This place is way better than the photos give it justice, and the fireplace at the property is on of the best I’ve ever seen in my life, and its something I really value in an air bnb. The place has so much character, and the grounds are quite simply stunning, incredibly tranquil, a top quality jacuzzi, which is away from view of the property and very private! It’s one of the most value for money places I’ve ever been on Airbnb and Sally is a gem of a person too, funny, smart, informative and there if you need her! I will 100% be recommending this place to people and I will definitely return. 10/10 👌🏻

Fabulous cottage in a very quiet part of Kent, this was the ideal location for my son’s 30th birthday weekend. Gluten free brownies and wine to welcome us, and Fran added some little touches for his birthday. The cottage was well equipped with everything we needed for the weekend. The Greyhound pub also made us extremely welcome and there were added touches for his birthday there as well. The hot tub is a brilliant addition and was well used over our weekend stay. We would highly recommend this cottage, Fran was the perfect host and the whole experience was brilliant.

Wonderful accommodation, in a beautiful location right next to the river , great for birdwatching. There are lovely walks right from the gate, and good pubs in Sarratt. Sarah and Jon are great hosts and had the hot tub ready for arrival. Thanks for a great stay.

Tanya was an amazing host, the scones she baked were incredile. The cottage was clean and well equiped even for our 1 year old. The hot tub and swimming pool were clean and great fun.

Forest Cottage was an amazing place to stay! I was visiting family and this was a great place to relax and have our own space for the vacation . Great rural location , yet close enough to amenities etc . We had an issue with the toilet and Jason promptly had a plumber out to fix it. Quiet and charming place. Jason was very responsive and easy to reach out to if we had any issues . My only suggestion would be to have a binder or booklet with more detailed instructions on the cottage rather than hand written notes ( ex. How to use the stovetop, where the outside lights are located etc). Beautiful country views with access to Hatfield Forest on our doorstep. The hot tub was an added bonus. Will definitely look to visit again sometime soon . Thanks Jason !

We had a great stay here! The wether was amazing so we were able to enjoy the beautiful garden views and the hot tub. I had let Amanda know we were celebrating one of the guests birthdays whilst we were there and they gave us great restaurant recommendations, and left us champagne!

Abbiamo vissuto il nostro sogno inglese in questo meraviglioso cottage con giardino. Estremamente curato, pulito e confortevole. Un posto dove si desidera tornare la sera dopo le escursioni nel Kent. Ho amato tutto di questa casa. Mi commuoveva ogni mattina scendere in cucina per riempirmi gli occhi di calore e confort. La casa è curata in ogni dettaglio. La sala ha divani comodi, una bella televisione, tavolo per mangiare e camino. Quanta bellezza! Lasciamo un pezzo di cuore in questo cottage e anche in questo piccolissimo paese che sembra uscito da una fiaba🥰

Amazing cottage, we got exactly what we came for, a perfect English countryside experience. The environment is probably the absolute best, the house is surrounded by walking paths, fields, forests, horses and other animals - it is truly beautiful. You need a car to move around, but by that multiple sights to visit are nearby, we particularly liked Henley-on-Thames. The outdoors and indoors of the house are also reflecting the vibe, the atmosphere is very much as shown on the photos. The kitchen is perfectly functional, the rooms' size and arrangement are perfect for 3 people, and the mattrasse in the bedroom is exceptionally comfy. A great plus that the house is also properly insulated and warm, which is a rarity! We had a fantastic time at Carina's (many thanks for the helpfulness as well!) and fullheartedly recommend this place.

surrey hills is an amazing area. great for seansoned hikers and also gentle amblers. the cottage felt very rural and quiet and lovely grounds. it was perfect for what i needed, to "get away" from general hubbub of life. the walking is out of this world. and the views from the hills are vast. would love to return to this cottage in full blown spring. would be another lever.

We had the pleasure of staying at Lieven & Lydia’s for a hen weekend and we couldn’t have asked for more. The location was perfect and the cottages were beautiful. I received a welcome email prior to the stay which included so much information which I found so reassuring prior to the stay. Accessing the property was smooth and the cottages were spotlessly clean, warm and welcoming. I would highly recommend the cottages and the hosts - perfect in every way ☺️

The living areas were perfect for our group of 6 friends with lots of seating space/ options. Also great to have lots of parking space for all. Very peaceful surroundings.

We loved our stay here. It’s a really lovely lodge with a really well equipped kitchen. Lovely outside seating area. Lots of walks and country pubs surrounding. Everything you could want for a countryside getaway.

Communication with the host was easy and they responded quickly. The house is just as described, a small cute 2 bedroom cottage, with a lovely south facing garden - where I sat reading in the sunshine on the first morning. The furniture is of a good sturdy quality and in very good condition. We had been concerned that there was no parking at the cottage, however on both nights we where able to park right outside the front door. There are a number of pubs, a fish and chip shop and an Indian restaurant, all within walking distance if you do not want to cook, but the cottage is fully equipped with a 5 ring gas hob and lots of pots and pans and crockery. The cottage is ideally situated for trips out to the surrounding countryside and a main line train station is a few minutes walk away, with regular services south into London and north to Birmingham. Far and away the best Airbnb we have ever stayed in.

Very cute place in the English countryside with amazing charm. The cottage has recently been refurbished and feels like a movie set (think ‘The Holiday’ but with the home feeling of a cozy retreat). The decor was beautifully done, capturing the essence of a traditional English cottage while offering modern comforts. The location was serene and perfect for a peaceful getaway. Overall, it was a wonderful stay, and I would highly recommend this charming cottage to anyone seeking a relaxing escape in the countryside. Absolutely indispensable to have a car AND review the checking pictures well in order to find the place

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette maison située dans un cadre calme mais néanmoins proche de lignes de bus et de métro permettant de rejoindre le centre de Londres. Emplacement très pratique pour les studios Harry Potter car logement situé sur la ligne qui amène à Watford Junction. Maison confortable et agréable, décorée avec goût, idéale pour un sejour en famille car très bien équipée pour les enfants. Alexis est un hôte très sympathique qui s'est montré disponible et réactif lorsque nous avions des questions. Nous recommandons. Petite pensée pour Cookie le chat qui nous manque déjà !

A charming house with a location that can’t be beat. Close to restaurants, trains, nature and a garden that had just started to bloom. Excellent stay. Highly recommend.

Clean property and friendly host

A really nice house, great private and secure parking and a short walk to the underground Northern line. Good amenities and fantastic TV. Would consider returning when next visiting London

This is a lovely cottage in one of my favourite parts of London. We loved walking across the Heath, or up to the VIllage for a gourmet pub Lunch or simply enjoying a ride on the C2 into Camden for the best ice-cream in the world. For families with older kids exploring London this is a great place to stay. After a long, hot days in London it was so nice to come back to the quiet streets and views of Highgate.

A lovely home away from home in a quaint location. Ed’s house is historic but with lovely modern upgrades, off a quiet path, and around the corner from a cute shopping area. This was the perfect spot for our family of three and Ed was very accommodating with check in and check out, highly recommend and hope to stay here again in the future!

We were working locally and this was the ideal location. The house felt very homely which was lovely considering we were away from home for so long. The garden was a small slice of peace in a busy city and I’d love to see what it was like like during summer months. Really hope we get to stay again!

Petite maison pleine de charme située dans une rue calme et typique de Londres. Localisation du bien appréciable lorsque l'on voyage avec un bébé. Harley est très avenant et accueillant. Il nous a donné beaucoup d'informations concernant la localisation de la maison, le trajet et les commodités. La maison était propre et le lit très confortable.
