside (a few blocks) or conveniently access a biking/jogging trail with a short walk to American Legion St. and finding the "hidden entrance" on the left side right after the American Legion building. In the off-season, we liked taking our dog to the beach every morning. Would definitely return for a future off-season visit!

Beautiful, clean, comfortable place. We had a great quiet peaceful weekend! Close to Atlantic City and Smithville.

Although we only stayed a night (next time hopefully longer to enjoy more amenities) this was a great place to stay. Very clean and updated. It matches the description perfectly. Our host was super responsive. Would def come again!

This is the second year we stayed in a cottage with this host. The places are clean and charming and were both directly on the lake. We had several sightings of the black swans in the lake as well! Love that this is dog friendly, too.

Though this was a one night stay, my family and I felt right at home! Cozy and peaceful home! Would do it again.

Review: We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The highlight was definitely the stunning view of the river—watching the sunrise over the water was truly breathtaking. The surrounding nature was incredible, with plenty of wildlife to admire, from birds to even the occasional fox. The location was peaceful and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The home itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything needed for a great stay. The host was responsive and made sure everything was perfect. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a scenic and tranquil retreat!

My third time with Swan Lake and I find the location, prices, and cabins perfect for my needs. Very clean (not spotless), great kitchen with lots of counter space, comfortable beds and pillows, uncluttered, and in a quiet location. It's a little tricky to find, so make sure you use the map of the sites that they give you and not GPS, which is not accurate there. Host was very responsive to my questions. Convenient parking right by the door and just a few steps up onto the porch to get in. Nice layout inside. I will return!

Bob was a wonderful host and reached out to make sure everything about our stay was perfect and it was! The place is adorable! It’s so beautiful and comfortable. Love the decor. But I cannot say enough about the view. When we weren’t boating, we spent most of our time outside just enjoying the amazing water views. Saw many eagles, some close up passing by. Saw a bunch of deer. The birds visiting the feeder. We had a nice bonfire by the water! Everything we needed was always right there!! This property is a must see and I highly recommend it!! We thank you for hosting us and hope to return!!
