First time in this area for me—Came here to enjoy a quiet getaway out in a forest-y area and it was really pleasant. This home was super cozy and cute and the neighborhood was equally charming. Would definitely return to this area for a longer stay! The restaurants and theater are easily walkable distances and there’s so much more food places to try.

Julia's place feels like home away from home. I had 6 family guests over to celebrate a family milestone. It was wonderful to have these memories created at Julia's place. The home is spacious. The kitchen was well organized and stocked. The backyard is beautiful. And above all Julia was very responsive. I needed a late check-out, Julia provided clear instructions on how this can be done and everything went smoothly. Best of wishes to her and all the future guests who want to call this place, home away from home.

The place was great with a group of friends, even had leftover rooms.

We took our electric car to Civic Center. It would be 80% charged at 11pm. We could have left it overnight. However, when we explained to Dave that we tired and were unable to charge from our arbnb unit; he explained it was very old wiring and that he would extend the power from the back with a 100 foot extension. It was a trickle charge using 120 amps. Yet his responsiveness and the convenience was very nice. He was so enthusiastic after talking with us that he thought he might buy an electric vehicle with it a 240amp charger which his guests could use for an additional charge. I was so grateful later to be able to relax by taking a walk right out the door. The air and sounds of the birds were refreshing. Walking through a fence entrance to the parking lot/lake, I found a trail along wetlands to a newer neighborhood next to & looping back to our older village-like neighborhood. Our West facing windows had a direct view of the Civic Center Spire which I loved.

Absolutely loved it and was so peaceful!! I would love to come back for a longer stay!

What a beautiful spacious place to stay. Our family of 6 loved it. Everyone had their privacy and we could all gather in the living room and dining room at once with plenty of seating. There was easy access to various places around the city. Overall it was one of the best AirBnBs we’ve stayed at. Thank You for making our family vacation wonderful.

Needed a place for a few days… and fell in LOVE with this hidden gem!!! Amazing hosts- Lori& Mike are the best! They are friendly , helpful and inviting- while simultaneously giving privacy and space. Not to mention all of the amazing work they are doing in and for the community- check out their bio!! The accommodations were beautiful, peaceful and intentional. And CLEAN!! Every space well curated. Home felt like a hug- and was filled with treasures! Looking forward to a return trip!! Beautiful location in the Clayton foothills. Quiet neighborhood with a nearby walking trail that was perfect for our pups. Lots of great space and comfortable beds - exactly what our family needed!

Thank you Maria. We were there for work but had a day off in between. We were planning on spending our day off doing something off property but we were already in the most beautiful place we could imagine. We felt like we were in our own private spa. Pool, Hot Tub, Spectacular flowers, grapevines, dining table on the patio and more outdoor space. The beds were comfortable and the bath & kitchen were both very nice. My family (parents, grandparents, and kids) stayed at this great waterfront home in March 2025. My kids loved the heated pool, hot tub, and kayak! We liked the well appointed kitchen and having lots of space to spread out across the five bedrooms. The only downside is that’s it’s a bit on the well used side and could use touch-ups here and there and one bedroom is a loft so we had to be aware of the noise level downstairs. That didn’t stop us from having a great time and using this as our jumping off point to the city (15-30 min depending on traffic) or North Bay for hiking, oysters, and wine.

Feng’s home was lovely and very spacious! We had a group of 8 guests staying and it could accommodate a larger group very well! Thank you for a lovely accommodation, Feng!

I stayed at the place to getaway to recharge. The place was great. Clean, cozy and nice tree views. The kitchen had everything I needed and the house was well equipped. Check in and out was super smooth. Melodie was so sweet and great from begging to end. Hope to come back when I need to recharge again.

Outstanding! Quiet, peaceful, beautifully appointed, clean, and friendly.

My stay for two nights was very comfortable and lots of amenities were provided in the Airbnb. Lots of kitchen amenities and shower products were available (shampoo + conditioner). Very comfortable bed and nice lineans. Spacious backyard which I brought my small dog with me. She also enjoyed her stay. Very clear instructions to follow to get inside. Plenty of parking on the side of the house. Highly recommended Li's Airbnb!

The "tiny" house was great, private, well appointed and comfortable. There is a small fenced in area which I appreciated for my dog. Also it was in an Oakland neighborhood I hadn't been to and I enjoyed walking around. Quick freeway drive to meet my friends in the Lake Merritt area. Heather was very responsive to my questions before I arrived. Once there I knew what to do. A great stay.

It’s a very private abode even though you share a gated entrance with the owner. Barry couldn’t have been friendlier and had a great spirt about him. We nerded out on landscaping, tiny homes, and rivers. He sold me on giving the American River some of my time this year. I’d absolutely stay here again. The only real issue was the effort to climb down a ladder half awake. I did it in the dark so I wouldn’t lose my cat eyes and wake up too fast. There’s plenty of outside lounging areas and the views are pretty. I had a decent view of the night sky to the east and above. The town may be busy but you’re perched hillside under some great live oaks. The neighborhood was full of quiet families and quirky houses that are truly Marin County in nature. Open space trails are just uphill and the town is just down. It’s very convenient to everything.

Joy’s place was absolutely fantastic. The room was peaceful and tucked away in a really serene backyard. The backyard is fenced and our pups were happy to explore. Joy was an excellent host, very accommodating, and extremely helpful. We would recommend her place to everyone.

This was definitely the best airbnb I've found in the area! The space was private and comfortable. Plenty of clean towels, toilet paper, and paper towels (a surprising annoyance of mine with stays other places!). Responsive host. Helpful instructions. Felt right at home in the space. Clean and tidy. Comfy bed, pillows (actually 4 of them, thank you!), and overall temperature of the apartment. Easy check-in and check-out. One thing to note is that it is conveniently located across from bart station, so there is some noise associated with that, but you ARE in the city, so there's that. It didn't really bother me, just something to note if you're a light sleeper (but the bed was so comfy, it didn't phase me much!). I stayed for 12 days, and it was perfect for my needs. I would definitely stay again! Thank you!!

Great stay while visiting relatives in Menlo Park and East Palo Alto. Nice neighborhood. Easy to get in and out of the neighborhood. Quick access to the 101 with nearby shopping options. Very helpful and responsive hosts. The home was clean and as advertised. Would definitely stay here again.
