The location was nice, and the host was really responsive when we reached out to her. There were a few problems such as broken doors and an unpleasant smell that started as a mildew smell and turned into the smell of sewage. They explained to us that it might be due to the nearby road work and that it’s not something that has happened before. We got a refund after explaining the situation to them so we appreciate the host trying to make things right for us. Other than that, there was a good amount of space, was pretty clean, and they had entertainment on the TV so we could watch movies which made the stay more relaxing and enjoyable.

Meghan’s apartment was a cozy, lovely spot for my husband and I to recharge while visiting family in the neighborhood. Clean, quiet, and walkable to great coffee and restaurants nearby! We’ll be back if it’s available.

My group and I enjoyed our stay at Jie's place. The location was perfect for us. Jie was very helpful and communicative.

This was a beautiful place with an excellent view of Lake Michigan. Both rooms had comfortable beds and setup with everything you need. Kitchen is well stocked, but we mostly ordered Grub Hub, lol. Loved spending time here and great place to hangout and chat with friends. It is right on the water and we really enjoyed watching the waves crash against the barrier. It is on the 2nd floor, but the stairs are not bad at all. Felt very safe and having the parking space is a great perk. Very commutative and checked in with us to make sure everything was fine. Would definitely stay here again!

This is a great unit, perfect for our needs! Very roomy and well-maintained. Hosts were very communicative and helpful. It is difficult to find *anything* to quibble about, but: The laundry room, though very convenient, is very busy, requiring us more than once to wait for an opening or to shift loads of others from one machine to another. This is the fifth BnB we have stayed at in Chicago and the very best! Thank you, Joseph and Billy!

Pristinely clean and a very pleasant smell throughout the entire place, well cleaned and stocked on essentials. Left detailed instructions that were easy to follow, and accurate. Welcoming and considerate, even warned us about ice and provided snacks. Very kind, highly recommended.

Spotlessly clean. Low-key beautiful and peaceful, with very lovely lakeshore light. Should be three times more expensive than it is. For the price, this might be the best Airbnb in all of Chicago. I will stay there again.

The home looks small from the outside but small is the last word I’d use to describe this place. All of the character and space makes this a true hidden gem. Not to mention the full-size basement with plenty room for larger families to enjoy makes this place a perfect booking.

This house was perfect for a gathering with family. The house was clean and just as we had expected.

Robert was very attentive to questions and concerns. He responded very quickly! Very accommodating to our needs and made us feel comfortable! Definitely will be booking again in the future!

BART is a great host. My friends who travel from overseas is not aware of the check in time, BART responded right away and let them into the house. Really appreciated what he has done for us. House is super clean. Location is great, restaurants nearby. I will recommend this place to other people!

I think this was my fav Airbnb yet. Convenient, very clean and a great kitchen! My dog enjoyed the backyard and the neighborhood was nice. I misplaced the house keys and Joanna responded immediately and had a solution! Thank you so much for that!!!! Would love to stay again when we visit family next year.

Great stay at Luke’s place. Walkable to campus, is as described in the listing, snacks saved me after a long evening of travel and the fact there was coffee already there for the morning was lovely. Great place in a quite neighborhood. Close to the convention center and really close to some awesome restaurants.

John’s place was clean and cozy. The kitchen was immaculate and we appreciated the nespresso machine and pods. The location was excellent, many food and drink choices right outside the door. It was amazing to have our own parking spot! There are a lot of stairs but that is expected in the city. I would definitely recommend this spot to my friends.

I had an amazing time. Ariel was a great host.the house was Beautiful nice neighborhood very quiet ran into the downstairs. Neighbor was very nice and helpful all activities. I had planned within 15 minutes of our location most definitely will be booking again for summertime.

Brian was a great host very responsive and welcoming. The space is very comfortable, quiet and has everything you need and more. Thank you for the bidets in each bathroom. I still don’t understand how this is not standard in every home. Would definitely stay here again!

This place was great and very accommodating for our for our family of 6 (parents & 4 young adult kids). We were able to walk everywhere. Hosts were very communicative and very responsive. And, what a surprise to wake up to a delivery of Stan's Donuts!!! Definitely would recommend this place to anyone visiting Chicago.

The house was very spacious, especially on the main floor. It had almost everything we needed. A few suggestions would be a bluetooth speaker, body lotion and some re-usable grocery bags so you can walk to a local convenience store and carry back what you need. It would also be great to have filtered water in the house, we were just drinking the tap. The kitchen was great and is where we spent most of our time. Getting in from the front gate was a little difficult because you only have 5 seconds before the door locks and the first unit inside the door isn't labeled so we were unsure which door at first. Overall, the beds were comfy, it was easy to get Ubers, there were enough towels and we felt comfortable and safe.
