Fantastiskt hus och natur med mycket vilda djur på stor mark. (påfåglar, fladdermöss) Hundarna är ett problem för mig som är hundrädd vilket drar ner upplevelsen något då de både skäller på natten och strövar runt poolen på dagarna. (notera: De är snälla) Servicen och personalen på plats va hjälpsamma och snälla. Vi älskade kvällsbad i poolen, en fin promenad ner till stranden och ett avlägset privat boende med autentisk känsla. AC på rummet är ett måste, fint att det fanns. Vi älskade Polhena och matlagningskursen i Sambol Garden.

I would recommend. The owner being very supportive during the check-in process also invited people to take our luggage for us. Rooms are clean and I would say a great experience overall. Great location though not on the main road but you got monkeys, lake view and tranquility. Walkable distance to great restaurants.

Chathura and his wife have been extremely nice to let us leave the bags at the place after check out so that we could make the best use of our day in Hikkaduwa. He’s been very responsive and happy to help with everything, he also gave us tips of where to eat and shop!

A beautiful place in an awesome location with private access to a stunning beach. We loved our stay and the staff were extremely helpful and cooked great dishes both for breakfast and dinner.

Pavi, Bathi and their family and friends are the loveliest of people, always ready to help or offer advice when needed. Our apartment was situated on the 2nd floor and was lovely, bedroom and bathroom bare very large as is the kitchen diner, if there was anything you needed Pavi got it sorted asap, the grounds are immaculate and have a plethora of wildlife wandering the grounds, the use of the swimming pool was a great addition. Polhena itself is situated in a great spot for travelling out from and has a wonderful little beach(it does get busy at weekends). Shops are in walking distance as is the main town of Matara or a short fun tuk tuk ride. Colombo and other places are easily accessible via buses or train, both a fun way to travel. We will be back.

Perfect for what we needed, walking distance to shops and restaurants. Staff were very kind and helpful. Ours room was spotless and just like the pictures.

The dog house var verkligen jättevackert och fint inrett med otrolig utsikt. Byn låg lite avsides men alla var otroligt vänliga och hjälpsamma , inte minst Lahiru själv som hjälpte oss med vad vi än behövde. Då boendet saknade AC var det väldigt varmt då vi var där eftersom solen låg på, men det fanns fläkt på båda våningarna. Kommer sakna den lilla byn, närheten till naturen och havet och de små lokala affärerna där det mesta kunde hittas.

Mango house was just perfect for our stay in Unawatuna. We felt very welcome from the beginning. The team was amazing and made our stay very special. Manoj was very good with communication and answered our questions/requests asap. The villa was very spacious, airy and very well maintained. We enjoyed our morning coffees in the upper veranda and breakfast was excellent with variable menu. I would also recommend to order lunch from the team; it was an unique experience. Beds were comfortable and nice showers with plenty of hot water. The location is a bit uphill, but nothing we couldn't manage. I would love stay here again some day.

We had an unforgettable stay in Kalametiya, Sri Lanka, at this stunning beachfront villa with an amazing garden. The house is brand new and beautifully designed, with a private pool and a small splash pool perfect for our young children (2 and 4 years old). Everything looked so nice, and the attention to detail was impressive. Dinesh (house manager) and the rest of the staff went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. The breakfast and dinners were delicious, and we ended our trip with a fantastic beachfront BBQ. We even enjoyed a relaxing massage in the garden—truly a special experience. The villa is in a more secluded location, with not many restaurants nearby, except for the seafood restaurant across the street, which serves amazing food. If you're looking for a peaceful escape, this is the perfect place to unwind and relax. We had a wonderful time and can’t thank Dinesh and his team enough for their incredible hospitality. We truly hope to return one day!

Merveilleux séjour en famille !! La villa est exceptionnelle, la situation est parfaite, a proximité de restaurants et dans le quartier résidentiel de Mahdia a Mirissa ( a mon avis, le meilleur endroit pour séjourner). La présence d'Indika durant le séjour rend le séjour mémorable. extrêmement gentil, attentionné et discret il lui tient a cœur que les voyageurs puissent passer un séjour d'exception. Grâce a ces conseils et son aide durant le séjour nous avons pu nous relaxer et profiter au maximum de nos vacances en famille. Merci encore Indika !! Bella et Gaston les deux chiens de la maison sont également très discrets et sympathiques. Bref, Tout était parfait

Es war wunderschön, noch viel besser als beschrieben! Die Villa war bei unserer Ankunft im makellosem Zustand und wir wurden sehr freundlich durch Sunethra und Pamoda empfangen, die sich jederzeit um alles kümmern und viele Tipps geben können. Die Villa entspricht voll und ganz der Beschreibung und es ist in Wirklichkeit noch viel schöner als auf den Bildern. Es gibt einen 24 Stunden Security-Service der das Grundstück und die Einfahrt bewacht. Dadurch ist die Privatsphäre leider nicht zu 100% gegeben. Die Villa liegt schön ruhig in einer Wohngegend, direkt am Meer, ist aber nur ein paar Tuk-Tuk Minuten von Restaurants, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (inklusive Wine Store) und allem was man braucht entfernt. Wir hatten eine wirkliche traumhafte Zeit in der Villa und haben jede Sekunde mehr als genossen. Wir würden sofort wiederkommen. Vielen Dank noch einmal für alles... Leider wird momentan gegenüber wohl ein Hotel errichtet.

Such a great place to stay when visiting Hikkaduwa. The location is great right on the beach with easy access to local spots and frequent tuk tuks around if you want to go further afield. The house staff were so so friendly and helpful and went over and above to make us welcome. The food they prepared was delicious and they all tried hard to play with my 4 year old boy, he loved them all. Highly recommend!

This is a truly unique home in a fantastic location with breathtaking views of the ocean. The design of the house is exquisite, crafted with great taste, style, and a soul of its own. Nissanka and Damith are incredibly hospitable, always ready to assist, guide, and organize anything for their guests. Their cooking is exceptional! We had an amazing time here. We had a great time in the Villa, great location, the hostess was super friendly and the area was great! We enjoyed the pool everyday and it was much appreciated by our kids, since the breach has really high waves, having a privet pool was fantastic. Yes, the villa is really close to the train tracks but it only goes by from time to time so it did not bother us that much. We loved it!

Our five-day stay at this house was truly enjoyable. We had a spacious apartment with three bedrooms and a living room connected to the kitchen. Each bedroom had its own private bathroom, which provided us with comfort and privacy. One of the biggest advantages of this place was its cleanliness – both the rooms and common areas were very well maintained. The owners were incredibly kind and helpful, making us feel truly comfortable throughout our stay. Another great benefit was the option to order meals. We took advantage of this and tried traditional Sri Lankan dinners, which were delicious and well-prepared. The location also impressed us – just a two-minute bus ride from the apartment was a beautiful beach, perfect for swimming and relaxing. Additionally, the house had a clean swimming pool with warm water, which was a fantastic addition to our stay.

The Blue Peacock Beach is everything you could wish for! From the first moment you arrive you feel at home, both in relation to the property but also the warm welcome from Chandana and Sumita. The villa itself takes your breath away. The beautiful building itself, the quiet location on the beach, the verendah area to relax and hear the waves in the background, to the rest of the villa which is kept really clean across all bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen. The villa simply feels like a home away from home. The real asset of the stay for me and my family was Chandana’s support during our stay. From the amazing food, to general advice on the area - he is truly a gem and makes you really feel like you have known him for years. I would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Sri Lanka and look forward to coming back soon. Thank you Patricia for welcoming us into your home.

Wonderful Villa. One of the most beautiful properties I've visited. My partner and enjoyed the calm atmosphere and the beautiful scenery. The beach was super close, however make sure you don't leave your belongings unattended, there were multiple occasions where we would find a man hiding in the trees trying to grab them. Also, be very careful swimming in the ocean, the waves pick up very quickly and you could easy get stuck in the riptide. Other than that, the Villa was amazing and clean. The host was responsive and very friendly and Mango the cat was a wonderful companion.

Was a nice stay at the Villa. And peshita was always there to help and for questions.

Ricky's place is simply wonderful - the house itself, the high ceilings and all the details, the view, the sunrise every morning, the breeze, the little Blue Beach nearby... The location is perfect - close enough to amazing beaches but still far enough from noisy, popular places. We had everything we needed and I only wish we stayed longer. Madu, who is assisting Ricky, is super helpful. He organized the airport transfer and then subsequent urgent transfer to the hospital in Matara because our little son got quite sick. Madu also gave us great tips for places to eat and beaches nearby. One of the cutest things was Mati - the dog of the property. My kids wanted to take Mati back home with us, and if we could, we would have - an amazing dog. We will be happy to be back one day and stay for a while. This airbnb feels like a home instantly.

Some of the reviews here made me second guess my booking, but you can't always rely on what you read. That said I LOVED my stay here, it was heaven on earth literally ON the beach. I am traveling through SL solo and this place was a dream, Ravi was so helpful and accommodating, he and I got along very well, (yes he is a bit rough around the edges) but you can't always judge a book by its cover. Ravi went out of his way to make me feel welcomed. Erich was amazing as well, his communicaiton was excellent, very responsive. Points: Make sure you discuss price upfront before anything. My only complaint is that Ravi had a bag of laundry done for me and the next day charged me $40 USD!!!! I was floored. I had two bags of laundry done a few days later for $6.50 USD wishing you both all the success ( I have already told 3 people to book with you when they get down South) I hope they do!

Super endroit,belle maison,je dirai plutôt bel appartement,il n'y a plus de table en exterieur .cependant la décoration,l'agencement,la climatisation,la literie sont excellentes,modernes et très agréable. La cuisine et les salles de bain sont de très bon niveau très pratiques et de bon goût Je recommande ce logement de part sa situation géographique et son agencement moderne et très déco .La famille est très accueillante et fait tout pour rendre service.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful Sri Lanka villa! Four of us stayed here, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The view of the beach is absolutely stunning, and the location offers great access to the town via tuk tuk, making it easy to explore. Loku, the caretaker brought so much happiness and positive energy to our stay, always making sure we were comfortable. Anders, the host, was incredibly attentive, checking in regularly via message and being super helpful before and during our stay. One of the best parts was having a special night with a local chef who cooked an unforgettable Sri Lankan dinner for us. The villa itself was modern, comfortable and well-equipped, making our stay so enjoyable. We highly recommend this place and loved our stay!

Good place for family holidays. They have a chef who will plate some amazing food.
