Nos encantó quedarnos en casa de Marina, es un alojamiento que tiene todo para sentirte como en casa. Está en una zona muy tranquila. La caravana es preciosa, impecablemente limpia como el resto y disfrutamos de un baño privado exterior muy completo. Todo decorado con muy buen gusto. Tiene una terraza enorme, y un jardín precioso a orillas de la playa donde pasamos muy buenos ratos. Tiene buenos restaurantes cerca y caminando 15 minutos llegas al pueblo donde hay supermercados y todo lo necesario. Pero lo mejor es Marina y su equipo, unos maravillosos anfitriones. Siempre estuvieron pendientes de nosotros. Nos recibieron de manera muy cariñosa y nos dieron muchas sugerencias sobre nuestro viaje, ayudándonos con todo lo que necesitamos. Incluso nos organizaron la excursión a las islas Bazaruto que nos encantó. También nos ayudaron con el taxi y el autobús para ir a Tofo. Recomendamos 1000x100 este alojamiento. Sin duda el mejor de Vilanculos.

This accommodation is truly a unique find. I had been waiting years to book it and visit east london and it did not disappoint. Isabella was an amazing host checking in on us, lending me supplies and suggesting activities and restaurants around the area. If you are looking for a once in a lifetime experience in a beautiful eclectic accommodation please book from them. You will not be disappointed!

Such a beautiful spot to stay at. We DEFINITELY relaxed and enjoyed tne slowness of life while staying at the retro van. Thank you for a wonderful time!

We got what we paid for, good-value for money. Honest, down-to-earth folks. Host & guest were welcoming, peaceful surroundings, a lively bird-life and nests, and a minute from a national highway. Old caravan was tall enough & comfortable enough for a good night's sleep. Power went out but the host had warned us & it was beyond their control. 100% met our needs for a nights 'hi way resting place'.

I see a couple of previous guests have commented that it's a converted garage, but what that translates to is a fully independent studio flat in the heart of the village. 2 mins walk takes you to the local cafés and pub, not to mention Komsurf, and the same to the beach. Hard to say who provides the warmer welcome; Taryn or her dogs/cat. All of which means a super friendly relaxed beachside stay, totally in sync with the Kommetjie vibe. Thank you Taryn.

It was such a pleasure and gift to stay in Uys and Marina’s place. It is such a nice space and the hosts are amazing, it was just meant to be. Ofcourse you need to enjoy a bit of camping lifestyle and “challenges”. 😉 Definitely will be visiting again and feel like i found more new beautiful conscious souls in the Cape.

Really really nice place to get away from busy city life. We enjoyed relaxing in the lounge area with a view of the outside, and especially stargazing at night due to very little light pollution from the surrounding areas. Bonnie was also really helpful, he met us for check-in and did regular follow-ups to ensure we were sorted.

What an utter delight. A gem nestled in the Karoo, clearly a labour of love from the hosts. Comfortable, good facilities for a braai, a drink and a swim. We will definitely be back!

Review for Off the Road Stay at Bev I recently had the pleasure of staying at Bev's place, and I can't rave enough about the experience! From the moment we arrived, Bev was incredibly welcoming, making us feel right at home. The accommodations were fully equipped with everything we could possibly need—and then some! We were pleasantly surprised to find not only the essentials but also those random extras that truly made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The kitchen had pots, pans, cutlery, plates—literally everything you could name! It allowed us to prepare meals without any hassle. One of the standout features was the private full bathroom, which made it easy to unpack and settle in for our stay. It was clean and well-maintained, adding to our overall comfort. The bedding was neat and clean, which is always a top priority for me when traveling. It's clear that Bev takes great care of her space, and it really shows. Overall, I can confidently say that I will be coming back again

The Caravan at Kiva Moya is a wonderful place to stay that gave me a real chance to recharge. The set up is basic, but very comfortable and fun, and everything you need is there in ample supply. Cláudia is an incredibly generous host, and the property is magical and wild. It's a great bush getaway close to the city. My experience was also really private, which was lovely.
