I absolutely enjoyed my weekend here. The home is beautiful. Everything you could possibly need was provided In the home. Everything was clean, and neat. House is filled with light. The pool and hot tub were enjoyable. The host were amazing and had great communication, assisted us when needed right away. I would highly recommend staying here, and they are pet friendly which is always a plus for me. The yard is fenced in. Which made it easy to let the dog out, and great for the dog to explore. A++++ Will probably be back sometime In the future.

This was our second time back to the pool house and it was amazing, again. We thinks of everything to make you feel welcome. Milk and eggs in the fridge. Muffins and croissants waiting for you. Pristine home. Fully stocked kitchen. I was even able to host a few family members for Christmas dinner and had everything I needed to make a lovely dinner. We also travel with two dogs and Sue is so accommodating, making our pups feel right at home. Thank you, Sue, for making our holidays away from home so peaceful and enjoyable.

We had an amazing time at Marybeth’s suite—it truly felt like a winter wonderland. Our kids had a blast "swimming" in the snow and "rolling" over the gentle hills. Every moment was filled with joy, whether we were relaxing in the sunroom, playing in the snow, or swinging outside. The time spent together as a family, along with our conversations with Marybeth and her family, was truly precious. We can’t wait to return in the summer!

Great house and great host. The place was beautiful -- big kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, great bathrooms (especially in the master bedroom), nice setup outside (jacuzzi and BBQ), etc. Perfect place for a family weekend in Litchfield. Location was perfect -- a 2 minute drive to great coffee, pastries, bread, ice cream, etc. in Bantam. Liz was an excellent host -- very helpful and responsive. We'd love to visit again soon.

An amazing location when you want to get slightly off the grid for peace and tranquility. Everything you need to truly slow down, dial out and get peace, quiet and rest. An amazing spot for a weekend getaway. If you want to find yourself amongst serene surroundings and a quiet, private wooded area, this is the place. Just enough modern amenities to be comfortable, but just basic enough to make you slow down. Tanner the host was the most responsive and helpful host of any of the airbnbs we've ever stayed. Truly went above and beyond at every turn to make our stay as comfortable as possible. More than accommodating with every request.

This was my second time saying at this location. It is always clean and exactly as described getting to the actual apartment is a bit tricky but well worth it for the price and wonderful hosting. I absolutely recommend staying here. It is a great little getaway or a perfect spot to stay for your business trip

This house was fantastic! We cooked a full Thanksgiving dinner here! The house was well stocked with everything we needed, from kitchen essentials to paper products. The layout of the house was great. Jane was very accommodating and made things easy for us! The house was immaculate and met all of our needs. I hope it’s available next Thanksgiving! Perfect location! Close to town, yet quiet and private! It was my granddaughter’s first Thanksgiving and I’m so glad we had this house to celebrate in!

My family and I had such a wonderful time at Chet’s home in Greenport. Perfect location, close enough to walk into town but also removed enough for privacy. Highly recommended!

The place was perfect! We had a wonderful girls weekend. Beds were super comfortable, place was spotless and beautifully decorated and quaint! Super easy walk to town and Jillian was a great host with prompt response. We will definitely book again! Thank you Jillian

Kate's place is an absolute gem! This was our first time to Shelter Island, and we loved the laid-back atmosphere. Kate's home has everything you need to have a relaxing weekend, from the amazing, heated pool to the kayaks on the beach, a 2-minute walk from the house! Having been in the hospitality business for over 25 years I tend to be super critical about cleanliness and amenities offered.....this house does not disappoint! We were a group of 10 attending a winery dinner and decided to stay for the weekend. We only left the house to attend the dinner, the rest of the time we stayed at the house, either in the pool, on the deck BBQing or inside chatting where there are two living rooms and a very well-equipped kitchen. The bedrooms were nicely decorated and comfortable! We would definitely recommend and hope to stay again. :)

Stayed here with 8 friends and we enjoyed it so much! Honestly the pictures do not do it justice. The view to the lake was so nice and our favorite part was waking up to that beautiful sunrise view, absolutely stunning! The place is big and roomy and everyone slept so comfortable. House was perfect in such a cute community and it was very clean I would definitely stay here again if I ever come back.

A lovely house in a private location. Our kids loved the games, watching movies on the projector, and watching deer from the window. The kitchen was well equipped and everything was comfortable.

Laurie is a wonderful and generous host. Though we did not take advantage of it, she let us know that early check-in was possible on our arrival date. When we did arrive, we were greeted with a lovely care package of treats, including excellent treats for our dog. Really nice touches, and much appreciated. The space is clean and spacious, free of clutter, with a nice kitchen. We are especially grateful for pet-friendly hosts, and Laurie's place was truly excellent. Even non-pet people should find the space very suitable. There are no signs that other dogs had stayed there, the space, furniture and linens are all very clean. Great host, great place!

A lovely cottage on a quiet street (at least in the fall!). The interior is just beautiful with all the wood floors, walls, ceilings. The kitchen was - unusual! Clearly they had to retrofit an old home to accommodate modern appliances, but all worked well.

One of the best airbnbs I’ve stayed at! The house is so beautiful and clean! Beds are extremely comfortable and the views of the lake is stunning!! Thanks so much again for a wonderful stay with my family!

Maura was an excellent host and the home was perfect! We enjoyed the weekend very much and cannot thank Maura enough for her kindness, responsiveness, warm hearted spirit, and for opening up her home to us. Will always keep this spot in mind for future SI adventures!

We'd been looking forward to coming back to The Recycle House since we first stayed there in 2022. Safe to say it was just as we remembered it...great house, great location, wonderful community. Looking forwarded to returning.

We loved our stay at Jimbo's. All the bedrooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. The whole family enjoyed chilling out in the comfy sofas with a nice library in the living area. We all and in particular our dog loved the huge, green and well maintained lawn. He had so much fun with all the space to run and play! For us the greenery was very relaxing. The location is good - a 5 minute walk from the ice cream store, 12 minute walk from Crescent Beach (with the happening Sunset Beach Club), a 5 minute drive from the IGA, and a 5 minute drive from North Ferry. The furthest we had to drive was a 12 minute drive to Rams Head Point. The outdoor shower was lovely! Jimbo was very friendly and very responsive including providing some very efficient "tech support" on the dryer even though he was out of town. The issue was a confusing light on the dryer and some user error and was easily resolved on the phone. Additional towels were dropped off upon request. A pretty comprehensive set of silverware, plate settings, and kitchen utensils made it a fun and easy stay. Thank you Mary and Jimbo for sharing your house, we had precious moments there and we highly recommend it !

Great stay at Andrea's house in Canaan. House is very nicely renovated and appointed with plenty of room for a family gathering. Walking distance to restaurants in town, and really enjoyed the firepit. Would definitely stay again.

The house and area were ideal. I had moved from the area the year before I rented Melissa’s home . My partner and I lived just a mile and 1/2 from the rental. He passed away and this was my first time back on the North Fork. Having lived in the area over 30 years it was great to be back. Melissa’s home was perfect close to all my friends and my partner’s family. The house was ideal with 3 levels it was perfectly suited for me and my two dogs to have our space and my two housemates had their own space. I look forward to possibly renting her home next year as well.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay in Southampton. The place looked exactly like the photographs (really nice), it had everything we could have needed and it was very clean. Our dog very much enjoyed the fenced in back year. The house is in a great location, we took day trips all over both forks and had a great time. We hope to come back when there are leaves on the trees and the pool is open!

we rented La Spiaggia in December, and while it's mostly going to be more beautiful and better in the summer (since it's a beach house) it was still perfectly fine in the winter; well insulated and with good strong heaters. speaking of the beach I can't stress enough of how close this place is to the water; I'm talking literally ten steps to the sand. I would certainly recommend the place as a great summer getaway!
