Sara at Woodsome was wonderful, so responsive and helpful. Never needed to wait more than 10 minutes for a reply leading up to and during our stay. She was soo helpful in helping me organise a wonderful hen do weekend for my friend. We took her recommendations on having some amazing beautician treatments at the house Saturday morning - they came and set up in the bedrooms and were wonderful. Amazing treatments and so lovely and friendly! Then we had Benji provide us with afternoon tea and then an *amazing* 3 course dinner. He messaged before and gave us choices on the menu after letting us pick a cuisine of choice and it was amazing!! Definitely a highlight of the trip! The house was clean, tidy and had everything we could need. Great, maintained(!) hot tub! Been to places before where they don’t treat it regularly but Sara was there Saturday morning testing it and maintaining it even whilst we were all there. Couldn’t have asked for a better weekend! Thank you so much Sara!

Beautiful house- kitchen was great, bedrooms were comfy and the bath was amazing. Location was perfect- lots to do in Hathersage, within 10mins drive of Ladybower reservoir and Stannage Edge is walkable from the house! The garden patio and hot tub were lovely for a sunny afternoon after a morning walk. The 10 of us had a great time 😊

Our stay was lovely. Property was beautiful perfect location for our plans and the communication before and after was great. Wish we could have stayed longer!

We can't recommend this place enough! Roger the host was excellent, friendly comms before, during and after. Everything had been thought about, the bed was super comfortable and luxurious, the water was hot, the bath was deep and inviting, the kitchen furnished with everything you could need to cook a meal and the added bee based subtleties along with the wine, milk, jams and biscuits just gave it that sprinkle of something extra. Don't think, get y'sen here!

This was an excellent location for us to visit family and friends before Christmas. The house was brilliant for our needs. Plenty of space for us all, including a toddler and dog. Brilliant to find such an amazing house that was very dog friendly. Even though I was late in telling Simon about taking a dog, there was a bowl of water, dog blankets and a torch in the utility room. It was also brilliant to be able to access the Sculpture Park free of charge straight from the dog proof garden. Great for long on lead dog walks. This is Simon's home so unlike many Airbnb properties it has some personal features. I did smile when I opened his 'man draw' in the kitchen 😂. The house was very clean, comfortable and spacious. We would love to stay there again.

house is stunning rooms are lovely and clean. smelled really nice when we entered and checking in was so easy!! man cave and hot tub was a brill way to end the evening. would stay again ⭐️⭐️⭐️
