Simon is a great host. Usually responds within 5-10 minutes with messaging. He is very knowledgeable and Friendly. The surrounding areas are farmland and hills with sheep, horses, and cattle. It is all very beautiful, including a very close-by footpath that overlooks a good bit of it. The area is very quiet also. Walking into town has some really nice views along the way and is approximately 20 minutes. The nearby town is holmfirth which has cafes all over, restaurants, bakeries, and large and small food shops. The drive in is very short and finding parking is only a challenge at busier times of day. Loved it. The flat has everything you’d need in it. It has a big comfortable bed. The views from the flat are exceptional and it is so restfully quiet inside. There was rarely much noise at all from outside unless a bird was perched really close by. There is no microwave in the kitchen but Simon let me borrow his because as i need one to live. Highly recommend.

We had a fabulous stay in Castleton. The place was amazing and exactly as the host described. The personal touches by Marieanne were amazing!! I highly recommend this place for everyone who wants to visit the Peak District.

I had an amazing experience staying at Jonathan’s Airbnb in Kelham Island, Sheffield. The check-in process was seamless, and the host provided clear instructions, making everything hassle-free. The accommodation itself was clean and well-equipped. The location was perfect, with easy access to public transport. Speaking of the host, Jonathan was incredibly helpful and readily available to any answer question. Overall, I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting Sheffield.

The location of the flat is perfect walking distance from everything you need. Michael was a great host and the whole weekend was very enjoyable. The flat was clean and very comfortable with beautiful views. We will be back to Sheffield and hope to stay here again. Thanks again Michael for everything.

Comfortable apartment with good facilities and excellent welcome treats and essentials. Easy walk into the centre of Holmfirth. Good view of the valley being on the valley side. Great for a short stay. House numbers on the road were a little difficult to interpret but easy to find with full address in sat nav.

Lovely location, close to everything but far enough away to be peaceful and private.

Lovely 3 bedroom apartment in a peaceful location with a stunning view across the valley. Comfortable beds and great showers. It is the ground floor of a house with the owners living above, but it has separate access from the side and there was no noise from above at all. The spacious locked shed was an added bonus for storing my husbands bike. Just 5-10 mins walk down the hill to the shops, train station, open air swimming pool, cafes and restaurants in Hathersage. And only 25 minutes drive into Sheffield. The George was a lovely spot for a very tasty evening meal. Stunning walks from the door, including up to Stanage Edge. A great spot to stay for a walking holiday in the Peak District- we highly recommend it!

Lovely apartment with all amenities one would need. Walking distance from train station/town centre. Very good communication with host. Apartment very clean and nicely decorated. Stable and fast wifi. Additionally, as a light sleeper I was not bothered by the proximity to the warehouse and slept untill 11:00 one day :-) Would definetly stay here again if i am in the area.

A gorgeous stay! Exceeded our expectations. All the nice little touches, like the freshly baked goodies, ample teas, coffees, hot chocolates and marshmallows, really added to the experience. The property is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for our stay. The location is really peaceful and not far to walk in to Holmfirth centre. We would definitely visit here again!

Stayed here while we had some work done on our house locally. Chris was very helpful with great communication.

This was our second stay at The Old Coach House and once again we had the most amazing time. The hosts are always so quick to respond and are so accommodating. We happened to arrive earlier than planned and were allowed to check in slightly early which was so kind. The apartment is always so clean and the bed is so comfortable. The Coach House is walking distance away from many cute cafes, bars and restaurants. However, the kitchen is fully equipped should you wish to cook. We primarily visit Sheffield for the hiking and climbing in the peak district, so it is in the perfect place. Once again we will definitely be returning and couldn’t recommend this place enough.

We stayed here for my mums 60th birthday. We had 5 couples and 2 small children. It was fantastic. House was beautiful. Location was quiet and peaceful but lots of things to do in the surrounding areas. House itself was well equipped, my 3 year old loved the train set in the living room and the childrens books. Lots of places to sit and relax, as well as all being able to sit together and eat as a family of 12. Garden was suitable for dogs however we decided to leave ours at home for a more stress free weekend. We did make use of the garden and the beautiful view by hiring a photographer to capture the weekend. Thank you for a brillant stay.

We had 2 guys working in the area the property was clean and tidy and had everything they needed. The host was very responsive and they would stay again if in the area.

Fantastic stop at John’s flat, exactly what we were looking for. John was a brilliant host, really friendly, helpful and flexible on check in and check out which was appreciated. The flat was spotlessly clean, well appointed and John had left some lovely essentials on arrival such as bread, butter, milk and juice which was a lovely touch. Overall, a great stay

My husband Laurence is from Barnsley so we're quite regular visitors to see family and he was familiar with the apartment's location as the old Barnsley Permanent Building Society - you could not be more central with a great view of the Town Hall. The building has been sensitively restored into a majestic apartment block and the flat itself is lovely: tastefully decorated, well equipped, spotlessly clean with a really comfy bed and great towels. You can tell that David has put a lot of care and attention in making a genuine home from home so its perfect if you're staying for a flying visit like we were or a longer stay. It's in staggering distance of all the bars and restaurants and we absolutely loved it! Will definitely stay again.

Great garden apartment, I have been several times as the location is great for me and it’s really comfortable and well equipped. Martin and Michelle are responsive and helpful hosts. Highly recommend

We had such a great stay at Khateeb’s accommodation this week! The location was perfect for us and the apartment had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Khateeb responded quickly to any questions and seemed genuinely keen to make sure all was well for us. I can highly recommend!

Spent a couple of nights in this lovely and clean self contained appartement. Very quiet area even though it is densely populated, the private drive was a definite perk. The kitchen was very well stocked from milk, eggs, juice, fruits, variety of teas, hot chocolate, fresh bread and more. Very easy check in/out and friendly communication with Yael before our stay. Would highly recommend and would certainly not hesitate coming back. Thank you!
