We had a really lovely stay at Carol’s shepherd’s hut. It was cosy and in such an idyllic location where we were able to fully wind down and relax for our stay. The added touches made a difference and Carol was proactive in her communication which was lovely. Thank you for a lovely stay!

We had such a lovely time at the shepherds hut, a perfectly peaceful and quiet get away - just what we needed! Great location for picturesque walks. We walked along Offas Dyke took 2.5 hrs straight from the hut. The local town had everything you needed only a short drive or 20 min walk away. We grabbed a takeaway pizza from Daphnes which was very delicious. Despite wet weather all weekend it did not dampen our spirits. The covered kitchen was a perfect location to cosy up and watch the thunder and lightning. It had everything you needed to make breakfast. The provided bread, bacon, eggs & milk were a lovely addition. The bed was very very comfy and the hut was clean, tidy & cosy. The hill up to the hut is steep but the provided wheelbarrow helped. Leaving in the rain was hilarious.

We had a lovely 2 night stay at the hut. Fiona was a really great host who came out to us even though it was late and raining! The hut was super warm on arrival and it has an internal heater and towel rail which is nice. It was also nice to be welcomed with some baked goods which we enjoyed the next morning. The bed was super comfy and we slept really well. The hot tub was nice to relax in… you get all the stuff provided for it which is good and on previous experiences this isn’t always the case. We used the Fire pit and you get some cushions to use which are under the bed and extra blankets which again is really nice. It’s exceptionally well thought out and the lord of added extras make it really nice. Would deffo return

Beautiful bespoke shepards hut. Very comfortable with everything you might need. Stunning location within easy reach of Beautiful seaside towns. Lovely personal touches like tea coffee, organic milk and a freshly made cake. Thank you very much

We had a great stay, was relaxing and a great location for walks, sightseeing etc. Mandy and Andy both very friendly and helpful. Would recommend booking ahead for any local pubs/restaurants as they are few and far between within a 10-20 min drive and busy at weekends/peak times, also bring a 12v charger for charging within the hut otherwise there are 3 point plugs 100m across the yard which can be used.

Emily’s place was an ideal getaway, secluded, clean, peaceful the perfect place to unwind for a few days, the hot tub made it extra special, all communication with Emily was excellent, would definitely recommend, will definitely be returning, thank you Emily.

What can I say?! Firstly, the accommodation and amenities were absolutely amazing. Welcoming, homely and beautifully presented. We fell in love with Mables the charming little wagon. Although, admittedly, November probably isn't the greatest time to have a outdoorsy escape especially as Storm Bert was making an appearance, we had such a fantastic time. The hot tub was a welcome addition and relaxing with a bottle of wine while the stresses of every day life were soaked away was just what was needed. Martin and CarolAnne were incredibly kind and the perfect hosts. Nothing was too much trouble and they were on hand whenever we needed them but equally respectful to our privacy. We can't thank you enough for our stay and we'll hopefully be back soon with the kiddies in the Treehouse! Fingers crossed for better weather next time!

The Cowboys hut was a beautifully made hut in an idyllic location. Danna left a lovely welcome hamper on arrival and the hut was clean and tidy. The log fire kept us toasty and we would love to visit again.

A perfect getaway in an amazing location in Exmoor with so much history, wildlife and character. The log cabin was to a high standard of comfort and convenience. The hot tub was amazing and log burner kept us so toasty. Wpuld highly recommended this hidden gem. The hosts were friendly and helpful - they kept us stocked on wood and provided a perfect getaway. Would definitely come back

Lovely place, great hosts. Could probably do with curtains and the shower is a little weak but that is nit picking. It is pretty much perfect.

We booked the shepherds hut last minute after our wedding for a short mini moon. Tamara accepted our request very quickly and started heating the hot tub for us! Nothing was too much effort or trouble fornTarama. We were greeted with such friendliness with any encounter. There was a handy little shop there for some essentials but we would still recommend going prepared with some fruit, snacks and a some easy dinners. Fantastic stay here! We loved it. Despite the rain! Thank you for having us!

We had the most wonderful weekend at the shepherds hut. So much so we are considering coming back for our honeymoon next year. We had a fantastic walk from the hut and paddle boarded at Nolton which was so close to us. We also enjoyed the sunset at Newgale which again was only a short drive. We highly recommend a stay here!

We have just returned from our minimoon after our wedding on Friday. Our stay exceeded our expectations! Bryn's communication was exceptional. He was flexible with our plans changing to include our fur baby, answered messages quickly and with accurate map Pins to make places easy to find. His recommendations were great, the nearby pub 'The Ravon' - delicious food, attentive staff and a cosy atmosphere. The nearby indian, wow the best we've had and the 'Bay Tree Cafe' what a gem! Bryn was friendly, approachable and went above and beyond to make our stay special with newly wed bunting, a bottle of bubbles and some homemade produce which was super tasty. Everything from the property itself, to the log burner, views and hot tub made our stay one we will never forget. It was a really special time as we enjoyed our new bubble as husband and wife! We will definitely return, Bryn has a special set-up here and his personable approach makes it. We will be regualars how. The Listers x

Brilliant stay. Very accommodating host. Everything you could possibly think of or need was there. Wine, beer, soap, all lovely touches. This is a perfect retreat for you and your dogs. Whole field to yourself. Highly recommend. Thank you

Host was very friendly, and welcomed us warmly, and was also very accommodating. The lodge was extremely clean and came with all the essentials including biscuits for our dogs and a welcome package. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing break with lots of walks and local pubs with a security of a fenced garden for your dogs. Would definitely return :)

Incredible spot! Really enjoyed our time here, very peaceful and lovely surroundings. Hot tub was exceptional, Clive was very helpful and attentive. Would recommend for any couple looking for time away in the countryside.

My partner and I spent a few nights in the Collie Shepherd’s Hut just before the Easter weekend, and we had the most wonderfully relaxing stay. Everything was perfect, and we truly couldn’t fault a thing. Chloe was an exceptional host—thoughtful and attentive. She kindly had the hot tub warmed and ready for our arrival, which was such a lovely touch. The following day, after a long walk along the stunning cliff tops in Cheddar, she went out of her way to prepare it for us again, so we could unwind the moment we got back. The location of the hut is beautifully peaceful, surrounded by fields and farmland, offering a real sense of escape. The hut itself was cosy, well-equipped, and had everything we needed. One of our favourite moments was enjoying a morning cup of tea in bed while watching the ponies grazing at the bottom of the garden.. so tranquil. A huge thank you to Chloe, we’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Our stay was perfect - the hut is even better than described, immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and set in the most peaceful surroundings. Every little detail had been thought of to make us feel completely at home. We were welcomed with fresh milk, eggs, tea, and coffee, which was such a lovely touch and made settling in feel so easy and thoughtful. It was clear a lot of care had gone into creating a relaxing space for guests. We left feeling refreshed - highly recommend!

Probably the most luxurious and beautifully decorated shepherd's hut me and my partner had the pleasure of staying at. Cherry was a great host, we felt like we had the privacy we needed and the much needed getaway from the city, surrounded by Wales countryside beauty and quietness.

What a beautiful find. We loved our stay here, the hut was so clean and nicely designed, Manon has thought of every detail. The hot tub was soooo lovely and the views were just beautiful in every direction. It was so nice having sheep all around the hut and our little pup loved watching them too. Can’t wait to return in the summer! Thank you!
