We had a car breakdown on the way and the host was very understanding and offered to be flexible and even offered a refund for the next day so despite not staying with them in the end as we had to get towed away back home, felt a very deserving five star award.

We really loved staying here - our getaways with a toddler + 2 dogs can be stressful, but this was such a great place to stay that it removed all stress. The location was peaceful and quiet, the village itself was small and walkable for the local pub and playground for our daughter. It was easy to drive to local tourist spots and all the roads were fine. The accommodation itself was comfortable and clean and had all we needed. Can’t thank our hosts enough for such a pleasant stay.

Perfectly situated for us as we were travelling on the ferry but wanted a short stop in Poole first. Tucked away down a pretty street right near the quay. Lots going on there and plenty of nice eateries. The room had everything we needed for our stay.

Fiona’s place is a perfect place to stay! Great location to walk to many places in Weymouth. She is the most friendly and wonderful host we’ve ever met. The breakfast is incredible. Our time with Fiona quickly became the best part of our trip. Her recommendations of things to do in the local area were great. I highly recommend a stay here!

We had a wonderful time staying at Naomi’s. She was the perfect host and always on hand to help. The room itself was cosy, peaceful and centrally located to where we needed to be. Along with finishing touches such as tea, coffee, milk, fruit and Welsh cakes which were a lovely touch. I would highly recommend staying at Naomi’s to anyone.

Such a wonderful find! We loved that we had our own wing of the house. Huge ultra comfortable bed with soft linen in a warm, cosy, beautifully lit and decorated bedroom. The bathroom had the same attention, with large shower and big soft towels. We had use of a living room with an enormous soft sofa. In the morning Sophie made us the most delicious muesli, that I keep thinking of since eating!, with warm croissants and extra fruits. We both felt thoroughly spoilt. There was such an amazing attention to detail, she had thought of everything we may need. We just need to find another excuse to stay there!! Thank you so much Sophie & Paddy for a truly wonderful stay!

Had a lovely 2 night stay. Ann’s house is really nice and spotlessly clean. The bedroom and bathroom are light and airy and have everything you could possibly need. The breakfast was very good and the homemade Welsh Cakes absolutely delicious. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Louis is a top class host , he provides a comfortable , spotlessly clean and efficient place to stay. We liked the fact that we got clear instructions to access the house / room and effective help when we needed it. Thank you again ! Also great street parking - would highly recommend Louis’s place if your staying in Sandbanks.

David en Paul zijn duidelijk ervaren hosts. heel aardig, open (en grappig) en super behulpzaam. wij raden deze airbnb van harte aan. Mochten we ooit in de buurt weer wat gaan doen dan komen we graag weer genieten van het heerlijke ontbijt!

An absolutely beautiful place to stay. The caravan was lovely as was the main house. The shower was great. We had a Mezze in the evening and it was divine. Complimentary breakfast was very yummy. I loved the space out the front for my daughter to play on the grass and watch the cat and chickens. A beautiful walk through the orchard on the public footpath next to the caravan. The hosts were faultless. I would definitely go back

Absolutely loved the warmth, love and hospitality of Sarah and Mark. Very friendly to speak to, and they were concerned about my well being overall. The house is in a lovely area, with restaurants around and is well connected with public transport. I was running the Cardiff half marathon and they were most gracious in asking about and preparing any pre-race (specific diet) meals, and did also research on how and what time to get to the race. Post race they were absolutely lovely too and made me feel like I was in my my own home. The breakfast prepared was a beautiful touch and reminded me of my childhood. I appreciate all the conversations we had and will remember both of you for the respect, love and care you showered me with. I will definitely visit again.

Beautifully appointed cosy space. Immaculately clean and fresh. Lots of lovely little touches; croissants, real butter, a cupboard full of cereals & plenty of tea & coffee & that includes proper. ground coffee! Super comfy beds with lovely, snuggly duvets with extra blankets, if required. They weren't needed as it was nice & toasty. Great bathroom with walk in shower. Only wished I could have stayed longer! Thank you Andy & Debs for your kind hospitality, it was a very last minute booking, but you were both very accommodating. Will definitely be back!

We stayed at Sue’s lovely place for a wedding nearby! She was so warm and welcoming. The beds were really comfy and the water pressure was great. She made us breakfast in the morning with yoghurt, fresh fruit and toast, and gave us a little tour around their home - the old chapel! Lovely stay and we’d definitely go back! Thank you xx

A stunning annexe that was in perfect condition. Beautifully furnished and clean, it's a stunning apartment for a weekend getaway by the sea. Also a lovely touch to have breakfast delivered to us in the morning - would absolutely recommend!

Darren and Chi made us feel so welcomed in their home. Breakfast was delicious and they were extremely flexible and accommodating. Their home is ideally located adjacent to a stairway leading into Bournemouth Upper Gardens and about a 16 min jog to Bournemouth main pier/beachfront. Perfect if you're looking for a weekend away on the coast!

A very enjoyable stay at Ali’s place. Comfortable, clean, quiet, everything I needed. Lovely rural location but close enough to small villages/local shop/cafe. The most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. Ali is a great host. Friendly, welcoming, committed to making your stay as comfortable as possible. Provides the perfect balance of keeping you company with great banter or just leaving you alone to de stress and relax. Her place isn’t far from my parent’s house (Woodville) so was perfect. Pip, the whippet - well if I had room in my suitcase I would have taken her back with me! Definitely book again. An absolute gem of a place.

Lyn was a great host and was very flexible with arrangements the place was spotless comfy and Lyn provides a breakfast the room was just what i needed and very easy access to restaurants and motorway can't recommend this place enough and is very near to Bristol Parkway station

Maria's loft is a gem. Located in a quiet Dorset village with good access to the south coast, it is beautifully and lovingly decorated and furnished, and is a great place to spend a dark winter evening away. Maria was delightful and could not have been more welcoming.

I stayed with Avril for one night and she is a very good host. The place was spotless, and in my room, which had a lockable door, I had tea and coffee making facilities, plus use of the main kitchen, for which she had bought me bread to toast for breakfast, as well as some chocolate filled buns. It's now my go to place to stay whenever I visit the area.

It was a pleasure to stay at Ian and Wilma’s beautiful house. The setting is so peaceful and their home has a wonderfully calm atmosphere. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious with homemade preserves. Ian was so helpful and informative….we felt very welcome and really enjoyed our stay.

We had a lovely couple of days at Tudor Rose cottage. The cottage is very quirky with the furniture making it feel like what you'd expect the inside of a thatched cottage to look like. It was very clean & cozy with a super bed complete with lovely linen. The cottage is situated on the Trailway path so great for a lovely walk taking in beautiful countryside & river views. We visited the local pub & were really impressed with the service, food & local ales. I don't think Denise could of done any more than she has to make her guest's welcome. Her welcome pack a surprise & very much appreciated. I'm sure we will be back for hopefully a slightly longer stay next time.
