South Lanarkshire : locations de vacances

I had a lovely stay for one night on route to my home on Skye. The house is only one mile from the motorway but is in a really quiet but central location. The shops are a one minute walk away and there is a lovely riverside walk at the other end of the road. There is a good fish and chip shop opposite the house too. I hope to return for longer next time!

This place is perfect. Easy into the centre and Queens Park area is lovely. The flat is so great.

Absolutely fantastic stay in a beautiful home. Our family of five had plenty of space to spread out and we enjoyed the beautiful scenery, the wonderful village of Strathaven, and the great home. We very much appreciated the robes and slippers, which added to the coziness and comfort of the home. Naomi's suggestions for a local coffee shop and the best place to catch the train for Edinburgh were incredibly helpful. Our kids loved seeing the animals nearby (and especially enjoyed a visit from David the goat who Naomi brought down for us to pet). The house had everything we needed and was close to restaurants and supermarkets in the nearby village. It was a wonderful place to come back to after a day exploring all around Scotland. We highly recommend!

Really lovely cottage, very comfortable and cosy (especially with the log burner on!). Very well equipped. Good quality mattresses and bedding, making it extremely comfortable. Some very thoughtful touches too such as homemade scones and jam, which were top class! And all the essentials on the fridge for breakfast. Great location for visiting New Lanark Mill World Heritage Site. Not far out of Glasgow either.

We absolutely loved our few days at the old dairy. As many have said before me, it’s one of the best Airbnb’s we have stayed in. It’s a beautiful little house in a super quaint little village, but the standard of everything inside really was 5 star. Nothing feels like it has been scrimped on because it’s a rental. Lovely quality throughout and they have thought of everything that you might need. Thanks to Declan and Allison for creating such a special place to stay.

Lorraine’s place was great, big living space and comfortable beds with an apartment full of great amenities. 9 of us across 2 apartments was very spacious. Would definitely stay here again. 5/5

Great little cottage, very clean and had everything needed for our stay. Bedroom is very spacious with loads of light from the velux windows in roof. Great little sunroom. Very handy for lots of historic places to visit. Nice restaurants within short driving distance. Will definitely stay here again.

This was our first attempt at a Airbnb and wow what a great start. First look from the outside it looked tiny but once inside wow it was like walking into the Dr Who’s Tardis. Everything was spotless and in some cases looked new. The Kitchen included all the everyday essentials and some not so. There was Tea, Coffee and Sugar which I didn’t expect and even a pint of milk. The accommodation was warm and included a open fire which put my Scouting experience May years ago to good use 😊 Nothing was too far away with all the major supermarkets catered for. Cannot fault this location at all. Thank you Bruce.

Natalie's place was super clean, very modern and relaxing. The kitchen was really well equipped which was helpful as we were there as a big group. We had a 1 year old with us and the place was great for her as it had a stairgate and baby plates etc. We did have an issue with the hot water at one point, but Natalie responded straight away to my message to try and resolve the issue and was very friendly and helpful. The beds were also really comfortable!
