The apartment is located on the first floor of a three-story building; the family of the owner of the apartment lives on the second floor. You will also have access to the roof on which peacocks fly. The apartments are large, you have a full kitchen with (microwave, blender, rice cooker, stove) there is an ironing board and iron. Vacuum cleaner and cleaning products. The owner also bought additional shampoo and hair conditioner. The house itself is located not far from the roadway, but the sounds of cars are absolutely inaudible. Keep in mind that the house is located on the ground floor and some insects that are not dangerous may enter you. There were some interruptions with the Internet, but the owner did everything possible to correct the situation, but I advise you to buy an additional SIM card with Internet. The owner speaks very good English and helps with all questions. If you decide to stay you will feel safe with this family😊

Had stayed at mirrisa at this place, place is extremely clean and well maintained, host's are very kind and I highly recommend anyone to consider this place for smooth stay

Sameera was very helpful from the beginning. We went to his place when a monkey created an electric shortage in the whole country, and he made sure that we had enough water, lamp and kept us posted about all the updates. During our stay we were able to enjoy the monkey family in the trees around, the peacock that was chilling around, many birds and reptiles. It is surrounded by the jungle so the view and vibe is great, be prepared to fight mosquitos if they usually love you (my partner didn't get as much as me). The kitchen was the best equipped we had so far in any Airbnb we had, as digital nomad since 7 months around Asia, it was very appreciated. The bed was comfortable. We struggled a bit with the washing machine that is half manual, and wasn't draining the water completely. Wi-Fi lagged a bit per moment, but nothing excessive, it was otherwise fast and perfect to work with. Overall a very great quality price, we highly recommend Sameera's place.

J'ai passé un séjour très agréable dans cette petite maison privée (le propriétaire habite ailleurs). Ce logement est récent donc il est en état neuf. Il y a un grand lit king size de très bonne qualité (+ un petit lit d'appoint dans l'entrée), la climatisation et un ventilateur, une machine à laver et une cuisine. Il y a zéro bruit extérieur donc j'ai très bien dormi. Le logement est situé dans un quartier résidentiel et non touristique, avec beaucoup de végétation. A l'arrivée, le propriétaire peut venir nous chercher sur la route principale avec sa moto. Il y a 2 bons restaurants à 12 minutes à pied, au bord de la plage, et plusieurs épiceries à 5 minutes à pied.

Wonderfully accommodating hosts who let us in on their life story, and were responsible for one of our most treasured experiences in Sri Lanka so far. Amazing hospitality from a beautiful and thoughtful family. Highly recommend staying here.

This apartment has beautiful views of Galle and really feels as if you are in a rainforest at times. The bedrooms and bathrooms are clean tidy and the AC/fans are great. The only downside would be that there is a school next door and made some loud noises/singing around 7am

המקום הזה היה מדהים - מכל הבחינות! נתחיל מזה ש Chandana תמיד היה שם בשבילנו בכל מה שהיינו צריכים - באמת שלא דימיינו שהוא יהיה כל כך תומך ועוזר בכל מה שהיינו צריכים. הוא עזר לנו עם למצוא מקומות לנסוע אליהם, מחירים לטוקטוק ואפילו לקח אותנו איזה פעמיים לעיר פשוט כי הוא נחמד ואדיב. Chandana מעבר למארח ברמה מאוד גבוהה הפך להיות חבר ואם נחזור לסרי לנקה בוודאות נבוא לבקר אותו! המקום עצמו - מדהים. יש עליית גג פתוחה עם נוף ממש יפה, האיזור שקט - זה ממש כפר קטן כמה דקות מחוץ לעיר ומרגישים בג׳ונגל. יצא לנו לראות סנאים חמודים על העצים, לטאות מגניבות ואפילו קופים! שזה פשוט היה אדיר בעינינו. מעבר לעליית גג הענקית שיש למעלה הוילה עצמה נקייה, מעוצבת טוב, יש תאורה מעולה, מיטות נוחות, החדר רחצה גדול ונקי ופשוט בכללי הוילה מדהימה. לא פעם אחת או פעמיים אמא של צ׳נדנה הביאה לנו אוכל שהיא בישלה, שאם יוצא לכם לטעום ממנו אתם תרגישו מה זו אהבה של אמא דרך אוכל.. תודה צ׳נדנה על הכל!

Quite simply my favourite place I've ever stayed. We went as two couples, myself and girlfriend in the downstairs apartment and another couple in the upstairs apartment. I can't recommend the place enough, you stay on a small compound of two villas and an elderly couple who are the caretakers for the grounds. It is private and secure, the caretakers are lovely and often came around offering us fruit and coconuts as a nice gesture. The pool is cleaned everyday and is lovely, there is also an out door shower next to the pool. We also saw a lot of wildlife around the apartments which was amazing. The downfalls is that the water pressure in the upstairs apartment sometime didn't really work so they had to use the downstairs apartments shower. Also it is about a 20 minute walk from town, which you might see as a bonus. It's easy and cheap to get a tuk tuk to town as and when you need one. It should also be noted that the pool is shared with the other villa in the compound, so it is not completely private. Hikka Villa's the company that runs the villas were fantastic, great with communication, helped us organise a tour and were over all very helpful and pleasant to deal with

I with my friends stayed here and we really enjoyed our time there! The place is lovely and 100% matches photo, Location is also very good - there're beach, cafes and big grocery store are in 15-minute walk. Kelani and Shantha were very welcoming and supportive in everything! Highly recommend this place, would love to revisit it!

The host Chaminda is a great person, very kind, intelligent and communicative The first impression was when we booked the apartment , he answered fast and advised how easy to get from Colombo to Hikkaduwa. Then the host decided to extend the courtesy of offering to pick us up from the train stop. The Villa Green Haven is a beautiful place, the garden is wonderful, fully equipped functional kitchen, clean bathroom, comfortable bed, big table in the living room. The host was very attentive to us, he was offering to show us the interesting places, advised where we can find best food and fresh grocery We were very excited and all our expectations have been met in full! We had a good time here

A great secluded villa with excellent cook (try the curries) and a very kind and helpful factotum. Great for 2 or 10 guests. Wild life everywhere- peacocks and pea hen, friendly dogs, cow to eat the grass, water buffalo and sun bathing lizard by sizeable pool. Bring alcohol and mixers and any other vital items for day 1. Or order in advance Would return without hesitation CJR

Beautiful villas in an authentic and natural location. Very clean, lovely pools and garden space leading straight onto the empty beach. We were so well looked after by everyone and the food cooked for us by Jagath was incredible. Julius was also very helpful and quick to respond to queries. Would very much recommend a stay here.

We had a fantastic 10-day break at this beautiful villa. The setting is amazing, overlooking the infinity of the Indian Ocean, with the calming sound of the crashing waves. The sea was too rough for a swim but the beach was perfect for a walk. The garden is lovely, the pool is a welcome escape from the heat and the house itself is spacious enough for everyone not to be in each other's way. We had so much fun during our stay - massages in the garden, wandering the neighbourhood and meeting the locals, visiting nearby beaches (Dickwella beach was our favourite, especially with young kids), safari, releasing baby turtles in the sea, boat trips, etc.... Last but certainly not least - the lovely staff. The hospitality offered by Suneetha, Ajith and Ari was truly special. They are all lovely and looked after us so well. Apart from the delicious food they prepared daily, they arranged our trips, transport, etc. It was hard to leave and tears were shed at the end. We'll be back, for sure!

Wow.....We stayed for our winter break for two months and it was fantastic. The villa, although a little quirky was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, the outside areas were fantastic, really good pool and beutifully kept gardens, with direct access to the beach and nearby restaurants. Gievs was always on hand to give us local information and to resolve any problems that occurred. Having problems reaching the beach due to the sand retracting with the tide he organised wooden steps to make our access easier within day....fantastic. The biggest joy of our stay was the house manager...Sadika who was always on hand to keep the villa pristinely clean and serve the best gin and tonics in Sri Lanka. his mother would come and cook our meals if we wished and honestly, her food was outstanding, beating most restaurant standards in the area. We loved our four day stay at Upul’s White Villa. The Villa was clean and confortable and set in lush surroundings. Itvwas s hort walk to stunning beaches. Upul and his family were very friendly and helpful. Meals are acailable for those who choose to dine at the villa. The breakfasts were an especially great way to start yhe day. Highly recommended.

My brother and I were looking for a nice villa to stay in, but we found an exceptional one!!! Malith was happy to help at any request and responds promptly. His father lives nearby and served us a delightful breakfast with a huge smile every morning. The surrounds are so peaceful and wild with gibbons, chipmunks and many birds. The villa has a delux pool and has some spa features. The beds are very comfy and have mosquito nets surrounding them. The bathrooms have modern features with gifts that you would expect from a 5star hotel. Like toothpaste, toothbrush, slippers , and body wash’s. The villa was furnished with eye catching traditional Sri Lankan trinkets. The Wifi worked very well. The villa is also very secure with big gates and locks n keys. Malith has also organised airport drop off for us and at a very cheap price I would recommended Saku very very highly to anyone. I can’t wait to bring my wife to Sri Lanka and we will definitely stay here when we are back
