Had a great stay in Newport with the family. We arrived to a lovely bottle of bubbly. David was super helpful, giving us recommendations of places to eat and visit. Everything is right on your doorstep. We also had free parking just across the road from the property. The house is beautiful with a large private garden at the back. 3 bathrooms and a toilet. The kitchen area was nice and spacious. It had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at Andy’s house for three nights, it was spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable. The location was great being within a short walk of local amenities and scenic walks along the river. Andy was responsive & polite, we would definitely stay here again and would recommend to friends and family.

Really enjoyed the stay. The property has a lot of character and is very comfortable. It is well situated for the town centre, yet in a peaceful location. Parking was easy.

We had a fantastic stay at river view cottage. The photos didn’t do it justice, and it was even better when we arrived than we had expected. Parking was incredibly easy with loads of spaces on the road outside, and Ian sorted the parking permit for us before we arrived. The property was over 3 floors, which we hadn’t realised beforehand but we actually preferred this as we had expected the sofabed to be in the same room as the kitchen, and it was nice that it was separate and not on the ground floor. For a small property it felt surprisingly spacious! We were really impressed and would thoroughly recommend to others.

Lovely house in a central location, perfect for exploring the town and nearby walks. Really well equipped house with everything you might need. Also amazing period features. Would definitely recommend this as a stay for anyone who wants to visit Montgomery.

We were supposed to be staying at Town Cottage in Llanidloes but there was a problem with the boiler so Ruth very kindly let us stay at Lower Dolgenau instead. Therefore this review applies to Lower Dolgenau. It was a lovely cottage and although we were not in the town, the countryside was idyllic. We woke up every morning to the sounds of a babbling river, sheep and pheasants. The cottage is full of character and very cosy but plenty of space. The cottage is just off the road between the village of Trefeglwys and the hamlet of Llawr-y-Glyn. The nearest pub is about 2 miles away and it's only 7 miles to drive down the hill to the town which has some nice cafes, a bookshop and an organic food shop. It's a superb area for walking. Don't miss Llyn Clywedog or Hafren Forest and there are plenty more walks on the Llanidloes website.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this lovely house in St Davids! The location couldn't be better—everything is within walking distance, from charming cafes and restaurants to stunning coastal walks and the breathtaking cathedral. The house itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was incredibly welcoming and provided great local recommendations. If you're looking for the perfect base to explore St Davids, this is it! We can't wait to come back. Highly recommended!

Helen’s place is in a great location right near town but also feels quiet and private. The bank garden was lovely and there’s loads to see and do nearby. We traveled with a 3 year old and she made sure we had a travel cot and toys. When we saw her outside she asked if we needed anything else. We admitted we forgot books for him so she went and got a whole crate full of them for him! Would definitely stay again!

This was a lovely spacious home; beautiful decor, thoughtful touches like the blankets and rugs. Well equipped kitchen, toilets on every floor and lovely showers and a roll topped bath to wallow in. The games room was a great fun space and there were lots of fun activities and books to distract us if we needed it. The garden was private and the area had lovely walks along the coast and a bus stop just along the road to easily access the Mumbles and Swansea. I highly recommend this lovely home and so wish we had been there for longer

Matthew is a great host. He is very accommodating and did everything we requested. Everything and more was provided for our stay. The wine and Prosecco on the kitchen table was a lovely surprise and very welcomed . Christmas decorations were beautiful and must’ve taken considerable care and time. A request for the DVD player was answered and we watched lots of DVDs. We enjoyed having three living rooms. Television could be viewed in two of the living rooms. The adults particularly enjoyed the, television free, first floor lounge where they could chat. The whole family loved the stay at Matthews’ house for its cosy feel. Everything is within walkable distance . The cathedral the pubs, the restaurants, et cetera..

Lisa was so welcoming and a wonderful host! The location is centrally located to Mumbles and numerous cafes, shops, restaurants and activities for the whole family. Lisa is very responsive and provided great recommendations in that area, her thoughtfulness really shines in how she welcomed us with baked goods, milk and butter for our stay. It felt like a home away from home. The house was so spacious and clean, very comfortable and was fully stocked for anything we needed. Thank you so much and look forward to our next visit to Mumbles and the surrounding area.

What a fantastic place to stay. We had everything we needed and more. Wayne and Erika were fantastic hosts. The house is so homely with lots of personal touches. It really felt like a home away from home. We can't wait to stay again and will definitely be recommending to family and friends.

Been in Cardiff for the last year and always try to book this house, immaculately clean and in a quiet but great area. Excellent communication and fast responses. Very highly recommended 10/10

Cosy clean house, felt like home from home. Comfy bed, hot shower, only 10 -15 minutes walk from town and the quayside. Enjoyed the sunny back garden. Andy very responsive and helpful host.

Lynette's was one of the loveliest places we've stayed through Airbnb. The beds were super comfortable, the carpets fluffy, and the kitchen well stocked with everything we needed. The location gave us a lovely view and was easily walkable to both Aber's shops and the 'must dos', like kicking the bars and heading up Constitution Hill. Will definitely book again!

Excellent accommodation for my engineers, location and house covered all their requirements. Would book again for work purposes and personal in the future.

I have stayed here many times and all good. Just to add something different, there is quite a long sloping garden that leads to a decked area above the house. Nice spot to have a drink with view across the Haven and the bridge.

A very clean and comfortable stay. The house and gardens were immaculately presented. We felt right at home and had a relaxing stay. The house is located in a quiet street. You can be on a beach in 5 mins walk and the famous Barry island beach is a lovely coastal stroll away. We came on a Gavin and Stacey Pilgrimage. The house was the ideal base for a family holiday, giving us plenty of space to chill out in. The welcome treats were a very kind gift.

Cosy house, suitable for our needs as an adult family of 4. A welcoming touch with the fresh bread and breakfast provisions. Perfectly located for the town and walking Blorenge and Skirrid Fawr. The rear garden is a hidden gem! Great outside space to listen and watch the wildlife. A perfect spot to unwind after a day walking on the mountains.

As a family of four, this house was absolutely perfect for our short holiday in the Brecon Beacons. It is so incredibly spacious and clean and well equipped. Perfect location with all local shops restaurants and sore seeing within walkable distance. The host was unbelievably helpful and kind. We can’t praise this house enough. Well worth the price, without a doubt. If we ever return to this area of Wales, we will definitely return to this house. The kitchen has everything you could wish for. The beds are all delightfully comfortable and the bed linen is beautifully soft. The heating and hot water was brilliant. We honestly could not have wished for a better place to stay for our short break. Five stars for everything.

We had a lovely week at Highpoint and found it very useful to have Louise on site who had great recommendations for things to do. The indoor pool was a great addition and having an allocated time was a great idea. The accommodation was perfect and well maintained.

The house is beautifully presented and exceptionally clean. Lovely environment and some stunning artworks. It is perfectly located for shops and restaurants and Jasmine couldn’t have been more attentive and helpful. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
