We thoroughly enjoyed our stay which wished we could have been here longer. At first we thought the location was a bit off the beaten track but once there were blown away but the peace and quiet and beauty of the location in the middle of the woods. Both Slim and Alexa were very friendly and very helpful with tips etc. Internet connection was great too and well equipped studio. Thank you

Although not technically a cabin in the woods, that’s what it felt like. My one piece of advice would be to think about the exact experience you want. You’re about 20 minutes from a Little cafe, and maybe 45 minutes to Portland or Portsmouth. Totally doable! But it means you’ll be in the car a lot. I think the ideal use of this place is the in the middle of winter - load up the woodstove, lay in a supply of groceries, and commune with your beloved.

Hillary's place is a hidden gem. It's a little circuitous to get into the neighborhood, and honestly, until the last few hundred yards we weren't sure what we were getting into. However, once we got into the neighborhood proper, we found a quiet community right on the water with a view into the city. The apartment itself is tidy and quiet, it's close enough to Portland to make it easy to get into and out of, and we felt like we had been able to get away from it all for a few days.

The place was extremely clean and very roomy. Plenty of places to hang, and it also afforded privacy for multiple couples. Rebecca was so friendly and very responsive to all of my questions. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved staying on Lori's farm with our 2 dogs for one of their 14th birthday. It is a cozy little cabin that Lori had ready for us with the wood stove going when we arrived. The sauna was incredible as well and she gives outstanding massages. We wish her all of the best and appreciate everything! When you're in the area, check out Pottle's in Liberty. Thanks Lori!

We spent 3 nights at Smith Cottage. It was better than expected. Roomy, bright and has everything you need from a fully stocked kitchen, dishwasher and washer and dryer. Comfortable beds, ample space to store luggage and clothing. It's close to the beach and includes a tide table to help plan your beach walks. I would stay there again!

Lucy and Cat were great hosts. Very response when reaching out to let them know what time we’d arrive and if we had any questions during our stay. The guest house was just as describe in the listing. Lucy and Cat also sent over a long list of different restaurants in the area. Overall we had a great weekend.

We loved this little cabin. The update they did was beautiful. The decor and paint colors were neutral, earthy, cozy and calm. The kitchen had everything we needed and we thought it was so cool how the faucet lite up lol. The place was really clean as well. We ended up getting a lot of snow the night before our check out and the owners both came to shovel a pathway for us and shoveled around my car that I was packing which was really nice and thoughtful. If we find ourselves back in the area, we already said we’d book here again. Thank you !

My wife and I stayed for the last 2 weeks of the year. A very cozy place to come home to in the winter. Pine panelling on an open ceiling gives a rustic, cabin feel, especially with the stand of woods outside the window. Three large skylights allow plenty of natural light. No problem with the heater. It was a very comfortable place. Very easy access to I-295 and shopping for essentials. 15-20 minutes to Old Port area. And still it's very quiet and private. Easy to find in the dark - driveway right next to the town line. Hosts were responsive but not intrusive. Only cautions would be for very large people. Tolerances in the bathroom and carrying stuff up the typical Maine stairs to the apartment might be a concern. It was fine for us as we're small. We like to be close to things while feeling far away. It was perfect for us and reasonably priced.

My girlfriend and I really needed a night away from our families where we can just relax, soak in the hot tub and just enjoy talking and watching the sky. Gesine's place was amazing. It was very easy to find, felt very private was very comfortable and lucky for us came with all sorts of amenities that in our haste, we had forgotten! I cannot say enough about this Airbnb and cannot wait to go back!

Great little airbnb on the island. Private and easy to get to! Everything was clean and had the basic necessities. Would definitely visit again!

David's place was perfect for my husband, my 4 year old and I. It was on a very quiet street, but close to everything. There were even some granola bars, k cups, and lindt chocolates, which were a great, unexpected touch. Everything was very clean and David was very responsive. We'd love to stay here again next time we are in the area!

Hank & Heather ‘s cottage was great! They were both extremely friendly and had great recommendations. Fresh eggs and fresh sausage meat were in the fridge waiting for us! Nice extra touch. Heat worked great. Lovely porch and beautiful surroundings. My dog and I only stayed one night but we had a very restful and relaxing stay. Walking the property was extra special for my dog! Definitely recommend and hope to return. I was able to buy some fresh ground chicken, mostly backs and necks, which was perfect for my dog as he is raw fed. It was an extra perk that I (&my dog) greatly appreciated.

Enjoyed our stay with George and Ethel! George was extremely communicative leading up to and the day of our stay to make sure we arrived without a hitch. Traveling with dogs can be tough, and options can be limited, but George and Ethel made us feel right at home, including a welcome doggie basket for our pups. Nestled in nature, this is wonderful hideaway from the hustle and bustle. Feeding the wild turkeys was the highlight of our mornings there. Thank you George and Ethel, I hope we can be back to stay again!

We LOVED the Kittery Cottage! Coming to stay felt like being in our home away from home. Simone was responsive and she has thought of everything! We plan to always stay here moving forward. Thank you!

This is our third year staying here as our home base for XC skiing at Bretton Woods. Littleton is a great town with cute shops and good restaurants. This guest house is very clean, has everything you need, and the owners are so responsive. We were even surprised this time with a delightful welcome basket filled with yummy local treats. Excited for next year!

Our one-night stay at Heidi's charming cottage was everything we hoped for and more. Nestled in a beautiful wooded location, the cottage offered a peaceful retreat. The cozy, quaint interiors made it feel like a true home away from home. The highlight of our stay was the breathtaking stargazing – the clear night sky was absolutely magical. We highly recommend this serene getaway and couldn't have asked for a more perfect experience!

Our stay was amazing. The Appleton Retreat was peaceful and a great place to recharge. We enjoyed the trail walk to the pond with the host’s dogs as our tour guides! We also enjoyed some of their local recommendations for eating and drinking. This cabin in the woods getaway went above and beyond our expectations. The hot tub was a huge plus. We would recommend The Appleton Retreat as we enjoyed every aspect of our stay.

Même s'il est au dessus de trois garages, le logement a une entrée privée et il est tranquille. Il est bien équipé, très bien entretenu et propre. Carol est vraiment très réactive aux messages laissés. Il y a deux restaurants à moins de 10 minutes à pied de l'appartement, il y en a même d'autres un peu plus loin. Nous avons essayé le Cold Mountain Café, très bon service et c'était vraiment très bon. Nous sommes des randonneurs et beaucoup de montagnes sont accessibles à moins de 30 minutes en voiture du logement. Nous recommandons fortement cet endroit.

Awesome place, very nicely furnished, bed was super comfortable (thats important when its not your own bed!) Austin and Renee were very nice people, responsive and very helpful..plus, my dog LOVED the front yard, she was so joyous when we were outside...it was a big plus for her and i to have that run around safe space for her. Will definately be back next time i come up for work!!! Awesome hosts!

At the Sparrow's nest, we nestled in immediately. This was by far the most beautiful and magical stay -EVER. The pictures are amazing but the space is even better in person. Every inch of this gorgeous place was gracefully designed and decorated. The beds were like sleeping upon a cloud in luxury sheets. The hosts were so friendly and fun to talk to. We found many things in common. They provided us with names of great local restaurants and things to see and do. I am already planning to go back again next year and probably the year after that!
