Perfect spot to explore the isle! The place was immaculately clean, incredibly comfortable bed, the kitchen had everything we needed and the welcome treat was so kind and lovely. Paul was so friendly and gave us great recommendations. Would recommend and stay again!

What a magical place! We absolutely loved our stay here and already dream of coming back. The inside is soooo beautiful and comfortable that we didn’t mind staying in on rainy days. We could never get sick of watching the sheep roaming the hillsides or the ever changing coast from the fabulous sunroom. The only downside is we were unaware of the time involved to bring the wood-fired hot tub up to temp. It takes an hour to fill with water and “up to 3.5 hours to heat in the winter”. Since we can’t leave the fire unattended, we weren’t able to enjoy it until our third night since we arrived home so late on the previous nights. It is also very hard to find in the dark and the pin led us to the wrong spot. Google Mapsing the house name took us to the right spot, but we arrived in the dark and were unable to see the sign to the bottom right of the gate. Everything else was completely perfect and we highly recommend staying in this lovely place.

Beautiful place, the photos really don't do it justice. Very modern, clean and well laid out. We really appreciated the extra touches, the toiletries and essentials in the kitchen were great. We also loved our visits from Lulu (the cat) in the evenings. Thank you for having us.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the beautiful little cottage. Like a tardis with a nice roomy, cosy interior. Lots of space for cooking and very well equipped. The cottage has a fascinating history, which we learned from Maria, information in the cottage and a mention in the Kildonian museum, which especially opened for us as it closes for the winter in October. Despite the closure of cafes and tourist sites for the winter, we still managed lots of beautiful walks with magical views, and to shop well for a restorative feast at the end of the day. Also, enjoyed a fanastic evening of Scottish music at the Ceolas centre and a trip to Barra and the cafe in the lovely community gardens there, plus stocking up on seafood at the Barratlantic shop and things to take home at the Buth Bharraigh community shop. A lovely place to stay and a great location.

The place was perfect for what we needed. Added bonus was meals you can order from her (ask for the menu options, she has different size servings). We got the steak pie and it was delicious, perfect after a day of adventures. She is a great chef! Also walk to the end of the road for sunset (or you can drive) it's about a mile, but an easy, flat walk through various water spots where wildlife is. We saw peregrine falcon, ibis and many water birds. Caught the backside of an otter as well. The caravan is one of three in an area right off the road, but is fairly private. Based on research we did, it's the best deal you will find and very worth it. Highly recommend and Bernadette is lovely. Erin go bragh!

Cannot say enough great things about this home. Located in a peaceful setting, modern amenities and great location to check out the rest of Skye. Had a great week away from the world. Great hosts with great recommendations as well!

Elaine was very helpful and she provided additional information for the other islands we were visiting. The location of the accommodation was absolutely stunning. The cabin was furnished very well and very clean. A very enjoyable stay and we would recommend this stay to friends.
