Simon is a great host. Usually responds within 5-10 minutes with messaging. He is very knowledgeable and Friendly. The surrounding areas are farmland and hills with sheep, horses, and cattle. It is all very beautiful, including a very close-by footpath that overlooks a good bit of it. The area is very quiet also. Walking into town has some really nice views along the way and is approximately 20 minutes. The nearby town is holmfirth which has cafes all over, restaurants, bakeries, and large and small food shops. The drive in is very short and finding parking is only a challenge at busier times of day. Loved it. The flat has everything you’d need in it. It has a big comfortable bed. The views from the flat are exceptional and it is so restfully quiet inside. There was rarely much noise at all from outside unless a bird was perched really close by. There is no microwave in the kitchen but Simon let me borrow his because as i need one to live. Highly recommend.

John and Helen made us feel very welcome. It's a perfect location for walking in the Peak District hills and a short stroll to pubs and restaurants in Castleton. Also a short drive to many lovely towns nearby. A positive having a couple of EV chargers on site. Thank you for making our stay home from home.

Callow Barn is in a stunning location in the heart of the Peak District with beautiful views from every window . There are loads of different walks to enjoy nearby . The property itself has ample room for 8 and everything you could need for a stay is provided

A fantastic location in the heart of the Peak District. Perfect for a large family get together, warm and comfortable, safe for children. Lots of comfy sofas, big dining room table, full of character, great bedrooms. Attached to a lovely pub, great breakfasts and Sunday lunches. Even a small honesty shop in the pub carpark, selling local produce and essentials. The host, Fiona, couldn’t have been any more hospitable and obliging, nothing overlooked. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we’ll be back!

Maeve was there to welcome us when we checked in and was very helpful with making sure we had everything and gave us some really good recommendations! The air b&b was lovely, clean and in such a good location to walk to castleton and hope. Also close by to a lot of great places to visit! Having the view of mam tor from the back garden was just amazing! We didn’t want for anything while we were there and we can’t wait to come back :)

We ( 6 adults 3 children) had a lovely stay, it really is a 'Magnificent Georgian House'. Underfloor heating and log burner are just what you need on cold, damp, drizzly February evenings. Recommended !

Absolutely beautiful cottage in a stunning location. Perfectly located for our family trip to walk up Kinder Scout. The cottage was clean, warm and comfortable. Our host provided us with local recommendations, delicious biscuits and local coffee. The pool was wonderful, our boys couldn't get enough of it! Highly recommended!

We had three lovely days in this stunning cottage - can't wait to return. The views are incredible and we were lucky with the weather. The cottage is very cosy with top notch facilities and lovely decor - a very special place.

Jayne's place was beautiful, in a perfect spot if you were getting in by train. We personally drove but would be easy to find either way. It is minutes drive from the centre of town and Jayne includes a list of walk recommendations and food aswell. The room was stocked with everything needed and she even included some free fresh pastries for us. The bed was one of the comfiest sleeps I have had in a long time. Couldn't recommend more!!!!!

The cottage itself was beautifully maintained, with a cozy yet spacious feel. Everything was spotlessly clean, well-equipped, and tastefully decorated, making it feel like a true home away from home. If you’re looking for a relaxing escape in nature with all the comforts of a charming cottage, this is perfect!

Cotton Cottage is in a lovely and convenient spot. There’s absolutely everything you could need. Francesca provided lots of helpful info when we booked and was attentive and communicative when we contacted her during our stay. Would definitely recommend!

Had the loveliest weekend at Stable View with my kids, and my friend and her daughter. Laura made sure we were comfortable and left us an amazing breakfast package! The space was clean and really nicely kitted out. The kids loved being able to see the cows, the chickens, the geese and sheep from the windows. Laura was super friendly and responsive and even showed us around the dairy farm where we got to meet lots of new calves and see the ladies having their evening milking session. My kids have been raving about it endlessly! Thank you so much for having us, we loved every minute! 100% would recommend!

Fantastic stay . Would definitely book again but next time we want to stay in the pods and fish once weather picks up . Great facilities, clean , everything you need for a fab little getaway. On site beautiful tea room with friendly welcoming staff always smiling . There plenty of shops , chippys , pubs close to . Amazing walks close by also , we visited anston stones wood lovely walk close to the Brooke . Nothing was to much trouble everything was perfect and I will definitely recommend this perfect little place to friends and family . We will see you soon and thank you for a wonderful stay .

Headed to the little cottage as a last minute trip looking for a quiet place away from fireworks for our dog. This delivered exactly what we needed. Really nice location in peaceful surroundings. Lovely walks close by and the cottage had all the essentials I needed to cook.

This is a very comfortable, cosy cottage with the most amazing views. It is in a quiet and rural setting with footpaths right from the door up onto the moors or to the reservoirs. A short drive and you can access many more walks. The cottage is spacious and well furnished.

Lovely cottage, as described perfect location for beautiful walks and a very short walk to the local pub for a nice meal. Thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would love to go back again

We had the most wonderful time, the location was beautiful, easy check in, everything was as described and I would highly recommend,- the accommodation was perfect, however there is no shower only a bath and we didn’t realise this, it was absolutely fine and we all had baths! Local pub served the most incredible food too, would definitely return 🥰

We had the best stay at the Garden Cottage, what a beautiful home with the most beautiful surroundings! Stephanie couldn't have been more helpful and onhand, and we absolutely loved Annabels cafe a short walk away!! Will be back for sure, thank you so much!

Luxurious and immaculate period cottage that’s full of character. Everything you could want for a peaceful comfortable stay. Idyllic and beautiful situation in countryside, yet conveniently close to amenities. Absolutely perfect.

Stayed here while we had some work done on our house locally. Chris was very helpful with great communication.

We only stayed for one night but we wished we were there for a week it was so nice. The house was lovely just as described and everything has been thought of for an enjoyable, relaxing stay. The location also couldn't be better it was just a short walk into Holmfirth. Thank you for letting us stay in the Bunker hopefully we will be back.
