We had a nice one night stay at Melanie's place, which was really clean with top-notch amenities, and tastefully decorated. The door opens to a beautiful and peaceful garden with straight access to the hot tub. Melanie allowed us to come one hour earlier and communication with her was smooth and prompt. Thank you for such a memorable stay.

What a fantastic place. You instantly felt like home from the moment you walked in, really clean and had everything you needed to cook meals from scratch in the kitchen. Great location if you don’t want to drive, everything is a couple minutes walk from the house - can easily walk to the beach or the shops without driving. Bonus for us, there was an EV charger that Sue remote controlled so we could just plug in and top the car up. Would love to stay again, not sure we’ll ever get weather this good again though.

Richard’s property felt like a home from home and made the perfect base for a family weekend supporting our youngest at a local football tournament. The level of detail and cleanliness is exceptional and offered everything you’d need for a comfortable family stay. Beds were all comfortable in airy rooms with fresh linen. Decor is great shape and taste with some amazing wooden features such as the fireplace, window shelves, hot tub lodge and gorgeous coffee table that if I’m not mistaken was all expertly crafted by the host himself. The hot tub is a great feature and certainly helped with Jacks sore muscles after his tournament. Keynsham high street is a ten min walk from the property which also provides spacious off road parking for two vehicles. We had a loverly relaxed stay at Richards property and would highly recommend for anyone looking to explore the beautiful local area. Finally, thank you Richard for the great stay and also the loverly bottle of fizz that welcomed our arrival.

We have just returned from a fabulous long weekend at Willow Barn celebrating my sister’s 50th birthday. The property is amazing with lots of room for all the guests and our dogs. Having the hot tub was lovely and something we all enjoyed 😊 We managed to find lots to do within easy reach from Powick including walks, hill climbing, shopping and visits to a few pubs!!! There is also off road parking for two cars which was really helpful. I would definitely recommend staying at this delightful barn.

Great place to stay in Porthtowan. 7 minute walk to/from the beech if being dragged along by our dog, but be aware of relatively steep incline on that walk back! The house was great for our family of four (teenage kids) plus the dog, and the perfect place to unwind after a day in the in the surf. Sarah was a great host proactively checking in to make sure all was well. Electric vehicle drivers will be pleased to know that there are public charge points in car park by the beech, and Tesla Superchargers 12 minute drive away. The only negative is that the two bars in Porthtowan (The Blue Bar, and especially The Unicorn) are pretty expensive for a family of 4 to eat and drink, but the village shop is well stocked and very friendly so it’s easy enough to make a few home cooked meals at Sarah’s place.

A lovely, relaxing couple of nights stay. The Coach House has all you need, is warm and cosy and very comfortable. The beds are super comfy and the duvets really warm and cosy. The garden is very private and a lovely feature, and for anyone staying in warmer weather has everything you need to spend plenty of time outdoors. If you're looking to keep your steps up, try a walk round the lakes, lots of bird life, very interesting. The lighting system took a bit of getting used to but is very ambiant and well thought out. The kitchen has plenty of space so you can cook and chat. It would have been good if the oven had worked but we were told about this beforehand and provided with an airfryer so could work around this quite easily. The host was always quick to respond, kept in touch and made our stay very easy. I would recommend The Coach House for a very relaxing and comfortable stay. All the quirky little touches make The Coach House quite unique and we would definately return.

Lovely location on the river. Hot tub was a great bonus. The stairs as noted are very steep, but our small children (age 4/5) managed them - always with our supervision. Nice welcoming touches which were very appreciated. Great communication when needed. The nearby parking is very close, and had we needed it there was always space, however we managed to park outside the house. The house was very clean and tidy, and worked perfectly for our weekend away.

We had a wonderful stay at Coombe Villa. Simon and Charlie were so helpful and responsive. They really went over and above to help us and provide anything that we needed. The house is great and so well equipped with everything that you could need. We travelled with two very young children and it was ideal - everything very easy and cots, blackout blinds and more were provided. The house is spotless and so well designed. It’s within easy walking distance of lots of amenities and the guidebook provided by the hosts was so helpful. We would highly recommend this thank you for such a great stay!

Super place to stay for the holidays. Great location with a few walking routes. The lodge was very clean and tidy, and super additions such as a hot tub and a teapot (Husband loved it as it reminded him of his mum's house).

Us 9 from 7 to 70 had a really great holiday. Despite sometimes dodgy weather, we loved using the numerous house facilities. The sheltered from breeze,wellness area exceeded expectations, especially hot tub & sauna & was well maintained.Also much family football ! & basketball. The outdoor gym a good perk. Pizza oven good fun too. Indoors budding pianists explored their talents ! The conservatory was beautiful to relax & eat family meals in if we couldn't eat outside. Locally the walk to Porth beach for us was fine & walk to the island beautiful. We made use of the body boards & kids wetsuits at the house and all tried out paddle boarding at the Gannell ( again free because the house offered inflatable board ). So busy we only watched 1 film in the cinema / playroom, but it's a great asset to have, as was the annexe, a real little home. the lettuces growing if we wanted & just the huge space in & out. Unlike many places, upstairs was spacious & all fully carpeted, so very quiet.

We can't recommend Lindsey and Kaye's place enough! Beautiful surroundings in peace and quiet, perfect for our dog to run around and enjoy the land. The hot tub was used every evening and was a real treat after a long day of walking, it was also tucked away and private which made it more relaxing and enjoyable (not all hot tubs in Airbnb's are!). The comfty bed, massive rain shower, stunning kitchen/lounge area were all incredible, but having the views, open space,, and all the little touches that Lindsey and Kaye have added are what make this stay special. Lindsey showed us around and was always on hand to chat and recommend things/give helpful advice, and Kaye was kind enough to show us how the pizza oven works and make sure we were okay! As I said, I can't recommend this place enough, especially if you have a dog (ours loved playing with their beautiful dog, Dodger). The pictures don't do it justice! Quick recommendations: Praa Sands, Porthcurno Beach & Minack Theatre - must see!

Extremely well equipped, welcoming, super clean, plenty of instructions and information about the house and area. Comfortable beds, tastefully decorated, super garden, plenty of parking, great hot tub, acres of storage, what wasn’t to like!

Had a fabulous time. Dogs. Welcome every we’re. Children walked Alpacas and went horse ridding. They loved it all . The youngest (6) . Cried cause she wonted to stay haha .So glad we came .

Amazing house for a family celebration. Felt at home straight away, spotlessly clean and everything we needed was available. Hot tub was a great addition and was checked daily. Matthew and team were very quick to respond to anything we needed. Would definitely return and recommend to family and friends.

Me and my partner have just finished our stay with alpine grove and would highly recommend visiting. We stayed in the woodpecker lodge and from the log burner to the hot tub everything about this lodge was perfect, Kieth and Serena service is amazing and we can’t wait to visit again soon. From booking to departing the service was excellent, the host Peter was friendly and helpful. The cabin itself was even better than the photos, in an idyllic setting and had everything you would need. Sat on the porch or in the hot tub, it was peaceful and relaxing. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

Spent the weekend here with my fiancé for her 30th and a friend's wedding, simply amazing. Very peaceful and beautiful place to stay in the country. Also very private, didn't see a soul other than deer, pheasants and rabbits the whole time at the place. Tom was also very responsive and helpful. Instructions very clear and in depth. Would recommend and we'll hopefully be back.

Owen’s cabin was amazing—really private, peaceful, and had everything we needed and more. It was super cosy, clean and had a really homely vibe. The kitchen had everything, the bed was comfy and it just felt like a proper escape. The hot tub was a dream—such a nice way to chill in the evening and it felt really private too which made it even better. You can tell a lot of thought has gone into making the place feel special. Owen was great to deal with—really helpful and quick to reply. Would definitely recommend and would love to come back!

We really enjoyed our stay, the place was clean and tidy and had everything we needed for a short stay away from home. The surrounding area was beautiful and peaceful and we enjoyed the dark skies and view of the stars from the hot tub ❤️ Thank you very much x

We had an amazing stay at Maya and Robin’s beautiful cabin! The surroundings were absolutely stunning, and the cabin itself was spotless, cosy, and welcoming—especially with the fireplace already lit when we arrived. It was the perfect peaceful getaway. Maya and Robin were fantastic hosts, incredibly kind and thoughtful. The enclosed garden was a huge bonus, giving my dogs plenty of space to roam and relax. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a tranquil retreat/getaway - we'll definitely be coming back!

We had an amazing stay with Victoria, the cabin had everything you could need and all the logs to keep the hot tub going all weekend. The pizza oven was a lovely addition and the pellets needed were all supplied. The surroundings were absolutely beautiful and very peaceful. I wish we could have stayed longer! Great place to stay. Stayed as couple for a quiet birthday celebration, absolutely delightful. Set up is lovely and the host is very responsive. Even had little cakes and Prosecco on arrival and fresh eggs dropped off in the morning. Fantastic highly recommend
