Hands down the nicest Airbnb we've ever stayed in. Extremely well designed and very beautiful stream that the balcony overhangs. Daria was really relaxed and flexible, provided some essentials and local recommendations. Good pubs walking distance away, really comfy bed, can't recommend enough.

This was our 2nd stay at Mechele's place. It is a great, quiet location. Home from home inside the pod. Mechele is always to hand if needed. Hope to return in the future. Hayley & Tracey

What a beautiful Airbnb with a welcoming atmosphere!! From the minute we stepped into the house it felt like a home from home. It was spotless and so cosy with homely touches. We were shown the workings of the hottub on arrival by Ralph which was very helpful and he was also really friendly. The view from the window looked out onto an open field and later on the sunset was beautiful (which we watched from the hottub)! The home is peaceful and a great get away from everyday busy life. The TV has everything you need from sky to Netflix and the couch is snug with blankets. The bed is most definitely a highlight as it was really cosy and comfortable. Overall we couldn't of been happier with our choice to stay at Little Nook and we will certainly be back soon! Thank you so much to Sharon and Ralph.

Absolutely amazing place, so peacefull. A great little wooden cabin with a log burner. shared toilet facilities further down the farm but that was non-issue. A lack of a shower block is the only downfall but absolutely doesn't take away from how much we enjoyed it, we will definitely stay again if in the area. Loved every minute of it. Dot is extremely helpful too. Top quality all round.

Lovely cosy weekend away in the log cabin. It was very clean and spacious and Ruth was very quick in responding if we needed anything. The rowing boat was a nice touch and you could take it out whenever you wanted. We made use of the fire pit and bbq in the evening. Woke up to a lovely sunrise and the 2 deers in the field always came over to say hello. The area was so quiet and peaceful with lovely views. Would highly recommend!

We had a great time staying at Gillian's pod. The location is excellent with beautiful views and we enjoyed our time there.

Colin was a fantastic host from the point of making the booking, until the moment I checked out. fantastic little place he has and as good as it looks on the pictures, it is even better in person! Colin sent over a handy local guidebook with a variety of places nearby to go to, and another guidebook with all the instructions needed to make your stay as hassle free as possible. he messaged me the day after checking in to ensure I was happy with everything and if I was to need anything at all he would be there to help me. I honestly can not think of a single fault regarding coins hosting skills, or the fantastic little place he has.

Great spot with a 20 min drive from lake Windermere. Beautiful view right outside the front door. Hot tub facing the sunset is perfect. Host was extremely helpful and replied quickly, highly recommend and will be returning

We celebrated our anniversary here and it was the perfect stay ! The cabin is very spacious and cosy. It has everything you need and the bed is super comfy. The cabin is also only a short drive from Barnard Castle with Raby Castle not too far either so there is plenty to do. Julia is lovely, responds very quickly and is very helpful. We would highly recommend 🫶

Had the absolute pleasure of staying here for my girlfriend’s birthday. The whole stay from start to finish was amazing. The hosts are both welcoming and accommodating, including a generous welcome basket. Comfy beds, amazing coffee, great water pressure and overall a perfect stay. We will definitely be returning soon

It doesn’t get much better than a glorious spring morning—blue skies above, sunshine on your face, and the simple pleasure of relaxing in a hot tub while watching lambs gambol playfully in the next field. The views across the Ribble Valley to Pendle Hill are wonderful. We were lucky with the weather, but honestly, this is the kind of place that’s perfect no matter the season. Even if the skies turn grey, the cosy charm of the shepherd’s hut makes it a wonderfully snug retreat. The hut itself has everything you could possibly need. It was immaculately clean, beautifully finished, and clearly cared for to a very high standard. Catherine was a great host—friendly, responsive, and welcoming. If you’re after a peaceful escape in stunning surroundings, look no further. This place is an absolute gem

Amazing off grid experience. Loved the wood fired hot tub, clean, hot and no chemicals making skin itchy. We wanted a peaceful chill out and to left undisturbed and all was as wished for . Well worth paying for the wood and pre lit service. Lovely presentation for my hubbies 50th birthday with balloons, chocolates and red wine . Magna the dog was so friendly too . Can’t wait to return

The Farmhouse Lodge was comfortable, quiet and close to the place we were visiting. We really appreciated Angela's offer for us to check in early; it was very kind and made us feel especially welcome.

Sarah was a very friendly host. We really enjoyed our stay. We particularly enjoyed the king sized comfy bed, the hot tub, the privacy, the peace, access to sky packages, and the breakfast. Sarah recommended a drive to the force cafe in Ambleside, which we thoroughly enjoyed, the views were amazing.

Lovely hut in beautiful surroundings. Attention to detail and some thoughtful little extras made us feel welcome, warm and cosy (despite the freezing weather!), very much home from home. Perfect location for walking and exploring the countryside. Unfortunately it was too cloudy for star gazing but we'd love to come back!

We absolutely loved our stay at Alison’s listing! Alison gave great instructions the day prior for getting to the property! The place its self was cosy and perfect for our Yorkshire dales weekend! Would definitely recommend!

What a tranquil, calm peaceful haven. The hut was perfect in every way from prosecco in the fridge, delicious bacon and eggs from Mark and Beth’s chickens to freshly ground coffee, comfortable bed, kitchen which had everything you needed and a hot shower. The hut is well insulated and perfectly laid out. Local walks recommended were beautiful recommend the ‘long drag’ walk. We did not want to leave. Thank you so much Mark and Beth from Helen and Andy

We had the best time staying at this beautiful treehouse. Fabulous kind hosts. It had absolutely everything we needed, everything was clean and well looked after and scenery and wildlife was stunning. Seeing deer in the field and the outdoor shower were particular highlights. We would love to stay again!
