We had an amazing stay! It was our second time staying and everything was perfect. It’s a cozy cottage with an at-home feel. Set the pilot light in the gas fireplace for us and let me know in advance, and offered to come pick up chairs after a windstorm the night before our stay. Very lovely host with a very speedy response time and a wonderful property!

Zeshan was an amazing host to work with! The stay was spacious and had all the amenities needed for a relaxing stay.

This is our second time staying at this lovely home on the lake. The proximity to the Beaver Valley section on the Bruce Trail makes for a great space to rest ourselves after a long day of hiking. We hope to be able to stay again when trying to complete more in that area.

Do not think twice and pull the trigger on this vacation gem. The view is to die for, the beach is so calming and right at your feet. Spacious clean good modern house with all the amenities. You will feel right at home. Hosts are proactive helpful and very accomodating.

What a beautiful and clean place! The host is very friendly and easy to communicate with. They provided a lot of useful information about their house. The house has everything you need if you have kids and seniors. Only a couple of steps to get into the house. Everything else is on the same floor. Thanks for everything!

We LOVED our honeymoon at Laurie's place! It was exactly the relaxing, cozy, peaceful getaway spot we were dreaming of. Great location - even in the winter! Laurie is a fantastic host: friendly, chill, accommodating and invested in our enjoyment of the place. We really like how she provided clear instructions - and the nice little labels in various places in the house tickled our fancy! We cooked most of our own food all week and the kitchen was fully equipped with a nice full fridge, suitable dual hotplate, nice big sink for dishes and all the equipment needed. Laurie mentioned doing some woodworking and there was a nice solid wood cutting board in the kitchen and lovely live-edge wood in various places in the home. We appreciated the decor, and loved the wood paneling on the walls - the whole place smells nice because of it. The bed was comfortable and there was ample space in the home and extra linens. We loved the local handmade soap, too! We'd love to return next year!

If you want the beauty of Lake Huron mixed with peace and quiet… this is the place to be! The cottage was perfect and we had a great week of relaxation. I loved the real cottage feel without the added materialism. Lots of laughs shared and enjoyment to be had. My family and I really appreciated the homie touches here and there throughout. Would definitely stay again!

Shelly was super welcoming, called in advance of our arrival offering earlier access if required, and ended up letting us stay late after we couldn't get in till late on the first day! Love the place and the beach right next to us. Will come back for sure!

We 4 friends stayed for a week. The large 2-storey cottage on a quiet cul de sac was spacious with multiple bedrooms and plenty of lounge area in and a large deck out, with a beautiful view of the bay looking east out to Georgian Bay – morning sun out front, most sleeping areas in the back to allow sleeping in! 1-1/2 baths, with the half an en suite. A sandy bottom bay with long shallow great for kids, well-constructed fire pit, and kayaks await outside. Inside is a large modern fridge and deluxe gas range, an island bar counter, large dining area overlooking the bay. No TV but you won’t miss it with all the activities in the area – close to supplies in Wiarton, Lion’s Head, and incredible lookout points on the Bruce Trail. No A/C but evening temps are reasonable, at worst open a window and enjoy the ceiling fans. Great high-speed internet. We all came away relaxed and happy to recommend this as a truly Great Canadian getaway.

I arranged a fall weekend away with a group of lifelong friends who are busy with young kids, successful careers, holding together the life they're building and this location couldn't have been more perfect for us. Jennifer was an incredible host. She was responsive and ensured we were looked after to the fullest extent. This location had EVERY. SINGLE. detail nailed down, thought of and provided. We enjoyed it so much and left feeling refreshed, rested and recharged.

Always a great stay at the Red Bay get away. We have been twice now and both times we had amazing time. The place is always nice and clean, they have lots of board games, free WiFi, appliances. We go here for the sunsets though. Some of the best sunsets we have ever seen!

Loved this location - beach right across the road with chairs provided to take over and enjoy! Easy walk to town for restaurants and cafes and shopping. Just a beautiful town and perfect cottage to enjoy it! All the needed equipment and extra provided. Bedding was so lovely! Can’t say enough! Highly recommend!

Staying at Ranveer’s place was incredible! We had a wonderful time with the space and property. Lots included and available inside, with a beautiful view and swimmable waterfront. Some challenges arose prior to arrival around unlisted rules and signing an agreement, but communication with Ranveer was excellent and we were able to come to an amicable agreement, resulting in a lovely weekend. Would certainly stay with Ranveer again.

The home was spacious and comfortable. The added amenities were so wonderful and it was fully stocked with towels and shampoo/ conditioner as well as body wash. All the beds were great and each person from our family slept great. The kids loved the play room and shooting hoops. The views were scenic and stunning. Soaking in the hot tub while overlooking the lake and seeing sailboats in the distance was very peaceful. What a great find. The host Marisa was kind, thoughtful and even left us some goodies! We would highly recommend this rental location to anyone.

Un emplacement merveilleux au bord du Lac. Un chalet grandiose où l'on se sent bien très rapidement. Nous étions un groupe d'amis et nous avions tous notre indépendance. Vraiment un endroit hors du temps avec une ambiance dépaysante. J'espère avoir la possibilité d'y revenir un jour.

The most stunning cottage we’ve been to. Extremely beautiful! The place was super clean and rooms were very comfortable. The area was beautiful, but really far from grocery stores and restaurants. Make sure to go prepared! The lake had a bit of seaweed, but nothing that you can’t handle. The only issue we’ve encountered was the drive way, it was super steep and full of bumps and holes. Overall the stay was perfect! I would definitely recommend for a cute girls weekend :)

The cottage was exactly as described and perfect for our group of 7 adults and 3 kids. It's a great new cottage with loads of room and very well equipped inside and out and very clean. Our host Graham was so easy to communicate with and very timely in responding to all questions. Being right on the beach was so great and the beach chairs and paddle boards and kayaks and fire pit made it even better. Tim August 2024

It was a delightful experience from start to finish. The cottage offered great lake views on the water’s edge, especially during sunrise and sunset. The outdoor space was the highlight of our stay. There was also a fire pit, which made for cozy evenings under the stars. The property had direct access to the water, allowing for easy swimming and kayaking. The owners provided kayaks and life jackets, which was a nice touch and added to the overall experience.

We stayed at Wendy’s place with a large group of friends to celebrate a number of us turning 30. She was super friendly, fast, and, easy to communicate with. We had such an incredible time that we are planning on making this a yearly trip. This place really cannot be beat. The large amount of bedrooms, the pickle/basketball court, crystal clear water, spacious area to setup backyard games. I would highly recommend this place to anyone planning a trip with a large group of friends/family.

As a busy mom, I needed a getaway—somewhere spacious, stunning, and peaceful enough to make me forget my inbox. Timber Shores delivered. The views? Unreal. Watching the snow fall over the frozen lake, sipping coffee by the fire, and cozying up in this gorgeous 3,000 sq ft log cabin felt like something out of a holiday movie. With 400+ feet of private waterfront, it was the perfect winter wonderland. The cabin itself? Stunning. Warm, inviting, and stocked with everything we needed for a stress-free stay. Even in winter, adventure was everywhere. We explored Tobermory, hiked snow-covered trails, visited the Grotto, and then warmed up with hot cocoa by the fire. But honestly, our best moments were just watching the snowfall, playing board games, and fully unwinding. We loved it so much that we’re already booked for my daughter’s wedding this fall. If you’re thinking about booking, just do it. Your future self will thank you. 11/10, would move in permanently if they let me.
