South Lanarkshire : locations de vacances adaptées aux enfants

We stayed for a week and felt very comfortable. The beds aren't American king size but more like American queen size. But they are very very comfortable. We really appreciated a variety of pillows. Everything in the apartment was great. We really liked how it was quiet and right by Glasgow Green; however, there aren't many grocery stores and restaurants nearby. We would stay here again. My stay here was fantastic! Our family absolutely loved our stay! The space was clean, cozy, and well-equipped and exactly as described. The host was incredibly attentive and responsive. We felt at home during our entire stay and wouldn’t hesitate to book again or recommend it to anyone.

A cozy cottage close to major roads. We loved the homey feel, the great heating and the comfy lounge. Our hosts were responsive, friendly and helpful.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in Cass’ wunderschön restauriertem Cottage. Die Liebe zum Detail ist beeindruckend – die Dekoration, die antiken Möbel und der gemütliche Holzofen im Schlafzimmer haben den Aufenthalt einzigartig gemacht. Das Cottage ist geräumig, makellos sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Cass und ihr Mann sind herzliche und aufmerksame Gastgeber, die den Check-in reibungslos gestaltet und uns tolle Tipps für die Umgebung gegeben haben. Es war der perfekte Rückzugsort auf dem Land, um zur Ruhe zu kommen und die Natur zu genießen. Von der Unterkunft kann man mit dem Auto zu einem nahegelegenen Bahnhof fahren (kostenloses Parken möglich) und von dort nach Edinburgh reisen. Alternativ fährt man direkt nach Edinburgh oder Glasgow – beide Strecken führen größtenteils über ruhige, idyllische Landstraßen. In Edinburgh empfehlen wir den günstigen „Edinburgh Central Travelodge Car Park“ Parkplatz. Wir können diese Unterkunft jedem empfehlen!

Mary was fast to respond to any issues that arose, we were in her property for 2 months and anything which required attention was seen to quickly. the house is in one of the nicest parts of town, I'd generally quiet and comfortable.

Kevin’s place was just what we needed for a quick stay in Glasgow while we visited for a friend’s wedding! It had everything we needed and Kevin was a really communicative host.

Keith was great at communicating whenever we had queries. Jeanette was very accommodating and made us feel at home. When we visit the area in the future, we hope this place will be available as our first preference. Very well equipped kitchen. Good hot water and heating. Plenty of space for parking. Great entertainment options with TVs in each room.

Great little flat, right near the park so great for dogs and walkable to lots of lovely Southside cafes etc.

Noa's place is lovely and was the perfect location for us while visiting friends in Glasgow. Quick to respond & understanding, Noa was a wonderful host. It was a bit chilly in the flat, especially since we visited in February, but other than that the place was great. We'd stay again!

Very spacious. The host was really helpful on arrival. Everything we needed was there. As we were working in The Studio Moffat (we're part of a young theatre company) we really appreciated how warm and comfortable this place is, helped us work hard over 4 days.

Such a stunning place, an absolute gem! The apartment was very spacious and beautifully decorated. Everything was really clean and and we all the amenities ine could think of. Never had so many alternatives for making coffee in one place 😄 Piers left a host of recommendations on what to do and where to eat for us as well. If you ever are in the area, this is the place to stay.

Very clean and spacious apartment that looks just like the photos provided. The most comfiest beds we’ve had when staying at an airbnb. David had good communication and even suggested some local recommendations for food. Bus stops right outside the apartment and Aldi being a 3 minute walk away were also both positives.

Nice and cosy place. Everything I needed in the kitchen. Nice and clean throughout the property. Nice views when you look through the windows. Parking was nice and easy as well. Really enjoyed my stay thank you very much

Lewis is an exceptional host. The layout of the flat was great and the location was perfect for me.

Russel is a great host. Easy check-in and the place has all we need. Since it was a holiday stay he even gave us a check-in gift which was muchly appreciated. The place is in a great location being very close to the train with lots of local places if you need things along with great cafes if you want. We especially like that it is on the first floor (we are getting older) and quiet. We have stayed here before and will continue to use it when we can since our daughter and family live a manageable walk nearby.

Anni was a fantastic host. The apartment was perfect, clean and in a great location. The neighbourhood was nice and quiet but also had brilliant links into the city centre. Anni also let us check in early, provided a high chair and travel cot which was very much appreciated. We would gladly stay in Anni’s apartment again.

Our stay was amazing! We walked to the Langside train station every day and went into the Glasgow Central Railway station. From there, we were able to get to all of the shops and sights! We were so impressed with the cleanliness of the place! Also, the trees and vegetation in the front yard are spectacular!! Everything anyone could possibly want was provided by Michele! All in all, a perfect place to stay in Glasgow!!

The apartment is spacious, well-equipped for children and comfortable. The beds are very good and the shower, although not brilliant, is good enough. The location is great, with plenty of independent shops (notably the Deanston Bakery) and restaurants, and Crossmyloof station (6 minutes to Glasgow Central), nearby.

Timothy and Michelle are wonderful hosts. For full transparency we booked this as we were moving across the country (extremely stressful) and were not 100% certain we'd get our keys on the day. Timothy and Michelle bent over backwards to accomodate us at short notice to make sure we would have a safe space if our move fell through (and if when we got the keys the house was unliveable!) they were responsive and kind, at a time that was incredibly stressful. They provided extra info, and so much flexibility. Encounters like this give you faith in humanity again. We will forever be grateful for their kindness, even if we did not get the opportunity to stay (we hope to come back to hike in the surrounding areas and thank them again). We cannot recommend them enough as a reliable, genuine and kind set of hosts. Thank you ❤️
