South London : locations de vacances avec petit déjeuner

Shirley is a lovely and gentle lady. I came to London to settle down and have been staying here for about a month while looking for my next rental. I feel at home with her, especially when we watch TV during dinner time. Haha.

Great place! Clean home and Anamaria was very hospitable. The neighborhood is really nice and diverse. The Herne Hill transit station is a short walk away, taking you straight to Victoria where you can then transfer to other lines. Bus stops are in super close distance too. Loved the retail stores and restaurants in the area.

There is a gate to get on the property and we were unable to call Miranda when at the gate due to poor reception. I imagine this was because we are from the US and ATT is our carrier and I suppose England does not have a lot of ATT towers for cellular. We were unable to make phone contact at the gate and drove about 5 or so minutes into town to get good phone coverage and drove back. The house was clean and in a pleasant area. Miranda was most helpful.

Lyn & Gavin were wonderful hosts! Their home was welcoming and beautiful. Both creatives, their space reflects this with great art, decor and personal touches throughout. I stayed in the Garden room, which was set back from the others, which allowed for extra privacy and peacefulness. I slept like a baby. My room was just down the hall from the bathroom, which was well equipped with many amenities and always spotless. Gavin’s sourdough was delicious! I enjoyed it with butter & soft boiled eggs some days and Nutella & bananas on others. The breakfast spread was superb. I’m glad I was able to start my days with a hearty meal before bopping around London. Lyn was so kind to let me borrow her jacket for a chilly day and recommended a spot where I could pick up a quick sweater. All in all — a lovely stay and I’d definitely choose their place again.

The host was very nice, we had a great time! There’s a fried chicken place nearby that’s cheap and good too. Everything is well prepared and is very clean when we checked in. The location is walkable to both the train station and bus station.

J'ai passé un agréable séjour dans cette chambre propre et fonctionnelle, idéale pour un court séjour. L'accueil était chaleureux, et Mara est bienveillante et attentionnée Seul petit bémol : l’emplacement un peu éloigné du centre de Londres, nécessitant environ une heure de trajet en voiture. Mais pour ceux qui recherchent le calme après une journée en ville, c'est un bon choix

This was a stress-free stay in Esher, close enough to the downtown area and activities, perfectly located. The flat was comfortable, very clean, and the bottle of prosecco was appreciated! Highly recommend!

Great hosts, we arrived and found the cleaners had let them down without them knowing, we told them at 7pm and the hosts were personally at the property by 8pm to give it a quick clean up and sort out! Great place great hosts

This flat was very comfortable for our party of three. The kitchen was well appointed and fully functional. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean. The location was very convenient to portabello road and it’s many shops and eateries and convenient to bus and tube lines. Check in and out were easy.

We spent a week at Wim’s place, and a few things stood out. Wim is a warm and excellent communicator. His directions were very clear and useful, and he made recommendations for local activities as well. He’s very responsive and it was very easy for us to get in touch with him anytime before and during the trip. The location is fantastic! 2-3 minutes walk from Leicester square station, and with plenty of walkable streets and things to do! The apartment itself was very practical and very nicely stocked. We really felt at home coming back to the apartment after busy days of walking and sightseeing. If back in London, will surely book it again!

Enzo and his mom are incredibly helpful and friendly. When we faced issues with the electricity, they would help us immediately. They are also very caring and did their best to ensure we are comfortable and satisfied with the stay. They are super generous with food and would sometimes bring down pizza for us. Thank you for having us and we had fun staying over! We would book again if we are staying in London! ❤️

Our family (2 adults with 3 teenagers) stayed at Jen & Matt’s place for 6 nights in March 2025. It was perfect for us. Lots of space and all the amenities we needed. We were on an early arriving flight and they allowed us early access to the flat, which was a lifesaver for that first day. The flat is in a lovely family-oriented neighbourhood with the beautiful Queen’s Park nearby. It is totally outside of the hustle and bustle of London, but right on the Bakerloo Line which allows super easy access to all the sights. It is also on the Lionness line which takes you directly to Watford Junction where you catch the shuttle to Warner Bros Studios to visit the Harry Potter sets. It couldn’t be better situated in my opinion. Jen & Matt provided milk, eggs, butter, jam, crumpets, tea and coffee to get us started, which was a really nice touch. There is a Tesco Express nearby, so it was easy to buy groceries. I did a load of laundry and everything worked fine. Highly recommend!

We've stayed her 3-4 times now and it's great. We keep coming back because it's very comfortable. Unlike a lot of places the couch is comfy, as are the chairs and beds. We can cook dinner, pop downstairs to 2-3 different markets, plus several pubs and restaurants, and bring food back. The nearby pedestrian zone even has a Marks and Spence market that's very nice (think Whole Foods). The area is great. Two very convenient trains and several buses. We like to walk and often go through London Fields to Broadway market. Kingsland Road is good for Turkish food, an interesting African market and a Pret a Manger. The host, Zoe, is extremely responsive and helpful. Would definitely come back if we go back to Hackney again.

Very good location and close to the city center. It is very convenient because there is a M&S nearby. The metro station is only 5 min and you could take the Bakerloo line to Oxford Circus within 20 min. Anna is very helpful and responsive to questions.

Sejour Parfait ! Le logement de Gocke est parfait à tous points de vue : - accueillant - cosy -pratique Gocke nous a accueilli avec ses enfants pour tout nous expliquer et même nous donner des conseils sur le quartier' Nous avons adoré Highams Park ❤️ L'appartement est situé à 100 m de l'overground, en face d'un grand supermarché. le quartier est calme mais animé : nous avons testé 2 restaurants turcs, un indien et un pub traditionnel : au top ! l'accès à Londres est très facile Nous étions ravis de rentrer le soir au calme après de grosses journees en ville et retrouver ce petit quartier sympa ! Merci Gocke ! Nous vous conseillons ce logement

We stayed at Anja's place for 2 nights.I loved her house ,it was cozy and stylish. It was a 5min walkable distance from canonbury train station.Great shopping places at hackney,oxford street and angel shopping centers.

Tout était absolument parfait , la maison est magnifique , la chambre est tres confortable, les sanitaires sont impeccables , le petit-déjeuner est délicieux et l'accueil est très chaleureux , je recommande à 200%

Fiona was so pleasant throughout our stay. Our breakfast conversations were amazing, and she always wanted to help us however she could. She was flexible with our check-in and check-out. Thank you!

We had a really great stay at the house of Sallie and her lovely dog Jack. The environment is great and we can recommend a walk on the thames, it is close by. There are also many ways to get to the inner city of London by public transport. Sallie was a great host and we enjoyed spending time at here place.

Five stars on all the rating criteria almost describes Margaret. But they do not reflect her kindness, compassion and flawless hospitality. After several stays in her home we consider her a treasured friend and look forward to future experiences with her and her lovely family.

A warm welcome by Patti and Dave (the dachshund) which prefaced a great weekend in Great Bookham. Perfect for our needs. Patti is an excellent host and has a relaxed approach to having guests in her lovely old home

Sonja was a delight. Attending the Stag theatre in Sevenoaks we needed somewhere close with breakfast. Sonja was charming , funny and very welcoming. The house was spotless and the bed very comfortable. A nice quiet area made for a good nights sleep. Breakfast was perfect and we would definitely return Kiitos Sonja
