Flew in from Toronto, Canada to this beautiful home away from home. Barbara, Graeme (and Rosie) were extremely hospitable and welcoming hosts. The cottage has everything you need. Lovely, comfortable linens and beds, clean and modern bathrooms, fully stocked kitchen, and great and private hot tub. The location is very rural, but easy to find with google maps. The town of Kilburnie is close by with a grocery store, gas station and pharmacy among other amenities.

We stayed at the house to celebrate my dad’s 60th birthday. The house was exactly what we needed for our large family, including children and babies. The house was very easy to find, plenty of parking for multiple cars and in a great location with lovely views over the sea. With 5 bedrooms and an additional cottage at the back of the garden we had plenty of space to suit all of our needs, multiple living areas allowed everyone to spread out. All in all, everyone was very happy with our stay, thank you to you both!

Lovely place. Accurate pictures, though when you get there it feels even nicer than photos can show. Very friendly and responsive. Sometimes it can be quite a vulnerable experience travelling as an LGBTQIA+ couple, but here we felt welcome and safe. Hope to visit again with friends and family.

Just came back from Ayr and stayed in one of the beautiful cottages. We booked very last minute, and Claire was so accommodating. From the moment you walk in it just feels like home, it's absolutely stunning and has everything you will need. It was so clean and the decor was unreal, really private and the views were superb. We will definitely return, I can't tell how much we loved it!!. Exceptional stay!!!

Hazel was a lovely host who was able to help us out when we got a little lost! The hot tub was a lovely feature and it was a very peaceful stay for our anniversary. Thank you for having us!

Karen and Colin were great hosts and looked after us during our stay. The cottage was lovely and cosy with electric heating and a wood burning stove. The enclosed garden was ideal for our wee dogs. The cottage was well situated for exploring Kintyre and the Isle of Ghia. We are hoping to rebook Ballochroy Cottage for another week later this year.

We had a great stay at Sue’s place! It was all clean and felt like a home away from home - perfect for us and our two Goldens. Sue is so lovely - we had a few issues with our ferry and she help us out so much, so in the end it all worked out! Thank you again!

Kildrochet house was very comfortable and spacious, we particularly enjoyed the cosy lounge, stylish bedroom/ en suite and luxury bath! Very enjoyable stay- thank you.

Great little comfy and cosy cottage within walking distance of everything in and near Brodick. Ample living room space and nice kitchen / dining room. Ideal having the enclosed space out the back for our dog too. Would definitely recommend for your stay in Arran. Lorna was very helpful throughout.

We loved our stay here. The cottage itself is beautiful, the photos don’t do it justice- cosy and thoughtfully converted. The location was perfect for us, quiet and surrounded by countryside but only a 5 min drive to the nearest town and nearby to family we were visiting in the local area. We were travelling with our toddler son and dog, so the fireguard and stair gates provided were much appreciated! We felt really relaxed for our whole stay and David was friendly and helpful. We would love to return and stay again.

Excellent accommodation in the ideal position to explore Islay. The house was spotlessly clean, well maintained and very comfortable and warm.

We had a lovely time here. The cottage is warm and homely. Nice and clean, comfy beds, lots of space, some local leaflets and maps, books, new kitchen cloths, lovely towels. There were also the nice extra touches like a pint of milk in the fridge, a few spices and salt, kitchen roll, foil and cling film. Things that make all the difference. With a view of the sea from the bedrooms and in a wonderful tucked away place. Thank you!

A wonderful place to relax and recuperate. We had a family gathering (3 couples) and enjoyed spending the days chatting, reading books snd playing games by the stove, and making meals together. The place really is a home from home, making it easy and stress free.

A beautiful little cottage with a well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. Made for a perfect weekend stay for our group of 3 friends and we loved sitting out the front with views to the sea, Gigha and Jura. Friendly and kind hosts. Highly recommend and would love to stay again.

Lovely stay in an outstanding cottage. Beautiful and stylish though cosy with a great view and a great kitchen which has everything you need. Very clean and spacious. We were unlucky with the weather but sitting next to the fireplace warmed us up nicely. We were welcomed very friendly and helpfull. We had a delicous dinner in Killberry and a beautifull hike near Ardpatrick. Would love to come back with friends!

The cottage is an extremely comfortable and warm haven. Set in picturesque surroundings at the end of a farm track. It is extremely well equipped and the large hallway and utility/ drying area was excellent for all our coats and shoes etc. I would definitely recommend this place x

Nan is fabulous and so is her place! This was our second time and we came back specifically because of how wonderful she is. The home is beautiful and has everything you’ll need to have a fabulous stay. You will also be located if the most gorgeous part of Ireland!

Exceeded our expectations for sure. Enjoyed every minute. Host went out of her way to meet with us. Cottage did not lack anything. Area was quite and in the middle of nature.

We really enjoyed our stay . The wood burning stove was a bonus and we loved how cozy the house was. Recommend buying additional logs - Heather has a supply there and a couple of extra bags kept us going. It is a beautiful part of the world and well worth a visit. We will be back
