Vorab schon sehr gute Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin, sehr schön gelegen, das Haus sehr ruhig traumhafte Landschaft mit einem sensationellen Sonnenuntergang. Man kann bis ans Meer gucken. Auch wenn es weit weg ist. Alles neu alles sauber. Ein Haus zum Wohl fühlen. Wir kommen wieder!

Absolutely magical. This mountain cabin was the perfect escape—tucked away in complete peace and quiet, surrounded by breathtaking views and nature at its best. The cottage itself was stunning: beautifully decorated with so much attention to detail, it instantly felt like home. Anso, the host, had truly thought of everything—we wanted for nothing. The birdlife was incredible, with constant birdsong adding to the serene atmosphere. We even spotted dassies and klipspringers right near the cottage, which was such a treat. One of the highlights was swimming in the rock pools—completely refreshing. If you’re looking to disconnect, slow down, and immerse yourself in nature, this is the place. We’ll definitely be back.

We had the best time! Ruben was especially accommodating to our 18 month old with camping cot and baby chair. We really appreciated it!

Lily Pond hosted by the genial Hildegard and Liam, deserves all the sparkling stars one can see from their panoramic, silhouetted view on a clear night’s sky! An unmatched experience in every way, gentle kayaking to the backdrop of nature’s chorus, bathing in crystal clear wooded streams, pristine stillness and privacy. Complemented by an almost effortless hospitality. If you are fortunate enough to have stumbled upon availability for this stay - waste no further time.

Had a wonderful stay in nature and tranquility. Our first time in the area with much more to offer than we had thought. Some of the best wines, excellent restaurants in beautiful locations, good hiking. In short absolute worth the trip and definitely a come back. Many thanks.

We had the most incredible stay at The River House! The house is perfectly situated right on the river, offering peaceful views and a real sense of tranquility. The space was spotless, tastefully decorated, and had everything we needed (and more). Seeing the White Fronted Bee Eater catching bee’s in the front section of the house was a massive highlight for my 8 year old son who is a huge birder. Sunset drinks on the deck were very special and relaxing which is what we were looking for. The pool was a big hit with the kids – so much fun. The location is fantastic—close enough to Addo Elephant Park for day trips. We saw so much wildlife nearby, and even just sitting on the deck felt like a mini safari. Highly, highly recommend this place if you're looking for a peaceful retreat with a touch of luxury and lots of heart. Thank you Lisa and family for sharing your special spot with us.

Wonderful host, amazing views, we literally felt right at home, very peaceful area with some lovely Visits from Kudu’s. Definitely would recommend and would definitely come back again. All in all it was amazing
