Really enjoyed my time unwinding at “the barn”! Definitely worth the extra drive to meet and be hosted by Tom and Charlotte. Such wonderful hosts. If I’m ever in the area again I’ll definitely be back!

Denise and Al are wonderful, attentive hosts. They have a beautiful, cozy, bed & breakfast. The private space is large, comfortable and well equipped for down time after a long day of sightseeing or traveling. Everything was very clean and tidy (bedroom, bathroom and living area). The bed itself was very comfortable, we had a great sleep. They also make a delicious breakfast. Their attention to detail was fantastic, they had water and homemade baking waiting for us on arrival, as well as bathrobes and slippers to help get comfortable. We would stay again and definitively recommend for anyone who isnt familiar with Calgary. Our only regret is that we didnt have time to try the spa/massage services offered.

We highly recommend this Cochrane stay to anyone visiting the area. The location is perfect—offering breathtaking views of the Rocky Mountains while being close to Calgary. Our hosts were exceptionally welcoming and attentive, providing excellent local tips and ensuring our utmost comfort. The room and bathroom were spotless. Each morning, the breakfast was an absolute delight.

This was a charming Airbnb with great hosts. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful, the house was beautiful and within walking distance of downtown. Their puppy was also the cutest!!

I am so thankful we ended up booking with Tom and Char. We had a quick stay, one night. We wanted to checkout nearby writing on stone and Waterton so we stayed here to break up the journey. This place is amazing, such fantastic history and architecture with the house. They were kind and shown us the photobook of the progress of them renovating the barn. I told my boyfriend multiple times it's basically my dream house. The atmosphere is so very serene and quiet, and most importantly the hosts are so wonderful and had great hospitality. The place is spotless and the decor is just amazing. The pumpkin waffles for breakfast were such a lovely icing on the cake of the stay. The other guests were very respectful. Tom and Char were very careful in regards to covid, which is greatly appreciated. The bed was so comfy and the sheets so soft. Honestly stays like this is what makes travelling so wonderful. I would love to stay there again and would certainly recommend. the hickory smokehouse close by has amazing takeout to enjoy on the balcony of the barn as well :)

What a wonderful stay! The house was perfect including the comfort level, hosts, breakfasts and room with bathroom. Jeff and Angela were open and friendly and the food was fantastic. The location, just outside of Waterton Provincial Park and close to Cardston, couldn't have been better to see this beautiful part of southern Alberta. I highly recommend!

My friend and I stayed here for 3 nights while visiting Waterton National Park & Glacier National Park. Angela & Jeff are amazing hosts - they were so friendly, so kind, so attentive. The communication was fantastic; they also gave us loads of recommendations and wildlife updates. The house is beautiful, the pictures don't do it justice. I would recommend these hosts & this Airbnb to anyone staying around the area. We had a lovely time and would love to come back if we're ever down there again.

Der Aufenthalt bei Linda war sehr angenehm. Für die Preise in Calgary war es ein super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und Linda war sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Mit dem Bus, der direkt vor der Haustür losfährt, erreicht man easy Downtown in ca 15 Minuten.

We really enjoyed our stay here for a few night while on our road trip exploring National parks. Hosts were so friendly and helpful and the space was perfect! Breakfast was a huge plus as well as the option for sack lunches packed for us!

We stayed for one evening at The Gathering Ranch after the Strathmore Stampede and the location was perfect, just 5 minutes down the road from the rodeo. Kari and Aaron made us feel extremely welcome in their beautiful home. The house is warm and cosy with lovely decoration and nice details. Our bed was super comfy and everything very clean. Our hosts made an amazing breakfast in the morning - coffee, fresh juice, fruit, muffins and breakfast burritos which were super good!! One of party has a severe nut allergy and Kari went out of her way to reassure us that the food prepared was from a safe kitchen which was brilliant. We enjoyed the family feel of the accommodation (old school hosted AirBnB) and meeting the two beautiful German Shepherd dogs and outdoor cat. Such a wonderful start to our Canadian holiday. Thank you so much.

Absolutely fantastic. It was a very clean, well kept and modern room to stay for a night. I wouldn’t hesitate if you’re looking for a place to stay in the south end of Calgary.

I stayed here for 5 nights. Aileen and her husband were great hosts. Their house is very clean and tidy and so are the rooms and washroom. They are very kind, friendly and welcoming. I will definitely recommend this place and will come back here whenever possible. Cheers.. :)

What a wonderful stay. It has exceeded all our expectations. It is ten not even five stars accommodation. Breakfast was delicious. Hosts are friendly and wonderful couple. If I could, I would visit them often. The area is unbeatable. The Kananaskis Sheep River park is beautiful for hiking, picnics, etc activities.

the place was great! the room had a fireplace , a jacuzzi tub, and steam shower! overall it was great!

Very good place to stay for short term and long term. Daljit was very friendly and accommodating, whenever I say him he would always ask to if I had everything I needed. Rooms were very clean and looked linens for the bed looked new. The room is actually much larger and more spacious than the pictures make it appear. 10/10, would stay again if I had to go back to Drumheller.

Lynn and Daryl were excellent hosts! It was a very peaceful location, and they even offered to host a little 4th of July BBQ for a us wayward Americans. Breakfasts were great (rhubarb muffins and crumble were the best)! Lynn had some good advice for local eateries and hiking venues. The space was perfect for our purposes, and we hope to come back soon with more of the family. You are close the eastern edge of Kananaskis county so access to hikes and climbs is as close as 15 min away to the west, but are only about 35 min from Calgary is you want to get to the city. We had to leave early in the morning on our departure and Lynn made us a nice to go breakfast sandwich which was much appreciated! Definitely hope to be back!

Daljit's place was easy to get to, clean, comfortable and had everything you need. I would highly recommend staying there.

I would absolutely stay here again, great communication, friendly & welcoming, fabulously clean and although I didn’t stay for breakfast it looked delicious 🤤. Thank you so much Daljit.
