Excellent vacation home. My family and I had a great time. We comfortably fit 9 adults and 1 child. It was walking distance to downtown Grass Valley, which is very nice and decorated for the holidays. It was approximately 45 minutes to the sledding/tubing hill called Nyack. We caught a large snowstorm at the hill. Overall, a great vacation that we will all remember for years to come. Thank you!

Emily’s place is a magical hillside home offering clean water creek access and great privacy. Rooms are spacious and the outdoor park is great for bigger groups and families. Our small 4 people’s group felt like in a mansion. Super tall redwoods and pines surround the house giving the feeling of living in a tree house. We hope to come back in the summer!

This is our second time staying here and it did not disappoint. It’s a beautiful place to get away.

Gil's Grass Valley home is PERFECTION. Truly a character home with magic in every corner: a creek in the backyard, badminton, ping pong, hot tub, huge projector for TV, lot's of comfortable bedrooms, and a rope swing in the kitchen! We had a great month staying at this home and enjoyed the quick walk into Grass Valley, and amazing proximity to Nevada City. It comfortably accommodates guests and feels spacious. Thank you so much Gil and Family for a great month :) We can't wait to visit again!

This cabin was clean, idyllic, and in a secluded place—away from the city but not too far. The interior of the cabin was so cute. The fireplace made it extra cozy. We really enjoyed our stay and hope to be back again!

What a paradise this place is! So peaceful and idyllic. The sauna and hot tub area was the highlight of the stay. And we loved getting body treatments from Shari and Mia!

What a joy it was to relax and unwind in this beautiful little sanctuary. Dawn was so welcoming and kind. I felt right at home. The bed was comfortable and warm. Everything was clean. It was quiet and peaceful. I enjoyed mornings on her gorgeous balcony sipping coffee, reading and enjoying the incredible view. Also great for stargazing in the evening. A short and scenic drive from town or the lake. I will definitely come back again!

This was hands down the best air bnb I have ever stayed at. Lynn was incredibly kind and helpful, and the air bnb had everything we needed and more including local recommendations and even breakfast foods and milk & honey for coffee! She also has the sweetest pup that we loved to hang out with while we stayed. Beautiful property, beautiful view, and beautiful area!

This is a great place to stay in Nevada City. It is remarkable to be able to house a large family gathering under one roof and still be only minutes from downtown Nevada City by foot. On top of that, the spacious backyard along the creek offered great quiet time. The house is well-stocked including the kitchen which had everything we needed to cook for a large group; including good frying pans!

we will return! Constant communication and Racj=hel went out of her way to have us check in early as we arrived sooner than we anticipated. The house is perfect! We have a small dog, there were dog covers, a fenced yard (with pooper scooper), a sweet fireplace, a footed bathtub, and 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Well-equipped kitchen and lots of towels and great sheets. We really loved this place and it would be great for 2 couples and/or a family. Great for dog people.

Donna was super responsive and helpful and the place was incredibly comfortable, clean, well stocked and beautiful. I would 100% stay here again. It has everything you need and is so peaceful and quiet but close to town!

If you like peaceful and nature vibes this is the place perfect for you ! This place is hella nice and mary is nice ! And the best fishing spot i caught like 6 largemouth bass . Definitely gonna come back to this place ..

Very nice and accommodating host.

The place was cute, bright, and clean. If you like a firmer mattress, you’ll likely struggle—we found the mattress way too soft. I’d echo what the other reviewers said about the sound carrying from upstairs. Make sure you spend a little while sitting on the couch if the lavender is in bloom as there is a hummingbird into the lavender nectar. We saw it several times during our stay!

This cottage was a wonderful place to relax and reset. It was everything it was described to be and more. Waking up to a heard of deer in the distance and complete silence that made you feel at peace. All the nature sounds filled in the space. The hosts were very attentive and take great care in how they keep the cottage. I would definitely recommend to come in here. I will definitely be coming back again for a retreat.

We had a wonderful time staying at Sumee's lovely house in Nevada City. The house is beautiful and has all of the elements needed for a perfect getaway. The location was perfect for our Sumee was extremely responsive and kind and we will absolutely be staying at her home again on our next trip to Nevada City!

Tom was the most gracious host one could ask for. From booking to checkout, Tom made himself available for any and all questions. He provided some insights about finding the house and tips on maneuvering onto the property. He personally met me and my family at check-in, provided us some insights on the property and the area, and helped with access to the lake. The house and grounds are immaculate. Clean, well stocked kitchen, and fresh linens. The property has everything you could ask for with lake, pool and hot tub access. . The private setting is the ultimate topping on the cake. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to connecting with Tom for future trips!

Stayed here with a group of friends - lots of beds so we each got our own, which is rare. The house was well stocked - kitchen, towels, etc. We enjoyed using the indoor/grotto hot tub. Cute shops & restaurants in the area (15-20ish mins). Thanks for a great stay!

My wife and I really enjoyed this spot as a home base for adventures in the sierra foothills. Highlights included ease of in and out, the complimentary wine (and what appeared to be very local eggs!), and of course the hot tub - just remember advance notice to heat it up. Bob and Jeanne were very responsive to requests to up the heat during our winter stay. And when we weren’t out tubbing or hiking, we appreciated the tv/movie options. Would definitely stay again.

No words to describe how absolutely thoughtful in every way Heather’s home is. Down to the tiniest detail. She had everything you could need or want and more! I can’t wait to go back. Absolutely beautiful. My version of a Barbie dream home! ♥️

We had a wonderful stay. The pool and hot tub were amazing. There was plenty of room for all of us. The pots and pans were a really nice brand.

I rented Don and Kathy’s home to throw a baby shower. Keep in mind there is an event fee if you’ll have guests joining for the day, but it was very reasonable, especially for everything this house and our hosts gave us in return. There was so much open green space, greenhouse was more spacious and beautiful than what it looked like in the photos, and you can tell they put a lot of love and care into this family home. It was very clean and guest ready, but you can tell people actually live here and IMO it felt made it feel warmer compared to company owned Airbnbs that feel sterile. When they say their kitchen is fully stocked, they mean FULLY stocked. Don and Kathy are excellent hosts as well - they were so responsive and responded personally to all our messages and very quickly. When you get close the roads are not lit, so for some it might be a little scary to navigate in the dark. Just drive slow and once you get to where GPS drops you off it’s easy to see the house from the road!

We had a awesome time, our host provided great communication and the house was exactly what we hoped for. The weather was hot and the pool was the perfect, AC was cold for when we couldn't be in the pool. Fun to play pool, chess, cards and watch movies in the theatre room. Great kitchen with everything you need. Thank you for having us.
