This was a lovely spot at which to wind up our three weeks in NZ--closeby to family in Paraparaumu and all the delights of Kapiti Coast, but also an easy drive into the city for the airport. The views out to the Tasman sea and Kapiti are so special. It's a real taste of NZ beach bach life! The beds are very clean and comfortable, and we loved having the bonus of a bathtub after Airbnbs with showers only. The driveway is a little upward and winding in places, but if you take it easy, you will make it easily, and are rewarded with spectacular views and fantastic access to the beach. We walked down and up the driveway with kids to the beachfront easily. There is bird life and flowers all around you as you incline. We made it up in a big truck, and our friend made it up easily the next evening for dinner in a small sedan. We enjoyed the games and the beautiful dining area with wraparound views. Toni was kind, responsive, and helpful.

Was exactly what we needed. Restful comfortable clean and well appointed. Care has been taken to present so well. A beautiful character villa. Thank you for all the extra touches.

Great stay with our extended family for Christmas. Loved the visits from puppies next door and patting the horses over the fence. We also enjoyed firing up the pizza oven in the sunshine for lunch and dinner. Thanks Ash.

Stunning home in a lovely location! The beach access was fantastic. Spacious and comfortable. Perfect place to catch up with friends. Would book again and will be recommending others to book as well!

A family break away for the seniors. Accomodation was as showed in the pictures, but felt even better. To wake up and look out the window over the grape vines full of grapes ready to be picked, relaxing. The weather turned bad one day so we lit the fire, plenty of dry wood inside and on the porch. Wineries close by, and plenty of restaurants in town. The Royal Hotel at Featherston is well worth a visit, lovely meals.

We had a perfect stay at Margi's place - our kids wished we lived there! There was a great amount of space, the breakfast foods were gratefully appreciated, we took equal advantage of the board games and cozy blankets, everyone was extremely comfortable in their bedrooms, and the location was great for a stroll into town! We would definitely stay again.

We had a wonderful time at the property. It was clean and felt cosy. The host was very responsive at all times and we had no issues. Highly recommended and would love to come back.

We had a wonderful weekend here. The property was lovely and private, you didn’t know there were neighbours. It was fully fenced and secure, perfect for bringing our dog. The house was beautifully furnished and comfortable, the kitchen had everything you need. We’ll definitely stay again.

A wonderful place, with stunning views and real peacefulness while being close to vineyards, restaurants and (important with a two year old) playgrounds. The hosts could not have been more helpful - thank you.

We always stay here when we come to Martinborough and Greytown. It's the perfect location and we feel very comfortable. The bedding is pristine and the decor is pleasing to the eye. We stopped here for two nights on our travels down to Canterbury in our camper van and travelling with our cat. The photos don’t do it justice. The apartment (attached to owner’s home) is light filled and spacious with bags of character and modern amenities. Everything we needed for a lovely home away from home but with more charm and a beautiful garden setting.

Audrey’s place is so serene! The perfect place for a little getaway in the summer with the swimming pool right outside. Audrey and family were very welcoming and very responsive. The place is clean and tidy and she offered us fruit from her orchard which we got to pick and are just Devine! Highly recommend Audrey’s place to anyone that needs a reset. Like a home away from home.

Multi-generational comfort. We stayed with our kids and their grandparents and aunt who just loved watching them play in the pool, spa and games room. Everyone was comfortable and able to sleep well as there’s plenty of space.

The place was tidy and perfect for guests traveling with dogs. Our dog had a wonderful time exploring the secure front yard, allowing us to relax since it is gated and separate from the main house. The carport is an excellent feature, providing safety for our vehicle. Mary and Ross have truly redefined the Airbnb experience for us. While many Airbnbs today don’t provide breakfast, they generously offered a variety of options, including toast, cereals, chocolate biscuits, yogurt, chocolates, fruits, and eggs. We are truly grateful for their hospitality and will definitely be booking with them again.

Had a great stay at David's with the partner and young dog.. treats on arrival were a nice surprise plenty of firewood. push bikes were a bonus. easy check in and easy communication with David.. house was tidy with plenty to keep entertained with local information provided. was perfect location for what we were after for a short trip. morning trip to Morrisons bush. lunch and drinks at the wineries. night out at a few bars in martinborough, finished with some whitebaiting out the coast of Lake ferry. cheers david

less than 5 mins drive from beach. Quiet and is a home away from home. lovely cafe around the corner. close to all kapiti coast beaches and short commute to Wellington. great kitchen with all the utensils and good BBQ. Beds were comfy. highly recommend a stay here.

We had the pleasure of staying at Posh Paws cottage, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! From the moment we arrived, Juli made us feel incredibly welcome and went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The property itself was beautiful, clean, and exactly as described in the listing—if not even better in person! Julie provided fantastic local recommendations that made our trip even more enjoyable. our stay at the Whare was perfect for the weekend. The place was cute, private and exactly described when booking. Prue popped over to say hello as we were packing up to leave, which was nice. The rest of the time we were left to our own. would highly recommend and stay there again ourselves.

Off the grid but everything we needed. Great to meet the animals on our walk to the river. Flowing creek with water wheel, friendly piwakawaka, tons of stars overhead in the night sky. Just a peaceful, picturesque, lovely place to stay and Jane made us very welcome.
