Lovely Airbnb for a couple, plenty of space. The kitchen is small but still a very functional space. Part baked bread for sandwiches cooked easily in the microwave oven. Madonna was very helpful and gave us very clear instructions so the Airbnb was easy to find, even in the dark. We had an issue with the hot water not working when we arrived, however I contacted Madonna and her husband came to fix it even though it was nearly midnight, so we could shower before bed. Great communication and a lovely location with great access to Wasdale, which was as beautiful as I remember it!

Great location and very peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed the disconnect from the outside world, and to be able to tick off a Wainwright from the roundhouse was great. My wife loved the experience with Cumbrian Heavy Horses. We loved being able to support such an amazing place.

Lovely stay at Lind end cottage, beautiful scenery and a cosy cottage. Janet was very welcoming and made me feel very welcome and at home, thoroughly enjoyed having a chat with Janet. Nice and quiet and out of the way but still within a small driving distance from Coniston or Windermere. Will definitely be looking to come and stay again.

We had a great time at Canny Brow Barn. Everything you could possible think of or need for your stay, Ian and Anne-Marie had thought about, from a cocktail shaker to cleaning products to games. Would highly recommend!

What a perfect place to stay with all of the family from 11 months to 80+yrs of age. Accessibility for my mum was excellent with walk in showers and sofa chairs easy to get in and out of. A travel cot and high chair provided for the youngest member of the family. A dishwasher including the tablets along with a fully equipped kitchen, plastic glasses for use in the hot tub ideal with a glass of wine or too. Our two dogs enjoyed lots of walks and it was brilliant that the garden was fully enclosed and safe for them too. Sarah the host was lovely nothing was too much trouble, little touches like jigsaws and board games where available and the barn had been decorated for Christmas to make you feelst home. The barn was in a beautiful location with lots of walks and a local pub ( booking is essential). If your into astronomy go to Grassholme Observatory I learnt so much and the dark skies are awesome. We had a lovely New Years break and would highly recommended Sunrise Barn for families.

Amazing stay in cozy cottage, superb views from the accommodation. Short walk down to the lake with private pontoon perfect to enjoy the views with a glass of wine.

The stay at the farm in the barn house was beautiful. Me and my fiancé took our 3 dogs and it could not have been anymore perfect. The barn was rustic with character and very cosy by the log burner fire. The scenery and views are stunning, especially in the hot tub. The hot tub BBQ area was enclosed which was ideal, we could let our poochies run around whilst we relaxed in the tub. Richard was incredibly welcoming and friendly and very accommodating. He shown us around his farm and we got to meet his cows. We enjoyed it so much that we booked an extra night! 100% worth the money and will definitely be returning in the future. Thanks again Richard!

We had a lovely peaceful break at Apple Tree Cottage. Anna and Giles provided very clear directions so it was easy to find. The surroundings were beautiful and the cottage felt remote and peaceful, but we were only a short drive from lots of great walks and interesting things to see and do. The cottage itself is modern, cosy, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed.

Wonderful peaceful cottage with excellent facilities and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Extremely clean in all areas of the cottage and the extra personal touches of home made bread, butter and milk were just perfect and very well thought out. We especially enjoyed the soccer table that was so much fun! The perfect location, would definitely recommend, hopefully will revisit again soon!

Great spot with a 20 min drive from lake Windermere. Beautiful view right outside the front door. Hot tub facing the sunset is perfect. Host was extremely helpful and replied quickly, highly recommend and will be returning

It doesn’t get much better than a glorious spring morning—blue skies above, sunshine on your face, and the simple pleasure of relaxing in a hot tub while watching lambs gambol playfully in the next field. The views across the Ribble Valley to Pendle Hill are wonderful. We were lucky with the weather, but honestly, this is the kind of place that’s perfect no matter the season. Even if the skies turn grey, the cosy charm of the shepherd’s hut makes it a wonderfully snug retreat. The hut itself has everything you could possibly need. It was immaculately clean, beautifully finished, and clearly cared for to a very high standard. Catherine was a great host—friendly, responsive, and welcoming. If you’re after a peaceful escape in stunning surroundings, look no further. This place is an absolute gem

Beautiful home, very spacious and plenty of amenities. felt right at home! perfect for toddlers too. Ian was great, very helpful and easily contactable.

Brilliant place to stay Wendy was a great host and we where there just in time to see the new spring lambs she has . Also local pub down. the road was great for food and hospistality.

The Piggery was perfect for the R&R that we were looking for. The location was amazing, so peaceful and quiet with spectacular views, made all the more perfect with the log burner and super comfy king size bed.

We have stayed at this lovely house before and were very much looking forward to spending time here again. The house was immaculate, warm, and welcoming. The milk in the fridge and the lovely cookies were very well received. The house had everything we could have possibly needed. The accommodation suited our 3 generation family meaning we all had a relaxing and fun time. We would all recommend this lovely house 100% and look forward to returning in the future.

We had an amazing stay at Rebecca’s place! The property is beautifully decorated, spacious, and feels just like home. The views are absolutely stunning, and every detail has been thoughtfully considered. It was the perfect getaway, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend

Lamb Garth Barn was so much than we could have imagined. It was beautiful, clean, spacious, and in the cutest village with such amazing views. Claire was such a great host, very kind, and responsive, she even left us some farm fresh milk! The best place we have stayed at so far on our trip through England and Scotland. Will definitely stay here again if the opportunity arises. Thank you so much Claire!!

Gorgeous cottage in a stunningly peaceful location. Very comfortable with all the amenities needed. Will re-visit.

We had a lovely weekend here. Debbie met us on arrival and was the perfect host. We had everything you could need and the hot tub was an amazing addition. The brewery next door was ideal, we would highly recommend!

We were looking for a quiet peaceful place to explore the walking in the area. Emma's place fitted the bill perfectly being situated in a remote rural location. The Byre is well fitted out with quality finishes and small welcoming touches such as the delicious homemade cake. Emma is a great host and we will happily return to continue exploring the area.

Highly recommend a stay at the Old Silk Mill. Beautiful location, very private and a well equipped and comfortable house. We look forward to visiting again soon!

This was my 2nd visit to the Granary. As before it was marvellous. It’s so well equipped and I wanted for nothing. The weather was great and the beach was so close to walk to with my canine companion. The hosts are so very friendly and Im hoping to visit again later on in the year.
