This Yurt is magical and a portal to yourself if you allow yourself to be immersed in this back in time type of home/tent. The skyline has an opening to be able to look up at the moon and stars. The whole place is clean, quaint and full of nature energy. The outside has a fireplace and a patio where you can transport yourself into peace and light with the stars right above you. Very clean, very responsive and welcoming host. I am grateful to have stayed in this property and learned a lot about myself. Thank you Dan!

We had such a good time. It was the perfect spot for a fall getaway. It was beautiful and so comfortable. Great way to camp! We’re already talking about when we’ll be back.

Great stay at Stephen’s. He advised us not to use our non 4WD vehicle to get up to the site but we tried anyway because we arrived after dark. He told us he could help get our car unstuck and patiently did so. It was a serene place and we tried some of his distillery items, which were tasteful and great (no hangover!!). Friendly and loving cat who follows him around as well.

Fabulous views, lovely toilets and shower and close to the National and State parks just above the Terilingua Ghost town. A Great option for camping. Marc was a great help sorting out which of his spots was best for our mix of a car and 2 solo tents.

It was very peaceful and quiet but quite cold. There was a heater that didnt radiate heat well. it was also dark in the tent with two dim lamps. The outside was cute with lights but you can't really see the lake but of all the trees that grew out. Looks more impressive in pictures.

This is such an amazing place, if you are on the fence about staying here just BOOK IT! If you love being in nature this is the place for you. We have stayed here twice now and have loved it every time.

Excellent stay!! Incredibly beautiful farm and very well thought out glamping experience. Wesley thought out every detail to make staying outside, even in the cold, a positive experience. Would definitely stay here again!

This is a great spot for desert camping with nice little touches and amenities that Bryn Anne provides. She welcomed us soon after we pulled up and gave us excellent recommendations for hiking and restaurants, and made us feel very comfortable and at home. The tent and amenities are in great shape and exactly as described in the listing. The setting was spectacular for sunset, sunrise, and stargazing. We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit!

my family and I stayed at PaPaws place and it was more than perfect! place was easy to find and exactly as described. there were 4 very comfortable beds and 2 Futons. You could easily fit 10 people more than comfortably. The bathhouse was gorgeous! extremely clean and well kept. We also had a picnic table under a pergola and a gas grill ready to use! It is 30 minutes from Anakeesta/Gatlinburg area. There is a DG about 7 minutes away for any last minute needs. Janice's Diner is about 5 minutes and has delicious breakfast and lunch! staff was very nice as well. over all it is a place my family and I would book again!

Loved the people there running the place! My sons loved the Frisbee Golf course on top of the beautiful nights stay! Awesome experience! Also great pizza Strombolis in Lula down the road!

Would stay again very accommodating and lovely space

The tent look smaller from the outside and it was like a Harry Potter tent on the inside. The tent was equipped with electricity and had a heater and a fan. It was large enough for my family of four to hang out inside after it got dark and play card games. We went during a burn ban and in the middle of March, so it was cold at night. The campsite itself is cute. There is access to fresh water, fire wood options( if there’s not a burn ban), a propane table top grill, and a nice fire pit. My kids loved the hammocks. There are neighboring tents and cabins relatively close by. And while there is porta potty and showers down by the tents, I suggest the modern bathroom up the hill. The location is great it’s like 20-30 min from anywhere we wanted to go. We enjoyed our stay. Oh and the listing does mention wildlife. Wildlife came up to our tent in the middle of the night. So just be careful and respect the wildlife.

Wow! What a great camping experience. It was truly magical and picturesque. It's what I dreamed camping would be like in Animal Crossing! The paths from the tent to the outhouse were lit with cute garden lights. There were so many small details that made the experience so special. I think this would be a great place for first time campers! I can't recommend enough!

Wow...New Life Farm is awesome! The creekside tent is the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature surrounded by beautiful land and the brightest amazing star show you can imagine! Cory has thought of everything in the way of amenities to make your stay easy and convenient so you don't have to bring so much with you. Cory was an excellent host, very accommodating and the convenience of wilderness "room service" bringing bags of ice and bundles of wood directly to your tent was the icing on the cake! If you have any interest in glamping, try Cory's place at his working farm and you will be glad you did!

Our host Sarah was incredibly responsive and flexible. We appreciated her communication. As for the actual location and rental, definitely 5-stars! The bedding was so comfortable and looked exactly as the pictures. Private spot at the end of a roundabout was great for our pups! The tumblers and k-cups even had the brand on them, I loved the attention to detail. The electric was super helpful to have, and we brought our own Blackstone griddle to cook outside. Absolutely perfect! Oh, and a short ride to the visitor center to walk up and see the falls was amazing as well!

We absolutely love it here!! If youre looking for a peaceful atmosphere, this is 100% the place. My main goal of the weekend was to wake up to the sound of birds singing,fall asleep in front the fire & to spend some time in the woods. That’s exactly what happened. The marked trails on the land were easily accessible, peaceful and safe. I spent the majority of my time in the net relaxing while looking up at the sky & around at nature. This was without a doubt exactly the exact experience that we were hoping for. The host was amazing and everything was exactly as described. I somehow missed that it was located on an animals sanctuary so when we arrived & I saw the environment, I immediately knew I was going to love it! The highlight of the weekend for me was the hilarious show that the emus put on, my new friend “Harry Potter” & the amazing art displayed (by the very talented hosts)! I’ve surely found my new favorite artist. 10 stars!

We had a great evening in the Zen Den tent! The tent was cozy with a comfy bed, and the outdoor shower was nice. The porter potty was clean and easy to use. At night, we loved stargazing! It was peaceful and a perfect escape from daily life.

Kevins camping spot was exactly as described, We had plenty of space for our crossover and day tent with room to spare. The space was far enough away from the home where it felt private and was very quiet. We would rent again in the future if needed and you definitely cant beat the price. Thank you Kevin.

If you are looking to upgrade your camping experience this Glamping retreat is the place to do it! Current river and Jacks Fork are all very close plus so much more! Lots of trails and natural springs. We will DEFINITELY be staying here again soon. Jo and her staff are amazing. 😀😍

Host was very friendly and hospitable. The dogs loved exploring the property. The hot tub was great. Loved having the nice cozy bathroom. We went to Monument Lake and explored some trails on Mt Hernan road, hiked around Monument Rock, and went to Palmer Lake. Ate breakfast at the Coffee Cup Cafe in Monument…highly recommend. We had a great stay at the Wagon Wheel and the host provided everything we could possibly need. The grounds are beautiful and our dog loved swimming in the lake. It’s a perfect location to get away. We look forward to staying here again.

Absolutely stunning! Directions were clear, I took the coordinates and plugged it into Apple Maps and found it easily. The property is beautiful and the views are insane! Great stargazing and was the perfect space to relax with my pups after we spend the day hoking. Host was kind and responsive. Easy drive into BV or Salida. It was a very windy and VERY rainy weekend, so the floors got a bit wet and we weren’t able to be outside as much as we wanted, but that is no one but mother natures fault lol. Had no problems with wildlife but made sure to keep our items secured in the truck. Will definitely be staying here again! Thanks, Jeff!
