Paradise. Surrounded by fields, set back from the road, with a magical little hedged-in backyard and a pickleball court outside the hedge. The house is very private and spacious with four bedrooms, well renovated with lots of beautiful wood. It has the best equipped Airbnb kitchen we've ever experienced, with everything from a milk frother to a barbecue fork with a built-in thermometer, spices, food processor, and a Nespresso machine. They also let you use bikes, beach chairs, one beach umbrella, and the pickleball court. Cathy was a very welcoming host, who met us when we arrived and was quickly responsive to any questions. The location can’t be beat: it is within a mile of two beaches (Tappan beach, which has no parking so you have to walk or bike there, and Lloyds beach, which has parking) and an easy drive to South Shore beach and to town. When we were there, the week after Labor Day, South Shore beach was free and uncrowded. People still swam and surfed, though the life guard

My husband, son and I just returned from spending an absolutely fabulous week at the Harborview. I really can’t say enough good things about the house, location and host (Kristina). We’ve been vacationing on Block Island for years and have been staying in a B&B. Decided to try something different this year and I’m so glad we did. The house is spacious, clean, well equipped. Returning home after a day at the beach, I really felt like we were coming “home”. Town is close, but we enjoyed the quietness being a little outside of the center. Super close to both Scotch and Mansion beach. Kristina even invited us to their sister property, the Barrington Inn, to watch the 4th of July parade. I’m not sure we’ll ever stay anywhere else!

it is the most adorable little cottage! cutely decorated. perfect for the 2 of us! plenty of room. peaceful and quiet great location . easy walk to the beach. had everything we needed. will definitely keep this airbnb on file to rent again! thanks, lauren!

Dennis is such a friendly and helpful host. The neighbourhood is really lovely, very peaceful and very safe. It's conveniently placed, as it's a 10ish minute drive to town but also walking distance to a nice breakfast place, Harvest, and food shop. There's plenty of helpful leaflets about Newport in the rooms, and very thoughtfully, a great selection of snacks! Dennis is only too pleased to answer any questions and suggest places to visit. We really enjoyed our stay and wish we didn't have to get back to work so soon!

We had a great time at Dawn’s Airbnb. It was a cute place perfect for two people, it had all the things needed for a short trip, well equipped with amenities. We enjoyed using the shower speaker and lights, and cooking breakfast. Dawn was very kind. Great place to stay to experience beautiful Newport!

My stay at the converted carriage house was absolutely perfect! I loved every minute of it. The space was beautifully renovated – clean, private, and incredibly comfortable. The bed and pillows were so soft, and the shower was fantastic. It was exactly as shown in the photos, and every detail was thoughtfully considered for comfort. Nicole and Leo were incredibly gracious hosts – always quick to respond to messages and make sure I had everything I needed. I was there to bake a cake for a friend’s opening down the street, and they even went out of their way to buy me a pair of measuring cups! The kitchen was well stocked and easy to cook in, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. The location was great – a quiet street in a charming, turn-of-the-century neighborhood that perfectly captures the east side’s character. It was ideal for exploring the city. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay, and I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in Rhode Island. Highly recommend!

Loved the place! Easy access, close to my daughter's house! Clean, peaceful.... Both hosts(Maria and Melissa) were awesome to work with. Parking was a little confusing at first! Overall a sweet place to stay! Would come back again! Melissa

Great host, beautiful place. Matt started a fire for us before we arrived. Had trouble getting heat, didn't know how to work remotes, so called him just after midnight and he came over and helped, giving better directions and stayed til was warming up. He advised was working on washing machine and did fix it next day. Very friendly, offered his help on everything. We have him some stuffing that my wife made for Christmas ... he returned favor by giving us some sweetbread the next day. Comfortable bed, plenty of storage space for our stuff, coffee maker and other appliances worked great. More than enough sitting space to watch large TV. Fireplace insert threw out plenty of heat making it cozy to be in living room (and only used about 1/4 of the wood he provided). Wi-fi good (cuz 5G reception was not). Would definitely stay here again if available on our next trip to Mass.

I took my mum and two of her best friends on a girls weekend trip and we stayed in Gary & Cindy’s lovely cottage. The beds were comfy and we loved that the nooks provided privacy, even with us all in the space. Everything was clean, we appreciated the complimentary wine, and took some time to enjoy sitting in the greenhouse in the backyard. I highly recommend staying here if you are visiting the Pomfret area.

We stayed for 3 days it was perfect and what we were looking for for this weekend . Location was perfect! Nicholas was very friendly and accommodating. Looking forward til next time!!

We’re nice house for our small trip. It did the job and was amazing.

A beautiful place in a charming little town. It was peaceful and relaxing by the water, hearing the birds singing and watching the ducks, and seeing beautiful sunrises. An easy 2 minute drive to local restaurants. Colin was clear with his instructions and the place was clean. I would stay again and am happy to recommend it to others if you're looking for some peace and quiet!

Stayed here one night for a visit to Mystic, easy quick drive from attractions and simple check-in. We absolutely loved the location, extremely quiet, private, and cozy. Perfect spot for a quick trip, very kid friendly too. Awesome games table, and very sweet welcoming party of 3 adorable dogs. We loved our stay and would definitely consider it again in the future! :)

Above and beyond helpfulness!— from the fabulous communication to the fresh eggs to help digging the car out from a snowstorm — it was such a nice visit and I will always stay there when in East Greenwich!

The apartment and property is lovely, and was more than enough space for my husband, 2yr old son, and dog. The neighborhood is quiet, and it had a nice location proximate to different beaches and wooded trails. We really appreciated the easy check-in and keypad since we had to arrive pretty late at night. Melissa was also very responsive and helpful! Though we were hoping for waves and got skunked on surf, we had no trouble finding other stuff to do.

The Guest Cottage exceeded our expectations! What a stunning location! The place was so bright and cheerful and the windows made it feel so much bigger than it was. The kitchen is very well equipt, the beds were comfortable, and the entire apartment was immaculate. It is truly an oasis. I highly recommend staying here!

The stay was very relaxing and peacful near alot of resturants and beaches, the bed was very comfortable when i had a queston i recieved a answer right away we would stay here again .thankyou 😀

This is a cool place. It's a loft above the garages in an old carriage house. Lots of light and a nice view. The kitchen is relatively minimal, but you could live her comfortably for a while, as long as you didn't need to roast a chicken or something. It's walking distance to a Whole Foods. Benefit Street is quiet, historical, the most famous on the East Side. It's a good place to stay when visiting Brown or RISD for work. Mill's Tavern, Hemenway's, New Rivers are walkable for dinner.

We loved our stay at Kathy’s place. It was homey, and very comfortable. She was a great communicator, allowed us to check in earlier than advertised. She offered local restaurant recommendations during our stay. We had the perfect New England long weekend at the perfect location. For anyone looking to stay during the October Newport Marathon, the home is a quick walk to mile 21 of the course where you can see your runners! Added perk!
