Nurwan was incredibly responsive and helpful during my stay. I wanted a rolling pin to make chapatis, and he not only got that for me but also surprised me with a new chopping board. When I rented a motorbike and ended up in a minor crash with a tuk-tuk, Nurwan made sure I was okay and even negotiated the damage with the tuk-tuk driver, which saved me from being overcharged for repairs. The fiber internet was significantly better than the average 4G connection found in many places, which was great since I was working remotely. He even brought me an office chair for added comfort. I couldn't have asked for more! I also learned that he plans to refresh and renovate the property soon, so I can only imagine it will get even better. Nurwan and his friends were very friendly; we even had a BBQ and some drinks one Saturday night. The beach is a short walk away and remains quiet, free from mass tourism. Local shops are also just a short walk away. I will definitely return to work and relax.

The Blue Peacock Beach is everything you could wish for! From the first moment you arrive you feel at home, both in relation to the property but also the warm welcome from Chandana and Sumita. The villa itself takes your breath away. The beautiful building itself, the quiet location on the beach, the verendah area to relax and hear the waves in the background, to the rest of the villa which is kept really clean across all bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen. The villa simply feels like a home away from home. The real asset of the stay for me and my family was Chandana’s support during our stay. From the amazing food, to general advice on the area - he is truly a gem and makes you really feel like you have known him for years. I would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Sri Lanka and look forward to coming back soon. Thank you Patricia for welcoming us into your home.

What a gem. We had the most wonderful 2 night stay with our two young children. Everything was perfect, the location was easily walkable to Galle fort, but serene, private and relaxing at the house. There was plenty of room for us all and had a lovely breakfast provided each morning. The garden and pool were the icing on the cake, our kids loved swimming, playing and watching the monkeys running by. Stay here, it’s amazing.

The best villa we found in southern Sri Lanka. The photographs do not do justice this peaceful, beautiful haven. The grounds are luscious and pristine due to the grounds men who work on the premises. The owners are friendly and easily contactable. Location is a short walk from beaches and supermarkets or a 10min tuk tuk to the lively Unawatuna. Highly recommend this gem of a villa.

We had a great stay at Bryan's place. It is a short walk to the beaches and plenty of restaurants, but situated up by other residences so it is quiet and peaceful. There was plenty of space and great wifi which we found rare in other areas! The house keeper and her family were wonderful and always available with anything we needed.

We really have enjoyed our stay in this peace of heaven ... We felt alone in the nature... Such a beautiful place, the staff is wonderful and a big thank to Ami, she was absolutely lovely and stay at our disposal at anytime... We will definitely recommend this beautiful place ... Wir waren als 4 Erwachsene in der Unterkunft und hatten eine großartige Zeit. es war die schönste Unterkunft in Sri Lanka. besondere Highlights: - Pool mit Meerblick - Privater Strandzugang - Babyschildkröten - Sehr freundlicher und süßer Hund - toller Service - mitten in der Natur - eine kleine Oase - Surfspot um die Ecke - Private Atmosphäre - Gute Restaurants in der Umgebung Der Host war jederzeit erreichbar und hat uns mit all unseren Bedürfnissen geholfen. Lediglich den empfohlenen Scooters Verleih können wir nicht empfehlen. Insgesamt eine tolle Erfahrung und wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir haben als 6 köpfige Familie eine tolle Woche in Podis Unterkunft verbracht. Die Lage direkt am Meer ist natürlich ein Traum. Es gibt genug Schattenplätze, was toll war. Die meiste Zeit hatten wir den Strand für uns fast allein. Mit Kindern muss man aber sehr aufpassen wegen der Wellen, sie können nicht eigenständig baden, wenn sie noch nicht sicher schwimmen. Es gibt keine Wasserspender oder Moskitospiralen, was für uns ungewöhnlich war. Diese muss man sich selber besorgen. Aber in dem kleinen Supermarkt gegenüber findet man alles für den „Erstangriff“. Das süße Beach Restaurant nebenan (Tramonto) war super lecker und ist äußerst empfehlenswert! Podi war sehr hilfsbereit bei der Planung eines Ausflugs zu den Mangroven und hat uns auch eine Geburtstagstorte besorgt. Er ist reaktionsschnell und wurde vor Ort von seinem Cousin vertreten.

This is the best Airbnb we have ever stayed at. We were made to feel like VIPs. Incredible value. We are here every day and omg it was some of the best food we have ever eaten. View from the water tower for sunset was stunning. I would 100% recommend this to anyone!!!!!!!! Thank you so much.
