We had a great stay at this house! It was clean and spacious and had everything you could ask for. The dock was beautiful and was a perfect spot to hang out at. Would definitely book again when going to Herrington Lake.

Scott and Danielle thought of pretty much everything you could need at their place! They had everything we needed for our 1 year old which is part of the reason we booked it. Super thorough with everything about the space and local restaurant recommendations to try out. If we are ever back in Indy, 10/10 would stay here again!

Highly recommend staying at Max’s place if you have the chance! The space is amazingly private (I didn’t even feel like I was in town), gorgeous, and relaxing. I wish I could have stayed longer, and look forward to coming back! Thanks so much, Max!

This place is so cute — tastefully lake themed. The outdoor space is phenomenal. Everything was there, accessible and spotless. My only thought is to be mindful of the actual size of the house. It “sleeps” 5, but that would be crowded. The pictures are accurate, but they do make the space appear bigger. Having said that, I would come back in a heartbeat and would highly recommend to friends and family. Gorgeous spot and excellent host. Thanks!

We loved our long weekend at the cottage! It was such a peaceful setting that allowed us to relax and recharge. The lake-view from the deck, in the morning and evenings was awesome. It was a little too chilly for water activities, but we look forward to returning in the summer and taking full advantage of ‘lake life!’ The host was so accommodating. We loved the location in proximity to the daily activities we were doing-Creation Museum/Newport, visiting distilleries in Frankfort and the local Ark Encounter.

We loved staying at Spencer's place! It was the perfect place for a long weekend getaway and had everything we needed. It was probably the best stocked place we ever stayed in! From utensils, pots and pans, seasonings, to coffee and coffee creamer, it had everything. The big porch overlooking the river with the nice hot tub for those cool fall evenings couldn't have been better. If we had anything to say that wasn't 100%, the shower water doesn't stay hot, every 2-3 minutes it would get cold for 30 seconds and then get hot again. We adjusted once we figured out it might just be that way but we wanted to give people a heads up. Overall we really enjoyed our time here and will probably come back the next time we are in town. Thanks for everything!

My family will definitely be returning! Love the atmosphere, the setting, and the amenities. It is fun for kids and adults. It is relaxing and peaceful. There is no wifi and little cell service but for me and my family that is a win so we can unplug and spend quality time together. There are certain spots you can obtain cell service to contact loved ones and check in if need be!

If you have the chance to stay here, absolutely take it! The hosts were the most welcoming and friendly hosts I’ve ever stayed with in all my years staying in airbnbs. Their property was absolutely gorgeous and peaceful. The airbnb was also so cozy, and EXACTLY what me and my fiancé wanted for our getaway to disconnect from the chaos of the world. If you love cats, they have the best ( and sweetest) welcoming committee possible! They offered so many helpful recommendations for local restaurants and places to shop as well, which was so amazing. I genuinely cannot emphasize enough how wonderful they, and their home are! I’d absolutely stay here again the next time I’m in the area!

Our family had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday at this very spacious lake house. I would say they have the best view on the lake! We had everything we needed to host Thanksgiving dinner for family and loved ones. We especially enjoyed the hot tub! The only thing that could’ve made this better was if the weather had been just a little warmer so we could have sat on the swing in the lower level screened in porch. Great place for a family gathering!

A wonderful stay in the countryside. The surroundings are amazing and enough to stay. The home has a lot of space and each is comfortable. Beautiful views and quiet.

We stayed here for about 2 weeks. My husband, I and our 4 kids, 16,13,12 and 5. This is a simple home, simple living with beautiful surroundings. Its a great place to get away. We thank Judy so much for accommodating us and our family.

Judy was a great host! Everything was as described. She reached out several times to ensure we were OK and even before our trip to make sure we had knowledge on where we were going. One thing I am extremely particular on is cleanliness and I was blown away by how clean the cabin was! Judy ensured we had everything we needed in the cabin for our stay as well. This was the perfect home base for our bourbon trail adventure. Clean and comfortable and just as described and pictured in the listing. The property was way more than expected and we loved being able to walk around, greet the donkeys, and enjoy surroundings. It was also completely private and felt very much like we had our own little sanctuary for the week. We would definitely stay here again.

Cozy, clean cabin nestled in beautiful scenery with ponds, nearby lake for kayaking, hiking trail with cave, waterfall, Billy Goats gruff & trolls. Hosts were very responsive. Would be a great place for family reunions. Remote--DG Market about 20 minutes away. Large porches to relax & take in the views or firepit to gather around. Toured Crystal Onyx Cave with kitchy picture ops. Visited Bowling Green. Want to come back to track a corvette & visit museum. Booked 3 nights--should have planned a whole week!

Josh is an exceptional host! He had all of the information sent to me regarding the booking before I even arrived. He gave very detailed explanations of where to find everything, and expectations for check in/check out. This place is absolutely adorable, and my kids and I really enjoyed our stay. Stood here a few days with the a family and things could not have been better. Its right off 41, in a perfect location, Turkey Run was 5 mins away, Shades was about 25. My kids loved the cabin feel of the place, we had a fire every night and made smores with the kit left for us. We hiked for 4 days and were done with the trails, but did not want to leave this beautiful place. It was absolutely spotless when we walked in. Will be back next year for sure!

A fun cabin with nice amenities. Beautiful peaceful, private surroundings and overall, a very clean place. There were a few bugs in the upstairs bathroom, but the property is in the forest. One important note for anyone booking outside of summer months, there is not a true third bedroom. There is a single hanging bed on a screened-in porch. That would be a pleasant sleeping option during warmer months but not during winter and early spring months as there is no heat nor privacy on the back porch. For our March stay it could not serve as a bedroom. We had a nice stay but had to adjust as the 3rd bed was not an actual 3rd bedroom as advertised. Overall, a pretty awesome place for a getaway destination.
