We had a very relaxing 3 night stay - wish we could have stayed longer but we definitely hope to be back in the future. Incredible views of False Bay, great layout, great indoor/outdoor space - decks, pool, wood-fired hot tub - choice of gas or charcoal braai/bbq ! Great outdoor shower off master bedroom ! Large bedrooms with lots of storage/cupboard space. Well equipped kitchen. Felt very secure and safe. Excellent communication with host (Imraan) - who was very responsive and proactive. Overall highly recommended- we really enjoyed our stay. Note that there are lots of stairs to climb up/down from parking on Boyes Drive to house or down to the beachfront - we were aware of this and knew the geography - so it was not a concern - well worth the views from the house- but just something to be aware of when carrying luggage/groceries etc or for those mobility challenged.

Great place! Loved the pedal boat option. Perhaps not so ideal if you have toddlers because the staircase does not have rails. Minor issue really and other than that we had a good stay.

We had an absolutely fantastic time staying in Gardens! It’s just a great area with a lot of restaurants around. You can see the Lions had from the pool and be in Camps Bay or V&A in 15 minutes by car. The house is great. You basically feel like you are in Costa Rica or somewhere in the jungle when you wake up or have a coffee on the terrace. We loved it!

It was a real pleasure to stay at Laurette’s place. We had all we need and felt like home. Thanks to the guide that we received we found the right things to do when we were figuring out what to do or what to eat. Laurette is a really nice and helpful person, and responds really quick on the phone. Our kids enjoyed the pool and liked the big bath in the bathroom. We strongly recommend for families like ours who have 3 little kids.

We absolutely loved our stay and definitely hope to go back next time we are in Cape Town. The home exceeded our expectations and the heated pool was the cherry on top. Best pool we have ever swam in, which we spent all day in. Appreciated the easy electronic kid friendly pool cover. The staff were incredibly kind and went the extra mile to make the stay very fun for our boys. Highly recommended!

This is our second stay at Thilo & Cheryl's house in De Waterkant. We love this house! The location is amazing. It is within walking distance of everything in the ever evolving Waterkant area. We also enjoy walking to the waterfront from here which is about 15-20 minutes walk. The house is beautiful. Everything has a premium feel and it is super cosy. Lots of cushions on the sofa, comfy beds and bedding. The kitchen has everything if you enjoy cooking. Smart TV for nights in. There is an amazing view from the living area topped only by the view from the rooftop! The roof is incredible. Great loungers for sunbathing and an outdoor sofa for drinks and relaxing. The hot tub is great and it all looks out over the waterfront and the bay beyond. The location is great for driving in and out of cape town on the highway and also easy for central cape town with restaurants and grocery stores nearby. Thilo and Cheryl are very responsive and friendly making this a truly special place to stay

Our stay was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The accommodation was spotless, beautifully furnished, and had all the amenities we could possibly need. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The location was perfect, allowing us to explore the area with ease. The hosts were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always available to help with anything we needed. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We would love to come back and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fantastic stay!

Spacious apartment with everything we needed. Waking up, opening the curtains and watching the sun rise over the sea, whilst sipping a morning coffee was truly special. He best start to the day. A fantastic base to explore from and it was lovely to come back to and relax at the end of the day, felt very homely.

We really enjoyed our stay in the apartment in St James specially the fantastic view over False Bay and the swimming at the local tidal pool and Danger beach. The apartment was well planned and quite adequate for 2 people including a well equipped kitchen and lovely balcony over looking the sea. Thanks Anita for a great visit.

Was the perfect spot for our little family. Kids loved the garden space and the huge park right on the doorstep. Quiet leafy suburb and centrally located.

Amazing location with great views over Bakoven and Camps Bay. Great access to hiking trails right at the property too! Highly recommended to stay at if you're in the area.

Wir waren mit zwei Kindern (10 und 12) Anfang März 2025 in Südafrika und die erste Station war die Unterkunft von Uta, die uns sofort begeistert hat. Es ist noch schöner, als auf den Fotos. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man benötigt und die Aussicht ist sensationell. Wir würden für die Unterkunft und Gastgeberin noch einen Stern mehr geben, wenn es ginge.

Absolutely beautiful home in a gorgeous safe estate. Exceptional walks with breathtaking views. We felt like we’d had a month’s holiday in only a few days.

Philip’s place was perfect for our one night stay. We were able to quickly do our laundry before heading out for our flight the next day. It was excellently situated for restaurants that evening and the beds were very comfortable. Five star stay :-)

Tanya was thee absolute best ,a perfect host ,very helpful aswell as her helper ,the place was easy to find and I must say the pictures don’t do it any justice it’s a beautiful place clean and the kitchen has everything we needed for our stay ,the pool kept the kids busy as it was so hot ,she even gave us an extra day 🌸I must say she was one of the kindest individuals that have ever hosted me ,I appreciate all she did for myself and my family ..

Claudia's place was perfect as we wanted to be close to family in nearby town. We were two families sharing the property and had plenty of space and everything we needed. The home is great location to walk to the beach and nearby bars and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, would recommend, Claudia was on hand for any queries throughout.

We had an awesome time at Daniel’s place. The house is spacious and well apportioned and the location is ideal with a short walk to the beach and all the shops / restaurants in Sea Point. House is very well kitted out especially for kids with loads of toys and books to keep the little ones entertained. Ireen was also a god send - she kept the house spotless and also looked after our little one! We’ll definitely be back!

Superb place with a genuine ‘home’ feel to it. Lots of communal space inside and out and a gorgeous garden to enjoy. Tracy is a super host - responsive and shared loads of advice what to do locally. Hout Bay is a 10 min drive.

I rented the house for my wife, two kids and some friends. We had a very great stay and a good time at the house. Everything was as expected and described by the owners. We had a very good communication with them before and during our stay. They are so lovely and helpful. Restaurants are close, also grocery store and a mall. The beach is just 7 minutes away by car and around 20-35min to downtown depending on traffic. Also once a week the house is cleaned with no extra charge. All together 5 Stars from us! Thank you very much.

Me and the rest of the families would like to thank the entire team for a beautiful stay at this amazing home. The place felt like home and the kids and adults felt super comfortable right away ☺️ the surroundings are amazing close to the mountain range, great restaurants and plenty of amenities even in a safe walking range. The pool was loved by everyone, warm to the right temperature to enjoy all day and we also had amazing sunny days. The housekeeper Martha is amazing, we are so going to miss her she is the best! David the gardener kept the surroundings clean and the pool always ready. The only downside was that the bathtub in the master bathroom was not working due to a fault. All in all great stay, amazing family home. In terms of price it was high season and for someone who goes to CT every other year the cost of rental has gone up a lot and I would say we should be paying a little less then we did but I guess that’s the rise in what everyone wants. A terrific place to stay in Camps Bay and all exactly as descibed. Easy walk to the beach and local restaurants/bars as well as bus pick-ups for tours etc. Uphill walking back but no problem if moderately able. Ubers easily available and not expensive for exploring near or far. No problems as a base if driving yourself. We were an adult party of 5 and really enjoyed our visit to Cape Town. Ingrid was easily reachable and responsive. Would highly recommend and thanks for a great stay!
