This home exactly what we were hoping for! Great kitchen and plenty of space to gather with family. Comfy beds!!! Brenda was so nice and super helpful, and really went out of her way to make sure our family felt at home. We’ll stay here again on our next visit, for sure!

Abbie's house was exactly what we needed for our family week-end trip! Plenty of room to spread out, and the kids and men enjoyed the pool table and other game tables. The home is decorated very eclectic. Lots to look at! We will definitely stay again if we're in town for another volleyball tournament.

My family enjoyed our stay. The location was nice for our plans (some hiking at Little Grand Canyon and visiting Carbondale), beautiful view from the home, loved the hot tub (suspect pool would be awesome in summer too). Very clean, plenty of space for our group. Only change I would make is a bigger kitchen table. We will probably return!

Quiet space in a beautiful location. Clean and comfortable with plenty of room for multiple families to both come together and spread out. Well stocked with necessities and the pool is a great amenity!

Loved staying at this location. So close to restaurants and shops and outdoor adventures. Very quiet. Amazing views of stars. Plenty of sleeping spaces. Very responsive and helpful host!

Beautiful and extra clean! My favorite airbnb so far. It would be a wonderful summer vacation place for families to enjoy all the amenities such as fishing pond and pool. And close enough to Shawnee National Forest and Marion for different adventures.

Bird nest was the BEST decision to make to stay in Paducah! Hosts were super friendly and very helpful! They were accommodating, very communicative and problem solvers! If I had any question, they were responsive and would give instructions on how to move forward with said question/trouble! I 10000% recommend staying here! For me it only took 5 minutes to get to downtown and 10 minutes to get to the mall! For anyone that’s looking for a weekend get away or even a week to explore, PLEASE check this location out! Totally worth it! Thank you Summer and Langdon!

This is an excellent getaway for anyone wanting to enjoy the beauty of Southern Illinois. The price point is great, its much better than a hotel. The washer and dryer is awesome, the kitchen is excellent and would allow someone who can cook to do about anything they want to do. The bedrooms looked great and the living space furniture was fine. I honestly never watched the tv, but it looked like a really nice big screen. Its in a rural spot with very little traffic and quiet, but your minutes away from Carbondale, a little farther down the road is Marion, both places have excellent dining and more city atmosphere. Crab Orchard NWR is almost the back yard.

I've been here several times. Never a disappointment. Beautiful surroundings, peaceful, just a great place to unwind. Vern and Carol are the nicest people. Fresh eggs from the on-site chickens is a big bonus. If you need to relax and unplug, this is the place to be. So hard to leave when it's time to go. Can't wait to come back AGAIN!!

Great spot for a relaxing over night during a long road trip. House is as described - the kitchen made it easy to prepare a quick dinner and the beds are comfy! And nice to find a place that is both pet and toddler friendly. Will be checking if it’s available the next time we drive this route!

This was my second time staying there. Absolutely as enjoyable as the first time. I will definitely be looking to stay there again in the future when I find myself traveling to southern Illinois.

This is a great central location to hike the area's state parks. At night, to come back and settle into the couch, enjoy the fireplace, and read a book: it's delightful. It is very well stocked, tastefully decorated, has all the amenities. Quiet neighborhood. Quiet home.

Had a great stay celebrating my dad's 90th birthday! The house was easy to find, clean and Trenton was responsive to my questions. Would stay here again!

Wonderful, spacious cabin with lovely front and rear decks to hang out on. plenty of room in all common areas, kitchen, bedrooms etc. my group stayed during a severe thunderstorm week, and we felt perfectly safe and comfortable during the inclement weather. it was nice having the extra room to relax in during the rainy weather between outings. A bit of a drive to "civilization", but not too far. some cute country stores nearby as well as a village with gas station, basic amenities etc. Host was quick to remedy any issues that arose. Overall, a lovely retreat: 10/10, would stay again!

Everything wss just as expected. The grounds and house are beautiful! We had plenty of space for oir group of 10 people. I would absolutely stay here again!

This was a beautiful place to stop with kids on our roadtrip. The scenery was beautiful and the house was clean and comfortable. Our kids loved the pond and wishes they had more time to stay.

Great little place! Flew in to watch our son play a weekend of baseball for the Salukis. Close to everything and made the 5 night stay so much better than hotel life. Definitely will be back when we visit again!

I am satisfied with this visit. A first anniversary weekend for us. The place lived up to the description. We appreciated having space to enjoy one another and have a small bonfire in the back. The provided kitchen and coffee space was also nice. This place would also be good for a few friends to visit.

I absolutely enjoyed staying at Elizabeth’s place, it was so peaceful and lovely view of cows! 3 lovable kitties that are outside💗 She made us feel welcome and at home! Her house is so vintage and old it’s so beautiful! We’re definitely going to book with her again she was the best host ever! Highly recommend booking with her!!

Lacey was very easy to deal with and the house was very cozy and clean. I come up here a few times a year and I will be staying here again.
