Christie and Katelyn are excellent hosts! They communicated with us during the trip and made sure if we had any questions or concerns that we could always reach out to them! Their cabin was perfect for our weekend trip! One of the things that stood out the most to us, was how clean it was! It was one of the cleanest cabins we’ve ever rented before! It was very cozy! The stream ran right through the back yard and was less than a step to the left after you walked down the back steps. The sound of the stream was so relaxing while sitting on the back porch! To top it all off, the hot tub was the cherry on top! Our family will be back to enjoy another weekend at this location very soon!!

Thank you so much Rick and Trisha for giving us the most beautiful retreat for our honeymoon!! The cabin really is straight out of a movie, with the hand made features and cosy fireplace, not to mention the beautiful views which were magical, especially at sunset!! We were extremely comfortable and loved the personal touches of teas and coffees and snacks waiting for us too. We went on a walk to incredible views straight from the cabin, and relaxed in the hot tub afterwards. This really is the place to be in the mountains! We cannot recommend it enough!

Beautiful home and peaceful location. Perfect for a recent girls trip, about 20 minutes to everywhere we wanted to go. Shari and Spencer were very thoughtful in leaving us a bottle of wine, chocolates, fresh eggs, cream and even homemade tea bags from their garden. The home itself is beautifully decorated and all the bedrooms are a very nice size. We enjoyed seeing Asheville but it was great to just relax at the house ! Would definitely recommend !

My partner and I were traveling from Miami to Indiana and had a nice recovery/rest day in Tennessee. We spent most of our day outside in the hot tub and had a bonfire in the evening, which were both amazing. We were able to pay $5 for an armload of firewood that was provided in front of the house. The home was absolutely spotless. One of the cleanest places we have stayed at. They also provided a good amount of bath towels which was nice. If you’re looking for a peaceful, quiet place to get away I would highly recommend this place. The views are beautiful.

Nice location in a great little town right near the Appalachian Trail. Had everything we needed for our stay. Would definitely recommend.

The cabin was perfect for a quick getaway in the mountains! Very private and secluded but very accessible and convenient to surrounding hiking trails. However, staying locked away in the cabin was also an extremely cozy option with the hot tub, fire pit and grilling/cooking options. Would highly recommend and will certainly look to return in the future!

Such a cute place, and the hosts were super nice and accommodating! We'd love to bring a big group up here and rent out adjacent places - would be so fun for a mountain getaway! Will definitely come back.

Absolutely breathtaking views… very cozy and relaxing

I had a wonderful experience here! Just looking for a calm and fun weekend away, this cabin provided exactly that! The place was well furnished and stocked with everything you could need from toiletries to towels to cooking supplies. Esther was awesome and super communicative, and she gave plenty of instructions on how things worked, what activity were nearby, and lots and lots of other details. 10/10, not a single complaint I can think of!

Beautiful location and lovely cabin! We were so thankful to our hosts for being able to accommodate us and allow us to visit our family for the holidays as WNC recovers from Helene. They were so kind and even left us cookies (+ treats for our pups)! <3

This is the perfect little getaway. It has a very homey feeling and not the standard modern look nowadays. It’s about 30 minutes from Gatlinburg and you’re away from most of the tourist and traffic. Absolutely perfect and the waterfall is surreal. Would definitely come back

5 stars in almost every category. Overall we had an awesome time and our girls enjoyed being so up close and personal with all of the animals! And the house was decorated for Christmas which was such a nice touch! We would love to come back to experience the area in the summer months!

Kids loved the hot tub and air hockey!!! Great place...front porch to relax as well as the back porch. we spent alot of time looking at the fireplace and just relaxing....sooooo Many Deer to keep us enentertained!! highly recommend

We had a great stay! The directions that Rachel were perfect and helped us have no issue finding the cabin - even when we arrived at night. We were prepared with a 4WD vehicle due to predicted snow while we were there, and it worked out well with the 1”-2” they got. The “driveway” and road leading to the cabin is a narrow, curvy, steep, one-lane gravel road, but for us (from a small rural town) it was no big deal, and it wouldn’t be for anyone in the non-snowy months. The space was clean and had a nice view! Beds were comfortable and clean. Rachel was quick to respond to questions or concerns. We appreciate her sharing their space with us!

The place was as described and as depicted in the pictures, warm, cozy and small. I went there with my son to spend a night before taking off early for a ski day in a nearby ski resort. For that purpose, the place was great and inexpensive. We arrived late at night, barely interact with the hosts by text on arrival and took off early in the morning. I will go back to this place if I go skiing again to that area.

We absolutely LOVED our stay! The cabin was super secluded and quiet, which is what we had been looking for. The trail right behind the cabin leading into the National Forest was super well-maintained and easy to walk, and other trails on the property were also easy to find and walk. For longer hikes it was less than 10 minutes to Lake James State Park. The kitchen area/stove is small but functional. Definitely ideal for cooking meals for 2-3 people but not for large meals for large groups. Internet was fairly reliable (had some issues during a small rainstorm with staying connected) and we found that our cell service was decent (AT&T). The bed in the bedroom was comfortable but the pullout couch had a tendency to sag to the back at times. The bathroom was clean and comfortable, but the ceiling is shorter than the rest of the cabin and I (6 foot tall) had only a few inches of clearance. Shower had plenty of hot water and linens were clean. We would definitely stay here again!

What a find! If you are looking for a great place to disconnect, this is it. Wonderful cabins, great indoor kitchen and then an outdoor kitchen space that would rival any high price resort. Hosts that were friendly, accommodating, and made you feel at home and part of the family. We look forward to our next trip”home” and seeing what is new with our “family”.

We had a great stay here! Peaceful, tucked away cabin but still nearby plenty of activities! Loved the fire pit as well!

A beautiful place…very clean & orderly. Precarious road up due to Hurricane Helene but that will hopefully be temporary. Julie was very kind & helpful.
